2 Issues since 7.4 Update (and 7.4.1 Doesn't resolve it)

I upgraded to QT 7.4 and 2 problems started appearing, neither of which were solved with the recent QT 7.4.1:
1) Keyboard Inputs Stop Responding: When I open a QT movie (and QT for the first time) I can hit spacebar, use arrow keys, etc... all of which work. Once I hit Command+F to activate full screen the keyboard inputs still work. However, once I then hit esc to exit full screen none of the keyboard inputs work at all! This is very frustrating, please help
2) When I download trailers off apple.com (I usually queue up several at a time) only one will download at a time now. Once that one is done downloading, the next will start... I liked it better when they all downloaded at the same time... any ideas

I just tried on my Dual G5 and on my MBP and both fail after viewing fullscreen. Pressing the transport control buttons including the spacebar causes the computer to beep. Can you give me the steps you're doing so I can verify I'm doing the same thing?
I open a movie
Press l,k, j, they all work
Do Command-f for fullscreen
Press Esc
Then the transport keys cause a beep.
I'm going through trying different ways to get to fullscreen and different settings, but I haven't found the combination that will allow it to work, yet.

Since the kitkat update, my "talk to text" doesn't work on my LG G2

Since the kitkat update, my "talk to text" doesn't work on my LG G2 unless it is connected to WiFi. It says "unable to reach Google. try again later". Can somebody tell me how to fix this!? I need this feature most when I'm NOT connected to WiFi!

What version of the OS X are you running? Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac and report the Version back here.

IPhone 5 - New battery issues since 6.1 update

Hello to who will listen, I have had my iPhone 5 since it's release. The battery life was never as good as my 4's but I understood this with the new LTE and larger screen it would be expected. But - I just downloaded the 6.1 update and my battery life is now horrible! I used to make it through the whole day on a charge but now it's done by 5:00 meaning it's absolutely dead. I couldn't figure out what was going on until I remembered I did the update on Sunday. I understand suggesting to shut things off (wifi, LTE, Bluetooth, killing running apps) but these were on before the update without causing me issues. My wife's iphone 5 doesn't have the update applied and last night it still had a 50% charge left while mine was dead - we each used ours about the same amount of time even. I believe that Apple needs to issue an update to the 5 owners as well, This isn't a user issue but an OS issue and how it handles power usage...

Hi I've purchased music but itunes won't let me transfer it to my iphone. This has happened since the last update and is happening to my brothers iphone also on his laptop. any suggestions?

my laptop recenty went kaput and needed a new hardrive which was installed. When I got it back I downloaded itunes again and then bought some music. I connected my iphone and it would not allow me to transfer the music over to the iphone at all. It allowed me to pull all the music on my phone over to the itunes list which I realised at that point did have my usual music list on it. I can't seem to transfer any music purchased over to my iphone for love or money. This is happening to my brother on his itunes account also and he said it's happened since the last update on his. Any suggestions - I'm quite desperate as this is driving me nuts.

Plug in phone to computer.
in iTunes click on your device and then Music Tab.
Deselect the playlist in question, and click sync
Try your sync again

ICLOUD ISSUES since the new update!

Has anyone had problems accessing Icloud for back ups since downloading the update?
Basically, mine will not let me back up until i've viewed the new terms and conditions. It keeps asking me to view them every time I use my phone! However every time I go to view the terms it says "cannot connect to the server".
Has anyone had this problem/know how to fix it/know how i can back up on Icloud without viewing the conditions?

Problems since the last update and unable to remove program from comp...

I haven't been able to run itunes since the last update. Anytime I try to run it, it gives me the preparing to install window and then a little while afterwards, says that the folder program files contains an invalid character. I tried moving the program out of the that folder even as far as to the desktop as the help topic suggested. I have tried removing the program from the comp, but it won't let me do that because of the same reason it won't run itunes. I am at a loss of what to do. I can't seem to be able to repair it nor can I remove it and reinstall. I really don't want a defunct program just eating space on my comp. Please help.

Can you install any program? If so can you install the MS cleanup utility?

HT204413 Apple Mail SSL issues since last security update 9th March 2015

Since the last security update (2015-002), Apple Mail keeps automatically re-checking the SSL box in my non-SSL email accounts. Other email clients are not affected (e.g. Thunderbird).
Anyone else having this issue? Can the update be backed out?

