2 Mac Systems on 1 TC and don't see External HD connected to TC from both Mac Systems?

I cannot see my new external hard drive from both of my MAC systems - iMac and Macbook Pro. The iMac see's the hard drive within Airport Utility but I cannot get the laptop to see the hard drive because I want to be able to make transfers to the external hard drive without much confusion.
I do not want the external hard to back up to my TC but only use it on my network.

Alright... so now
I see my other computer "iMac" in the Finders Window of the laptop
It makes me connect to the system which is always has in the past.
I opened the External HD up for sharing within the File Sharing under systems properties.
If I wanted to move something from my, Say "Desktop" into the external hard drive will I continually need to log onto the iMac and move the file to the hard drive which is now available.
I figured that the External HD would just constantly show under shared devices on my laptop at all times considering it's a shared device.
Still not certain that I have all aspects correct. I've even went under the "side window" of the share devices and made certain that EX HD's are checked for viewing.

Feel stupid even asking this but I downloaded 2 movies that I rented last night and don't see them in my purchased items? So I thought maybe it didn't fully download and went to do it again and it said you already rented do you want to rent again?

If they aren't on icloud.com they are no longer in iCloud. If you don't have another backup, I'm afraid they're gone.

Can't save-All-relative files and don't see check_cs5.css under tab index.html

after closing check_cs5.css in the second tutorial I was suppose to get two tabs (source and check_cs5.css) which I could click on (underneath the index.html document tab). I don't see these. I can't get both the Design window AND the check_CS5.css code window. I only get the code for index.html and the design window. For some reason when I was suppose to save "all-relative-files" ... that was grayed out so I "saved ALL". I don't know why that was but it probably had something to do with the problem I just mentioned. This occurred near the end of tutorial 2 of the beginner tutorial.

I'm unable to authorize my computer and don't see any of the prompts (i.e.Authorize this computer, etc.) that they say should appear under Store Menu. Also songs aren't transerring to my ipod, which is why I deauthorized the computer, hoping to restore it, in the first place.

I got created a fonts collections in fonts catalog.app and i can see them in collections in the program microsoft word, unfortunately in InDesign CC is not posible, only got all the list of fonts available in the computer, the option to reduce the view of fonts is favorites or restrict by part of the name or type. I believe this feature most by included as default in InDesign CC. Manage fonts collection is a pretty good option to view big differents type of fonts selected together. even the smart collection are not visibles.

InDesign users use normally paragraph styles and character style, no need to sort out font collections. only when you set up the styles.
NEVER work without styles, don't us style overrides.
But you can type in any part of the font name and you get all fonts with this expression in the name, not necessary the first letters.

ITunes 10.2 Upgrade fix temporary. Fix to iTunes 10.2.2 by uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support and install AMDS from 10.0. Worked only to fail in 5 days. iTunes back to very slow to open and will not see device (iPhone) connected. Sorry

I was one this site for 20+ Days and found a fix for 10.2.1 when it failed. I Uninstalled all, following other attempts that failed, then installed latest Version from Apple iTunes 10.2.12. I then uninstalled Apple Mobile Device Support (AMDS) and installed AMDS from the older 10.0 version of iTunes. Success it worked. Today, I am now back to old problem, iTnes takes very long time to open and fails to see my device when connected (iPhone). I really only have iTunes for my iPhone no extensive library a few hundred CD's in music location and no podcasts. I have less than 6 moveis and want to update them now. I am willing to lose all in iTunes library if need be just to get computer to see G3 iPhone with iOS 4.2 and let me synch once again. I like security of backup too. It older iTunes may now not support, that too is OK. I still want to get the 3GS (no 4G desires, yet) and do not care if any of it is the latest from Apple as long as it works.

Your basic suggestion actually worked for me. But this is what I did for others who are having issues removing/installing etc.
1. Download the latest iTunes 8.2. You should end up with a file iTunesSetup.
2. If you dont already have WinRAR, download free copy from http://www.rarlab.com/ and install.
3. Right click on iTunesSetup and choose "Extract" to somewhere you know. eg C:\itunetemp
4. Open up folder where you extracted iTunesSetup and double-click applemobiledevicesupport.msi
5. It should ask you if you want to repair or remove... choose remove.
6. REBOOT your PC.
7. Go back to where you extracted iTunesSetup and double-click applemobiledevicesupport.msi and go through the install.
8. Plug in your iPhone.
If all is well iTunes should automatically start and start syncing your iPhone.

I do not see my shared albums on the new Photos app for iMacs. Where can you find them as my shared tab just says start sharing but doesn't display the previous shared albums I create on the the old iPhoto app.

I have a macbook air. It died b/c it wouldn't charge. Have tried other chargers. Won't work. Closest genius is an hour away and don't see anywhere that I can mail in my repair (where did that option go?) and no chat option. What am I missing?

I don't understand (and you will make fun of me here) what happened to customer service? My only option is to call you or drive for an hour to Ellensburg to get my computer repaired? I have four kids, Neither of these are good options. I hate the phone, I can't hear (loud kids) and will invariably have to get off before you answer my question. For a "tech-savvy" company, there are no chat or e-mail options? And what happened to the mail-in repair option? I think I paid enough for my computer to be allowed that much (not to mention the $400 minimum you'll overcharge me to fix the thing, at least). If anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do to get my computer working again, It'd be greatly appreciated. The green led light won't light up so I know it isn't charging and I've tried another charger so I know it's in the computer and not the charger. Thank you for answering my question. After taking the screen shot I started thinking "maybe it's one of the add-ons that I downloaded!!!" So I turned off the "Yahoo! Notifier" add-on, and sure enough "poof-it never appeared again"... Thanks for being the guy to get me out of myself and start thinking backwards...(And I really don't need that add-on anyway, just seemed cool that's all)... Thanks again timc...!!!
