2 itunes accounts, 1 mac & 1 iphone- How to access all music from both accounts  on each device?

We've been an apple family for years now; we have many songs & a lot of $$ spent between two accounts. I know I can't merge the accounts but would like to use the music, apps, etc. from both on my mac, ipad & iphone. Is this possible, if so, HOW??

If you've bought the apps but now cannot access the store due to relocating and having to set up a new account, you should be able to keep each account open and switch between them on your iPhone.
You will need a new e-mail address though.
On your iPhone go to Settings...Store...Logout and then log in with your other account.
Because you have already given a valid address and credit card from Aus, this will be fine and you will still be able to receive updates for thos apps, for free (on the iPhone you'll need to be logged in under your Aus account to see if there are any updates).
Once updated, just transfer purchases in iTunes to copy the updates to your PC/Mac
Your new address will work as normal and you will also receive updates for this account.

Connect to iTunes via USB cable and reselect your music you want to sync.

  • How to clear all music from iPhone 5

I want to completely purge the music in my iPhone 5, hopefully in one fell swoop. Wasted half an hour trying to find out how in iTunes help.
    Thanks!

    Hey Jeff Neufer,
Thanks for the question. You can clear all of the music from your iPhone 5’s storage by navigating to Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage > Music. From this page, tap “Edit” and then the minus sign next to “All Songs”, then confirm by tapping Delete.
For additional information, see the following resource:

  • How do I sync music from both my mac and pc?

    Okay...here is my problem.
When I bought the first ipod all the music went on my pc. I then bought a second ipod and, using the same account, bought other music on my imac.
Now I can either put the music on my ipod from the pc, or the mac, but not from both. When I try and sync the two, 30 of the songs say they won't transfer.
    Any solutions?
    Thanks!

Maybe you should switch from auto sync to manually manage music. Then you can click and drag the items/playlists from either computer to the iPod when it's connected.

  • Post Restore, how to recover all music from iTunes Match?

    Hello,
I recently restored my iPhone 4S, and the back up went smooth. I restored the phone from a back up on iTunes instead of from iCloud (since it would be faster), and now I'm stuck - for my music, it won't restore it from my iTunes back up or iTunes Match. The music is visible with the cloud icons next to all my songs and albums.
I know that iTunes Match handles the music, and thus I can't control anything from the tab on my iPhone in iTunes, but is there any way to push all the music I have with iTunes Match back to my device?
Or do I have to tell my phone to download every album?
I feel like I'm missing some setting here, or some "Download All" option but I can't find anything.
    Thanks!

So... I figured I should try to turn off iTunes Match in iTunes, and on my phone. Tried that, synced again, and I can push my music from iTunes to my phone the old fashioned way.
Phew. I'll reenable Match after this is all sorted out!
Hope this helps someone else out in the future.

  • How to delete all music from itunes and start over

I have had many issues with my itunes, and I want to completely delete it and start over. My ipod has all the movies and music just as I want it. Is there a way to start over with itunes and import all the music and movies from my ipod and purchase history?

Rebuilding your library from the contents of your device is possible (see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device) but I wouldn't recommend this as an approach to cleaning up your library if you don't have to. You could, for example, delete the current iTunes Library.itl file and then reimport the contents of the media folder. This would wipe out all playlists, ratings, play counts, and clean up any dead links in the library, but might still show any previously duplicated content, and iTunes is likely to wipe and reload your device next time you sync.
Why not tackle the issues in your library?

  • How to access all music via family sharing

I have setup family sharing, my daughter can see some of my music but not all. What do I need to do so that she can see my whole music library?

    Hello, mummyholly.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I understand that some Family Sharing content is not showing on your daughter's iTunes account.  I would first make sure that Parental Controls or Restrictions are not enabled.

If the issue still persists, try going through the troubleshooting steps in the article below.

  • Got a new iphone , how to delete all contacts from old iphone

I got new iphone 3gs and now I want to delete all the contacts and photos from my old iphone 3g. Any ideas?

Two choices: 1. Plug your 3G in, iTunes running, hit the restore button. Restore the phone as a new device. Eject when finished, do not sync. 2. Plug the phone into a wall outlet(can take several hours), then: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings.

  • How to redownload all music from itunes

I have a windows vista laptop and a 4th gen ipod. I have made about 100.00 worth of music purchases on itunes and today I was trying to clear disc space on my laptop and deleted all of my music. I opened itunes and tried to redownload the music that I had previously purchased and it is showing as "DOWNLOADED" and is not allowing me to download onto my laptop again, and I cant transfer to my ipod again.
My question is, Is there a way for me to download my itunes music back onto my laptop? If so, How do I do this?

The first thing you can do is transfer your iTunes purchases from your iPod Touch to your PC.  To do this, choose File -> Transfer Purchases in iTunes.  You should authorize your new PC before doing this.
For all other content that was not purchased from the iTunes store, see this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different software available to assist you with this task.
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2452022?start=0&tstart=0
Finally, right->click on your iPod Touch under the Devices section in iTunes, and choose Backup.  Then after erasing and syncing your iPod, restore from that back up.  Or better yet, copy a backup from your old PC to your new one if at all possible. Here is more information on backing up and restoring your iPod .

  • We have three Ipads in our house.  We have one itunes account with multiple devices like two Iphones and Apple TV.   My question is about our three Ipads.   How can I set up the imessaging and facetime on all three devices while only using one Itunes acct

Okay.  We have three Ipads in our house with only one Itunes account.   When I go into imessaging and facetime on each of the devices, it wants to start switching my wife's cell phone and then the three emails associated with each Ipad to the contact information for all of the Ipads.    As of this morning, only the imessaging and facetime are turned on my wife's iphone and ipad.   My kids imessaging and facetime is turned off.     Do you really have to have an itunes account for each device to make then work???    Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Ryan

There is only one solution. Each user must have their own separate user account. All of their respective data would be contained in their separate user accounts. This also means each will have a separate iTunes Library. If you all use the same third-party apps, then each will have to purchase their own copies under their own Apple IDs. Some data sharing is possible. See:

how do i upload music from my itunes account to my iphone ?

    Hi viper1997,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
There are two ways to get music onto your iPhone.  If you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer, you can setup manual syncing so that you transfer the playlists, artists or albums that you want on your iPhone.
You can also download music you've already purchased from the iTunes store to your iPhone at any time.
The following links will provide additional information to get you started.   You don't mention what computer you are using, so I'll assume a Mac for now, as the basics are the same.

You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, including separate backups. I'd suggest giving each device a unique name, to make things easier.
