2 Iphones seperate iclouds.

I have 2 iphones, my girlfriends and mine. How do I seperate our phones so we both have seperate iclouds (so we dont get each others app's) but use the same Apple ID for any purchases.
If this can be done how will it effect syncing to Itunes?

You can certainly use separate AppleIDs for iCloud related things like syncing via iCloud and back ups, but if wish to use the same ID for itunes and apps store, there is no way not to have the same apps in the purchase list (you simple download those you wish to use, and don't download those you don't). Perhaps I'm missing something?

Then you need separate Apple ID's & iCloud accounts. This is required if you want to use things like iMessage, FaceTime & iCloud and not have a mess on your hands.

Help! I have created seperate icloud accounts for my kids devices and mine. My daughters contacts and mine keep merging anyways. If I turn contacts off and then back on on my phone in icloud, I get duplicates. Now I have triplicates!! I've double chcked that we are both logged in to our own accounts. Another problem....When I go to create a new message and search by name, all numbers, including those I have changed because the person got a new number, will show up. When you turn contacts to off in Settings>iCloud, you should be choosing Delete from My iPhone when prompted, as they will be synced back to your phone when your turn contacts back to on. If you are choosing Keep on My iPhone, turning contacts back to on in Settings>iCloud, then choosing Merge when prompted, you are merging a second (or third) copy of your contacts with your account each time you do.
The autocomplete suggestions you get when you create a new message, compose a text message, or perform a spotlight search, are stored in cache memory. Once in cache memory, it remains on the device even if the corresponding contact is later deleted. Unfortunately, at the present time, the only way to flush this cashe is to restore your device as a new iPhone without using your backup. Perhaps this will change in a future iOS release.

I should not have created a seperate icloud account for our second device

I have my sons ipod and my iphone on one icloud account. When my husband bought an iphone I created a seperate icloud account for his phone and now want to have all three devices on one account.
First, are there any issues with having all of us on one account?

Then sign in at settings > iCloud with seperate ID's for each user, if you are already signed in with an ID you don't want to to use, delete the account.
Use your own ID's for signing into settings > messages and settings > FaceTime (if you use them), but when it comes to signing in at settings > iTunes & App Stores use the same ID on all devices, use the one you have already made purchases from.

Yes. On each phone, log in to iCloud using the AppleID for that phones owner, and log in to the iTunes Store and AppStore using the AppleID for the shared account.
Settings > iCloud > Account
and
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID > Sign Out then sign back in again with the shared AppleID.

I noticed that Find My iPhone on iCloud hasn't worked since iOS 8 came out. Whenever I try to use it, it always says "All Devices Offline." This is regardless of whether I am in a good Wi-Fi zone or not. I like to use Find My iPhone to remotely track my battery charging status whenever my phone is charging in a different room. That's been really handy, which is why I really need to get this fixed. No matter what computer I use, the problem is always the same.
My device uses iOS 7. My question is: do I need to upgrade my device? If not, what should I do? I do not wish to upgrade my device, especially considering the bad things I've heard about iOS 8.
Feedback would be welcome ASAP.

You don't need to update to iOS 8 to use Find My iPhone. If you haven't already tried, go to Settings>iCloud>Find My iPhone and turn it off, then reset your phone (hold the sleep/wake and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release). After it restarts, turn Find My iPhone back on and see if it works properly now.

HT1766 trying to back up iphone to icloud

I keep trying to manually back up my iphone to icloud but it starts then it says could not be completed- can anyone help? My iphone has never been backed up.

Make sure that you're connected to Wi-Fi and plug your iPhone in to charge. Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup and make sure that iCloud backup is in the ON position then tap Back Up Now.

I want to have seperate Icloud accounts on the different phones so each family member can save stuff like contact info in Icloud. At the same time I need to be able for all 3 phones to share the same Itunes account for content that has been paid for. Just use the seperate ID's at settings > iCloud/messages/FaceTime and enter the joint ID in settings > iTunes & App Stores.

Installing Maverick on my Mac lost almost all of the calendar entries. They are still on my iPhone and new entries move freely to both devices via iCloud. How do I get the entries from my iPhone to iCloud without losing them from iPhone?

Like many others after I installed Maverick I found that all the calendar history has been lost and most of the forward info has also been lost. Also in order to get calendar, contacts and notes to sync with the iPhone I have had to move to iCloud. Contacts and notes sync fine. new calendar entries sync ok. My iPhone has all the calendar entries that were on the Mac before I installed Maverick. So far iCloud has not overwritten them nor have they synced onto iCloud.
How can I get all the entries from my iPhone onto iCloud, without losing the only copy of my calendar from my iPhone?
Thanks Apple for deciding to take over my privacy. I do not want this data stored on a US based server. Fortunately Mail still syncs via my own email provider. I guess Apple will find a way to stop that soon too!

It seems you are experiencing an issue with contact syncing and management. It seems you've removed an email account which contained a number of contacts that are not associated with your iCloud account. You may want to consider importing the contacts from the email account you removed. You can do it easily by following the steps in this article:

You can import an electronic business card, also called a vCard, into iCloud Contacts. If the vCard contains contact information for more than one person, each contact becomes a separate entry.
In iCloud Contacts, choose Import vCard from the Action pop-up menu , which appears at the bottom of the All Contacts list or a list of group contacts
Select a vCard to import.
The contacts from the vCard are added to the All Contacts group in Contacts. You can add the contacts to any other group by dragging them to the desired group.

How can i move photos from iphone to icloud without a computer?

I keep running out of space on my iphone (4s) because of the number of photos. I have 15 gb of unused icloud storage but can't figure out how to move the photos from iphone to icloud so i free up space on the iphone. I do not have a computer.

Did you purchase the music from the iTunes store? If so, you can download it again for free as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519. If the music was from other sources (ripped CDs, etc.) you have to sync your phone with iTunes on a computer to transfer it to your phone.