Sporadic Issues Since Jelly Bean Update

Saturday afternoon I had the message to download the 4.1.1 update and downloaded the update without an issue. It rebooted 2 or 3 times and I left it alone. After about 3 hours I started up the tablet and several issues are coming up.
1. Tablet slows down when no other programs are open.
2. Clock/batter alert keeps popping up, going away and then popping up repeatedly.
3. Touchscreen unresponsive.
4. Touchscreen will open settings and scroll to the far right screen and won't allow me to scroll back.
5. A program will open normally and then crash or go back to the home screen.
6. When in the Toshiba file manager, the settings will keep opening up.
7. When in some games the game will pause and start scrolling or zooming in and out on it's own.
These issues seem to be sporadic but typically get worse as the tablet is left on. A reboot will sometimes help for a short period.
This tablet is currently pretty useless. How about a roll back? I've tried to get into the settings to look for the build number and it won't let me get to that window.

Macbook EFI firmware update 2.7 update and now my wifi doesn't work!

I did the EFI 2.7 update and now when I open the laptop from sleep on any wifi network it does work, and says im connected in wireless yet on safari im "not connected to the internet" after switching from one wifi network and then back to the original and waiting 30 seconds it finally works, i shouldnt have to fiddle and screw around with wifi on this computer when before the update it worked fine. I expect a fix from apple dang fast or if some one can tell me how to uninstall it, because it did nothing but ruin my computer experience. Very upset with apple right now.

I had the same problem, but was able to solve it by resetting the SMC control..
1) Power off the machine
2) HOLD OPTION + CONTROL + SHIFT + PRESS POWER BUTTON
3) Then release,
4) THEN POWER ON normally

Has anyone else experienced an issue since the newest update that when you try and minimize your firefox, it freezes up and then refueses to even respond?

This issue happens to me randomly at times. I'll be using Firefox when I try to minimize something, this causes any tabs or multiple pages of Firefox I have up to automatically freeze and won't even respond. They don't even turn a faint color and tell you (Not Responding). The only way I get it to do anything is by opening my task manager and have to forcefully shut down Firefox and then restart it. The problem is, when this happens, Firefox never tries to bring back the pages I had up, so anything I had up I have to personally go off and find again.

Try this:
Go to System Preferences - Bluetooth. Delete the keyboard from the list of devices by pressing the "-" button. Take the batteries out of the keyboard and reinsert them. In Bluetooth Preferences press the '+" button to add the new device. If the keyboard begins to pair, click the word "pair" and type in the passcode. Press return. The keyboard is now paired.
If the mouse is not pairing, try this: shut down the computer completely, unplug any USB mice, then turn off the power to the bluetooth mouse. ONce the computer starts up again, wait for the pop-up looking for a mouse. Turn on the power to the bluetooth mouse. It should work normally now.

TS1398 wi-fi issues since latest iOs update

Since I updated my iPhone 5 to the latest iOS version 6.1.4 (10B350), I have experienced several ongoing issues with Wi-Fi connectivity.
Is anyone else experiencing issues?
For example,
I can no longer get a stable wireless connection from my bedroom or bathroom in my flat, whereas I previously had full strength and access to the internet. I have checked with my ISP and there are no issues with broadband in my (small!) flat and my wireless router is working perfectly.
The wireless connection drops occasionally, both in my flat when I am connected and also when I am out and about.
This change immediately happened once I updated my iOS to the new version 6.1.4 (10B350).
Any thoughts?

Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer, Restore is different than Update. If the problem persists after the Restore, make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send iPhone to Apple for resolution under Warranty.

Video app usage issues since ios 8 update

I use my iPad Air (as well as iPad mini, iPhone 5 and iPhone 6) to watch videos I have purchased through iTunes, streaming them. They used to download onto the device as I watched them so I could delete them. Since the update, I am able to watch these movies/TV shows, but they do not download to my device. They are, however, taking up space in "usage," though I cannot get to them to delete. (It is showing I have videos in Settings > General > About. But when I go to Settings > General > Usage, there are no videos showing.) I have to download them individually to the device in order to then delete them.
I have contacted support numerous times, even being instructed to completely resetting the device THREE times. They have transferred me numerous times to different "Supervisors" only to get more run around. I have spoken to people on the phone, being told an engineer would contact me. That was nearly a week ago, and NO ONE has contacted me.
The issue seems to be with streaming my iTunes content since the update. I don't know what else to do.

My iPhone 6 is acting weird on charging. It started when using an external power battery. No charging with it. Then I tried the Apple charger and cable. No way. Battery went off. iPhone shut down. I tried a recovery. It seemed all was ok again. After hours restoring my backup. Then I tried another external battery. Again the same situation. So it seems that Apple did some software barriers to avoid third party batteries.
Before ios 8.3 at least there was a warning about not supported chargers. Now it the worst situation, as one has to recover the whole system.
Contacting Apple care tomorrow....let's see.
