2 Monitors--Any way to move menu to right hand monitor (IMAC on left)

Don't know if I'm even asking this question correctly:
I have 2 monitors with the IMAC on my left and the additional monitor on my right. It is annoying to have to scoot over to the IMAC every time to do anything with the menu. Can the menu be moved to the monitor on my right? If so, how?

In Displays System Prefs, drag the menubar on the display image over to the display on the right.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

My itunes account was disabled for some reason. I changed password in iforgot and still didn't work. I could log in but not make purchases from the store so I set up a new login/account . Is there any way to move my music to the new account?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
To open your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. You can download an already compiled version with this link: iWeb Switch Domain.
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.

Any way to move the slide workspace?

I'd like to be able to create action moves that start from outside the top and the left edges of a slide.
As long as the slide workspace is anchored on the top and left sides, it's close to impossible to accurately start a move from the top or the left.
Is there any way to move the slide workspace into the center of its work window, like in PowerPoint?

I do about the same things than you do: "primarily for proposal presentations, training, and speaker support for business meetings." What makes my presentations amazing: a very helpful characteristic of Keynote is the ability to copy and paste from Photoshop or Illustrator vector logos or other pieces of artwork, as well as importing PSDs with transparency and play with them in slides. Along with the new features in Keynote 4 (Smart Builds, Actions, etc.), I can now make my presentations move a lot more and with less work. I don't say my presentations are traditional: they have to be impressive enough to catch potential clients for my job. So sometimes I have to make some sort of movies out of Keynote, that last about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Some kind of stuff that would take days with Flash, but only a few hours with Keynote, and with the possibility to change many aspects of it in a minute, as opposed to Flash, again.
I do not experiment a lot with PowerPoint, because as far as I used to know, many of the features I mentioned above aren't part of PowerPoint. PowerPoint doesn't give enough control about animation duration. The choices are like "Very long, long, medium, fast, very fast". With Keynote, YOU set the timer. You want the animation to take 0.7 sec., it will! My little movies I was writing you about are timed as sharp as that, because I put music on them as well. Everything has to go one at the right time.
You probably think I should go for a much better 2D or 3D animation software than Keynote, but what is also interesting with Keynote is ease of use. I don't have to be a professional in animation to go the distance required. For now... I'm just getting started, though.

Is there any way to move AAC Protected Files to my new Macbook?

I had an older PC laptop and at the time I bought over 300 songs in 2007 that were all coded as AAC Protected. I've upgraded to a Macbook Pro and am trying to move those songs to my iTunes on that computer but am having issues. It keeps telling me that have to authorize the songs, which I have done, and I then get a message confirming that the macbook is an authorized computer. However, I still can't play the other songs. I'd like to rely on the Macbook for my iTunes but don't want to lose those songs. Does anyone know of any way to move those songs over? (I've tried home sharing and using an external hard drive.)

Is it possible that the tracks were purchased via a different iTunes Store account than the one you're using to authorize the MacBook? You can Get Info on a sampling of the tracks that will not play and confirm the account under which they were purchased. If you find that they were indeed purchased through another iTunes Store account, just authorize the MBP to that account as well.

To burn a DVD with iDVD from the latest version of iMovie, you have to export the movie using the Export button and select 480p as the size. Open iDVD and start a new project, then drag that exported movie file into the iDVD menu window, avoiding any drop zones you see.

I accidentally bought an album on iTunes on the wrong account. In order to download it onto my iPod, I think that all of the songs from the other account would be deleted. Is there any way to just move the album to the other account (which is on the same computer), or use two accounts on one iPod?

Control-click the songs in iTunes, show them in the Finder, copy them to /Users/Shared/, log into the other account, and import them into iTunes.

HT2513 Had to import Birthdays from yahoo calendar. Is there any way to move them to the iCal Birthdays calendar without manually inputing them each into Address Book?

I used to use Yahoo Calendar to manage my birthdays and notifications of them. Yahoo screwed with something, so now I no longer get birthday notification texts to my cell. Now, I've imported my Yahoo Calendar dates in to iCal. iCal has a Birthdays "subscription" calendar which only shows birthdays entered into the Address Book. I do not have any birthdays entered into Address Book. Is there any way to select birthday entries from my other calendars and move them to the birthdays tab, or must I manually enter over 200 birthdays into Address Book?
While I'm here, is there any way to highlight specific calendar entries and move them to a "new calendar"?

Any way to move all TOC topics to a book without doing each one individually?

I am in the process of creating a combination TOC that includes TOCs from the books that were added by reference to my RH project.
The first step in creating a combination TOC is to create a New TOC book in each individual book TOC and then move the topics in that TOC under the book, then create the combination TOC. Is there any quick and easy way to move topics into a book without doing it individually? I have several hundred topics and it sure would save time.

Faster than one by one, do this:
Open a TOC containing the topics you want.
Select all topics and copy them (CTRL-A, CTRL-C).
Open the TOC you want to put topics into.
Paste (CTRL-V).
