bought iPhone 4, keeping iPhone 3GS for my wife, she doesn't have an email address, can we manage and back-up 2 phones in 1 iTunes acct?

I sync a lot of contact info, my wife would not be wanting this info. Is it just a matter of changing the setting in iTunes before I sync her phone?

There is no solution other than getting all of your content into a single iTunes library. By design, iPhone syncs or manually manages with one computer/iTunes account at a time.

This happened to me too but it was really all there. Go to your calendar, click on calendar in the upper left hand corner, click on show all calendars, click done in the right upper corner. Everything should show up!!!

iTunes Match is not sharable across Apple IDs. The best way to get the music on her iPad is to leave hers signed into her Apple ID on the iTunes Store and sync via USB.

We have 1 ipod 5, 2 iphone 4s, one computer. Each have own iTunes acct. How can I sync/or download each one to it's own music? I can't plug in one iPhone because it says it's syncing to my acct.

Well not exactly. We've had the same computer for a long time. It started with two ipod 3's. We tried to add a third ipod3 and for some reason were not successful. (it never recognized one of these ipods). Okay, since then we've had an ipod4gen, ( I think I have generations right, not that it matters) anyway, I see in my itunes, that there are three "list" names. However, we now have new devices, an ipod5th gen, and two iphone4s. We don't sync them hardly ever, just plug them into wall for charging. Okay, my daughter(w/ iphone4s) wants music downloaded on hers, and yes as you have already read, when I plug it in it says it's syncing to my iphone. I don't want to mess hers up. So you are saying try to log out of my acct. and log in using her password? I get that part. However at this time I don't have her phone to try this. But like I said, I believe I tried doing that and it still said syncing to my account. So I "pulled the plug". We need three different accounts so they/we can plug in with no hassle from eachothers accounts. This may be a simple fix, but I am not "computer savvy" with this stuff.LOL! There is no way to split or merge Apple ID's.
That being said, it is possible to have content from multiple ID's on a single device.
Always use seperate ID's for iMessage unless you want to get each others iMessages.
You can use the same Apple ID for iCloud which will allow for downloading automatically the content wirelessly on the device. This may be annoying though if you turn on automatic syncing of apps.
The best solution is to use a shared library in iTunes and sync the content you desire from the computer. Then use a single but seperate Apple ID on each device.

I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. She wants to sync her iPod and also backup her iPod at both places. Both PCs have been authorised. Thanks

How can I get my songs from my stolen Iphone onto my desktop iTunes acct??

I am currently deployed to Kuwait and my Iphone 3Gs was stolen. I had downloaded tins of music on it. But when I log onto my iTunes acct from my PC, the music isn't there- only the receipt of purchases. Is there a way to het those songs re-downloaded without having to re-purchase the music??

Sorry to hear about the theft. And sorry again, but officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items other than iPhone/iPod touch applications. If you didn't transfer your tracks to your PC before the iPhone was stolen, you're probably out of luck and will need to repurchase your tracks.
You can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". Then you'll see a button that says "Email Us") and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis. But don't count on it. And whether they'll provide support for using the iTunes Store from Kuwait I don't know (the terms of service of the iTunes Store prohibit using it from outside the store's country).

The iphone will only sync what you set it to sync.
If you do not want his music, then simply do not select it to sync.

There's info here on setting up separate libraries and user accounts. You won't have to reload (or re-import) all the music, just copy it.
The reason I suggest separate accounts on the Mac is because if you have the two libraries under the same user account, iTunes will also open the last library that was open in that account, and you'll always have to be mindful of which library that is. If you open iTunes and find it's not your library, you'll have quit, relaunch holding the option key and select the other library.
No, you won't have to log in and out of the Mac. (If I'm understanding your question here.) Multiple accounts can be logged in at the same time. And with fast user switching, you can toggle between user accounts.
I'll admit that maintaining the two libraries gets a little tricky, because if you share all the same music, you'll have to add it to one and update the other. (That won't happen automatically.) But I think Home Sharing makes this much easier to do.

You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
