Ive been trying to preview songs on itunes, using my iphone and computer. Typically when previewing a song, it loads and its a blue color and it will play. Now when i try to preview, it stays black, and loads super fast and theres no sound. And I seem to be getting different prices on albums every time i click on one. Its just being really weird.
any tips or tricks?? ive tried resetting my phone and everything else. nothing is working.and i can play all the music on my phone with no problem. i just cant preview anything in itunes.The number of devices authorized on an account and the number that an iPhone can sync to are two different things. You can now authorize up to 5 computers or 10 devices to play your content, but still an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch can only be tied to one computer at a time. You can copy content from other computers to the computer used for syncing, and get it on the iPhone that way.
Connect the phone to that computer, whichever you want to be the "master" of the iPhone. Click on its name in iTunes. On the right there is a Summary screen. Scroll down it and you will see several checkboxes. One of them is "Manually manage music and videos". If this is checked you must drag content from iTunes to the iPhone. If you have a large library, however, this can be cumbersome.
The alternative is to leave this box unchecked, and instead click on the "Music" tab when the phone is connected. You can then just check the content you want on the phone, by artist, genre, title, playlist, etc. After checking you click the "Update" or "Sync" button and everything you have checked syncs automatically. -
How do I get mail on my iPhone and computer to sync automatically, so e.g. messages read on one appear read on both? I am working in VN and the microsoft access server is in the USA.
If you created as an Exchange account on the iPhone (not IMAP or POP) and you have Push on it should all work smoothly; Reading a message on either client should mark the other read (it does on mine). Try deleting the account from the phone, rebooting the phone (to clear out old settings), then go to Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendar, add an account and tap Microsoft Exchange and add the account back.
There is a fundamental difference between BB and iPhone that you should be aware of; on the BB you do not sync directly with Exchange; you sync with the RIM server which then syncs with your Exchange server. The iPhone syncs directly with Exchange using Microsoft's ActiveSync protocol. So in some ways they will behave differently. But ActiveSync should manage marking messages as read correctly. -
I have different account ID's with my iphone and computer.
I would like to standardize both to just the one.
One of the ID's doesn't work, when I tried to list this second email with the preferred one a message telling me that this email is already in use pops up.. yes it is, with me??
Is there an easy to fix this please, FabfitzIf the email address you want to use is being used as the primary email address on a different ID you have to manage that ID and change it to a different primary email address. This explains how: Change your Apple ID - Apple Support.

No connection between iPhone and computer
I have No connection between iPhone and computer. Please help me. My iPhone (4s) went nuts a little while ago. Nothing happend when I connected the charger. I had to take out and put it back in again and again and again, between 2-10 times before the charger finally was connected. It's been like this for a while now and a did'nt really have that mutch problem with it. Until today when I tried to sync/backup/restore the whole phone. It started to sync but stoped at the sync of the 5:th app. tried to start over but now my computer can't "find" the phone. It says that the USB-device is not reconizeble.
Please help me.

Iphone and computer died, need to get the files from hard drive
Iphone and computer died at the same time, my hard drive on the computer is ok, i did a external connection of my hard drive to my laptop, my iphone was backed up on itunes on the computer which are on the hard drive, how do i extract contacts and other files from the hard drive thanks
If the old drive is not accessible then, no, you will not be able to access all your files on it. In this case you may need to look at the following:

Files in Trash
If you simply put files in the Trash you can restore them by opening the Trash (left-click on the Trash icon) and drag the files from the Trash to your Desktop or other desired location. OS X also provides a short-cut to undo the last item moved to the Trash -press COMMAND-Z.
If you empty the Trash the files are gone. If a program does an immediate delete rather than moving files to the Trash, then the files are gone. Recovery is possible but you must not allow any additional writes to the hard drive - shut it down. When files are deleted only the directory entries, not the files themselves, is modified. The space occupied by the files has been returned to the system as available for storage, but the files are still on the drive. Writing to the drive will then eventually overwrite the space once occupied by the deleted files in which case the files are lost permanently. Also if you save a file over an existing file of the same name, then the old file is overwritten and cannot be recovered.
General File Recovery
If you stop using the drive it's possible to recover deleted files that have not been overwritten with recovery software such as Data Rescue II, File Salvage or TechTool Pro. Each of the preceding come on bootable CDs to enable usage without risk of writing more data to the hard drive.
The longer the hard drive remains in use and data are written to it, the greater the risk your deleted files will be overwritten.

Need help, I want to download all the music I purchased through my iphone and computer from the first date i had iphone to date, and keep it in both my computer and iphone.
You cannot synch the other way, with the exception of songs purchased on iTunes.
What you need to do is move the iTunes library from the computer to which you've been synching your phone and put it on your new MacBook. -

It sounds like you no longer have access to the email address that is also your Apple ID and you cannot remember the password for it. According to the following article you may be able to reset the password either by answering your security questions or sending a password reset email to your rescue email address if you had one setup.
If you forgot your Apple ID password
Answer your security questions
Select “Answer security questions,” then select Next.
Select your birth date, then select Next.
Answer your security questions.
Set a new password and select Reset Password.
Use email authentication
Select “Email authentication,” then select Next. Apple will send the email to your primary or rescue email address.
Open the email and select the link to change your password.
When the My Apple ID page opens, set a new password and select Reset Password.
Use these steps if you didn't get the email or can't find it.

HT1296 iphone and computer not syncing calendar
I have a new iphone 5 and use a macbook with os 10.6.8 and itunes 11.0.1. When I connect with my usb to sync phone and computer, the calendar will not delete things or add things that I have on the computer or on the phone. I have all calendars marked and I've tried just checking other specific calendars and nothing is working. Is there a setting or something I might be missing??
What if there is no "Info" tab? When I connect my iPhone 5S, I see "Summary-Apps-Tones-Mucis-Movies-TV Shows-iTunesU-Books-Photos". I'm on Mavericks...?

Possible to be logged in on iPhone and computer at the same time?
I use Beejive on my iPhone. And iChat on the iMac.
I have checked allow multiple logins in iChat. But whenever I try to login say on the iPhone and iChat is open on the iMac, it tells me I'm logged into to two places and closes me out of one.
Is it possible to be on both at the same time?

How to set up Bluetooth with iPhone and computer

I am now the proud owner of a brand new iPhone 3GS 32GB and I'm in love...
I'm trying to set it up with Bluetooth. I used to be able to "Bluetooth" files to and from my computer with other mobile devices but I have difficulties with the iPhone. It won't connect. Anybody knows what I need to do? Cheers.The iPhone _does not_ support Bluetooth file transfer. You must use the USB cable for syncing, or there are file transfer/storage apps in the App Store (Files, File Magnet, Air Sharing, there are lots) that use Wi-Fi.
On the iPhone, Bluetooth is limited to voice calls, music streaming to stereo headphones, and tethering (using the phone as a cellular modem). Tethering requires carrier support - O2 and Orange support it, Tesco does not. -
Only happened after I got a new iPhone *(upgraded from 4 to 5c) and I downloaded the iOS 8.1.2 update.
