2 iPhones, 1 Itunes....problems?

My husband and I have iPhones but we only have one iTunes account. He had the iPhone 4, and recently updated his phone to the most recent OS. Now, he can iMessage, but the only problem is that when i receive his message it is coming from my email address. But, when i message him back it says it is from me. The itunes account is registered under my name. Is this the problem? Does he need his own iTunes account or is it because we share an iCloud as well? What do we need to do?

Passcode / iPhone / iTunes problems!!!

Updated both iTunes and iPhone software yesterday. Hooked my phone on the laptop today and iTunes keeps hanging. Disabled passcode to see if that helped with no luck. Reset my passcode and now the phone wont recognise it even though I know for a fact I am inputting the right code!!! Tried to restore the phone but I'm still having the problem of iTunes hanging as soon as the phone connects.
Anybody got any ideas of how I can put this right??

IPhone iTunes Problem

Picked up an iPhone 4 Monday @ the Danbury Apple Store ... The phone is fine but now iTunes is showing an error that the info does not match bank records (this is the same info which has worked for over a year) ... Have been emailing with iTunes support but so far no help ... have requested escalation ... Anyone else having or hearing of this type of problem???

Having the same problem. Have tried everything Apple suggests to do. Im really mad. Been using the same card for months and now this. I hope Apple knows about this, if its not fixed I'll start getting my music from another digital outlet. Have already spent hundreds of dollars downloading music from iTunes. If they know there's a problem, why don't they fix it. I see lots of people are having the same problem. Maybe we should all send our phones back, and request refunds!!!

IPhone iTunes problems

I have been purchasing music on my mac and recently it has been trying to download on my iphone as well. I have synced the songs to my iphone but now it still wants to download them. Is anyone else having this problem?

For others' info, it appears that the work around here is to ensure that the individual connecting their iPhone to the PC is signed into the Apple Store.
This seems to ensure that apps can be transferred and synced and also ensures, when updating apps on the phone, that the correct individual's password is requested.

Ive got the same problem, just got my iphone unlocked, and they told me to sync it to itunes to get it permently unlocked, well everytime i plug my iphone in it says; it wont work as it needs up dating to 10.6.3, which i have already updated, but still doesnt work, so how can i get my phone unlocked?

I cannot figure out how to resolve iPhone iTunes sync error message: "message" was not copied to the iPhone because it could not be found. Note: I just changed email address in iTunes, did that mess things up too? (same type problem with iPad 3 too).

I just recently had this problem and I don't know if it will work for you but what I did was plug my iPhone up to my computer, start iTunes, go into my iPhone on iTunes, go into my music, select all my songs, right click, and select New Playlist From Selection. This created a Playlist 1 and it automatically retrieved the songs from my iTunes to create the playlist songs. I then deleted the playlist and now all my songs play fine. (If any still don't play after the first playlist, create a second one made up of the songs that didn't sync.) Hope this helped.

I just had the same problem with my iphone, only thing i could do was completely restore factory settings, lost a bunch of pics and contacts in the process... hope you have better luck than me

IPhone, iTune or me?? Memory problem...

Hi, not sure if its an iPhone problem, an iTune problem or if it is me!
I'm having a new computer and I did transfer all my music and my apps overnight from the old to the new computer. I did a backup of my iPhone (4s) on my old computer and then tried to do the same thing on the new computer. iTune told me that I did not have enough free space on my phone to complete the synch (I did not add or delete anything meanwhile and had plenty of space on my phone)... But then looking at the bar at the bottom of the screen, I was surprised by the numbers: 8,4 gig of apps, 8,6 gig of others and 1,8 gig of documents!!! In order to reduce these numbers I have deleted all my text messages, the majority of my emails but these numbers remain!
I try to do a restore from the backup that I did yesterday but it did not work... I was thinking about doing a reset but I dont want to loose my contact infos. And I think that if I do so and then try to do a restore it will just bring me back to the exact same point.
Help me please!! Thanks!!

Actually, is there a way to manage the "others and the "documets"?? I know that "others" are my contacts, mails, texts, etc... but like I said, I have deleted most of them and 8 gig seems to be a lot!!!

System problems after installing iphone & itunes

I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed a weird problem with their computers after installing the iphone & itunes.
Up untill i got the iphone, my computer was working fine. Now about every 15 - 30 mins, i get a few seconds of static sound from my speakers, and my monitor flashes in a way i can only describe as static on a tv screen.
i've been trying to figure out what the problem is, and thought it was just my copy of windows xp, then i noticed that every so often, my iphone will buzz either right before or right after the static hits my computer. I've also seen the same thing on another computer running windows vista, so at this point, i don't think it's the computer, and the issue never occured before installing the iphone.
Can anyone help me troubleshoot what is causing this, (or at the very least stop the static sound from the speakers so that it does not interfere with my music).
Any help would be appriciated, this is currently the biggest problem i have with the iphone.

