*** 2 issues: Wrong email program opens in Safari and Photoshop files

I have a couple of issues I'm hoping someone can resolve for me:
1. When in Safari, I click on an email hyperlink and instead of it launching Apple mail (the email application I use) it launches Entourage. How do I change this so that when I click on the hyperlink it launches Apple mail?
2. I can't open a Photoshop file when double clicking it. It launches Photoshop but the file never opens. I've had this problem before, but can't remember how to fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing this so that when I double-click on a .psd file it will open in Photoshop.

For item 2 - try repairing permissions - and try doign a get info on the doc - under Opens With reselect Photoshop - or even change it to some other app then change it back - a while back I had a problem where the docs where trying to open using the classic compatible portion of Photoshop (the non carbonized code - or whatever it was called) eventually got it working.
Can you open the files from within Photoshop? or drag and drop them onto the dock icon?

I have two email programs loaded on my mac- Eudora and Mac Mail.
I rarely use Eudora anymore, but it has lots of old emails on it that I sometimes look at.
Mac Mail is my mainemail program.
When I'm in Safari, and I find a web site that says "contact by email"- I click on it and Eudora always opens.
How can I change it so Mac Mail opens instead as the default email program?

One more note- when I open my Mac Mail, I go to it's preferences and check Mac Mail as the default reader. But it always changes back to Eudora?

You could of course use Safari your default browser as a quick method of accessing gmail until you figure out the Firefox problem. (More than one browser may be used on a Mac or other computer).
Is this the only site you have problems with ? and does Safari work ok ?
Often this problem requires the page to be reloaded

Another problem is sometimes the cookies for that site need clearing

Yes but there's no point doing it here. As the Terms of Use make quite clear this is a User to User forum. It's Users like you talking to other Users. It's not a channel to communicate with Apple.

I should further say the files I sent are .xlsx and .docx files. They look fine my end and I send such files all the time without problems.
However, I did try to cheat by going in via the Safari onto my 'live' online email account and the Safari automatically transfers them to winmail.dat files with the same result.
Ahh - have just been on using my PC this time and you are right, it seems that the service provider does the transfer and then when my outlook opens the file (on the PC), it must reconvert to .xlsx etc again.
Very strange.
Ergo, I guess the question should be how I open wimail.dat files ??

Did you upgrade OS X to OS X 10.10. Yosemite?
This is the new default flat look. That is normal.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)

What version of Solman are you using ? Check in t-code Rz20 >ccms monitor template of satelliate system , there would be option to monitor your outbound mails .You can sutomise your monitorig metrics in solman 7.1 else in 7.01 you use auto reaction methods to monitor .

AIR does not support this inherently. However, you could write code to parse these file formats. For example, the following is an ActionScript 3.0 library for reading and writing Excel files:

You have several scripting choices within Windows. At a basic level you've got "batch files" - which run a series of command interpreter commands, and have a file extension of .BAT or .CMD. If you just wanted to open a list of Word documents, then assuming that the path to Word is correct (something like this below) you could list these in a file with a .BAT extension and run this (e.g. double click on it):

Another script language is VBScript, which was the example I gave. VBScript is available on most Windows platforms and can be run from a command prompt or within Windows. If you save the text I gave you above to a file with a .VBS extension you can double-click to run it (Windows) or open a command prompt and type CSCRIPT MyVBScript.VBS (assuming that's the name of the your .VBS file).
Other script languages are available to achieve the same thing, including Powershell, however you'd need to have Powershell available on your PC.

You shouldn't have any compatibility issues. But you don't store images "in" Lightroom. Lightroom simply points to wherever the images are on your system. You might like to watch a few videos that can help you understand how Lightroom works.

Slow to open Illustrator and Photoshop files from FileServer

I have a client that has 5 or so Mac users who cannot open Illustrator and Photoshop files from our Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard. At first, we thought it might be the size of the files over the network because some files are 2-3GB, but they are even having issues with files 200KB. We also tested network and bandwidth speeds, but they are all connected to Gigabit connections and running with PowerMacs.
Some users have a workaround by copying the files to their desktop to open, but that is becoming tedious as well.
Does anyone have another solution or know what might be cause to this?

Opening older .ses and MP2 files in AA 5.5

Hello All,
I was wondering if Adobe has fixed the issue of being able to open older .ses files in the newest AA software. I am still having issues with trying to open AA 1.5 .ses files in AA 5.5. Also any word on when they are going to allow opening MP2 audio files also.