Hi - yep, it's your phone causing the problem. But this isn't unique to iPhones, many (most?) cell phones will create this problem when placed near certain other electronic devices. I haven't been able to put my cell phone on my nightstand for years because it makes the radio/alarm clock buzz.
I don't happen to have problems with my iPhone near my computer screen or speakers, but it makes my alarm clocks and my cordless home telephones buzz like you described.
I believe the cell phone is essentially connecting to the mother ship to establish a signal! Like I said, this isn't unique to the iPhone. Just move it away from your screen/speakers and you'll have fixed your problem

Problems: iPhone, iTunes and the Music App

As the title suggests, iPhone, iTunes and the music app on the iPhone have all been causing me a great deal of frustration. I am experienceing a number of seamingly related problems:
1. After adding new music and syncing my phone with iTunes, iTunes seems to "choose" what songs it wants to sync even though I clearly have "Sync Entire Music Library" checked.
2. When all my music does sync on my phone, certain songs will be missing in the app or will only show up when searching for them using the search bar in the stock music app. Other times they will show up in the "Music" tab and not any of my playlists or under the "Albums" tab.
3. I have experienced a couple instances in which WHOLE ENTIRE ALBUMS are missing from my music app on the iPhone, but will still show up when searching for them.
4. One album will display split up into two inside the music app even though they are organized into one unit on iTunes.
I have erased and re-synced all music from my iPhone multiple times, which will fix the issue for a short period then reappear.
I have an AT&T iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1 and the latest version of iTunes 11.1.5 (5)
If someone can tell me whats going on or at least let me know if this is a common problem. If it is I really hope Apple knows about it and is fixing it.

It sounds like your phone is not syncing correctly to your computer, and the Music app is not functioning correctly even after deleting and re syncing your music from the app. I recommend starting by turning off your Music syncing in iTunes by unchecking that box in the Music tab when you have the phone connected, and clicking apply.
Then close the Music app on the phone:

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and sync the Music to your phone again to re test the issue:

Iphone 3 G S and Itunes problems

Recently changed 1st gen iphone to iphone 3 GS. I am 2 issues, one it wont load all my purchased apps. and the second issue is when I use the iphone to update Apps, it asks me for a password for itunes, but its is with my old .mac account, which oooI haven't used since I created a .me account. The short is, I need the iphone to ask me for itunes login for [email protected] not mac.com.
Any help would be appreciated.

When you say, "it wont load all my purchased apps," what exactly happens? Does it start, and then stop at some point giving you errors and such? Does iTunes lock up?
I also just recently changed from the 1st gen to 3GS and had my own application/music synch problems, which may or may not be the same, but since I just solved the problem, I thought I'd relate them.
Even after my 1st Gen was 'deactivated' and couldn't make calls, it's basically an iPhone touch, and could be synched, no problems. But every time I've tried synching my 3GS, iTunes would install a few apps, and then hang up at random times as it installed apps. Using the task manager wouldn't always shut down iTunes, I'd have to do a hard reboot of my computer, install a few more before locking up, reboot again, install a few more, etc. For music, I get various errors (timing out, disk cannot be found, etc.).
After searching various iPhone/Apple troubleshooting forums to no avail, I wondered if the USB ports were my problem. What I've been doing is using the USB ports on my Dell monitor, because it was convenient, and it STILL synchs my 1st gen iPhone without problems. Well, I decided to try plugging directly into my computer, and voila, synched all apps and hundreds of songs, no problem.
Don't know if this helps you, but hopefully it may help anyone reading this thread for simliar issues.

You need to select the "Manage My Account" link and not the "Reset Your Password" link. Once you use the "Manage My Account" it will ask you to log in and in there you should see which email addresses are verified.

IPhone update problems!

As alot of people, I have encountered the problem of NOT being able to sync my phone with my G5 ever since the latest iPhone & iTunes updates. The phone lights up and indicates it is plugged in, but it will only appear in iPhoto, and not iTunes. The same issue with plugging it into the wall adapter... The phone lights up and indicates it is plugged in, but nothing.
The geniuses at tech support have decided to offer this solution: Update your USB Hardware to USB 2.0. Are you f*ing kidding me!!!!

Try a forced restore. Reboot your computer, start iTunes, connect the iPhone to the computer. Wait. If you get an error, or nothing happens for several minutes hold the sleep/wake and home buttons for a long time (~20 seconds) until you get a message on the screen that it is restoring.
If all of these fail take it to your Apple store.

[iPhone] iTunes always asking app authorization

Hello everybody !
I have a trouble with my iPhone 3G and my Windows Vista SP1 (latest iTunes). Due to a software problem, I had to FULLY restore my iPhone (so I reinstalled iPhone OS, and I used the factory restore), and now everytime I sync my iPhone iTunes tells me that "this computer is not allowed anymore to use the apps...", so I need to be ALWAYS connected to Internet to sync, and when I allow the computer, as usual it tells me that computer is already allowed.
I tried to reset all the authorizations (3 out of 5), but I can't since there is not 5 out 5 authorizations.
