2 Numbers on 1 Account for 2 Seperate Businesses

Hi,
I have a london number for one of my businesses and a have just bought a Brighton number for my other business. How can I set it so I know what number people are calling, as it doesn't show which number they are coming through on?
Thanks
Lou

Hi, LouG, and welcome to the Community,
Unfortunately, Skype does not provide a facility to do this.  Each Skype Number purchased for an account is considered affiliated with the account, not the particular number.  I have noted your enquiry for review by those to whom I report.
The work-around people use is to create a new account for each Skype Number needed; that way inbound calls, caller ID, and call forwarding can be differentiated between the numbers.
The thing to be mindful of in doing this, however, is to use different payment methods, otherwise the payment methods and accounts may be trapped inadvertently by Skype's anti-fraud filters.  More details about this here:

  • One Account for Multiple Businesses

I run a number of small companies and want to use Skype to handle the phone calls.
Each company needs to have its own phone number.
I know that I can have up to 10 numbers associated with one account, which is great. However I don't know the specifics of how this will work in practice.
What I need to know is:
    1. Will I be able to tell which number was called when receiving a call (so that I can answer with the appropriate company name)?
    2. Will I be able to tell which number was called if the call goes to an answerphone?
    3. Will I be able to customise the answerphone outgoing message so that it's different for each number?
    4. Can two people on separate devices be logged into the same account with these multiple numbers at the same time?
4a. If so, can these two people call each other using this account?
4b. If so, can they each answer separate calls?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

  • SIRI Accounting for Small Businesses-When?

If any company can, it's Apple.
How wonderful it would be to speak receipts, transfers, deductions, purchases into SIRI and have SIRI calculate costs of production for items, determine costs of goods sold, ledger enteries, etc.
    Get to it, developers!

  • Why if I have created a seperate icloud account for my daughter and I, do I still end up with all her contacts?  Also, numbers i have edited or changed?deleted pop up when searching by name to create a new message, WHY?

Help!  I have created seperate icloud accounts for my kids devices and mine.  My daughters contacts and mine keep merging anyways.  If I turn contacts off and then back on on my phone in icloud, I get duplicates.  Now I have triplicates!!  I've double chcked that we are both logged in to our own accounts.  How do I stop this, its gonna be a lot of editing out duplicate/triplicate contacts in my list.  NOT HAPPY!!  Another problem....When I go to create a new message and search by name, all numbers, including those I have changed because the person got a new number, will show up.  Why is that happenning if I have deleted or changed them?  I end up not knowing what number to use.  It's extremely frustrating!!

When you turn contacts to off in Settings>iCloud, you should be choosing Delete from My iPhone when prompted, as they will be synced back to your phone when your turn contacts back to on.  If you are choosing Keep on My iPhone, turning contacts back to on in Settings>iCloud, then choosing Merge when prompted, you are merging a second (or third) copy of your contacts with your account each time you do.
The autocomplete suggestions you get when you create a new message, compose a text message, or perform a spotlight search, are stored in cache memory.  Once in cache memory, it remains on the device even if the corresponding contact is later deleted.  Unfortunately, at the present time, the only way to flush this cashe is to restore your device as a new iPhone without using your backup.  Perhaps this will change in a future iOS release.

  • I have an I phone and my own account  and just purchased an ITouch for my daughter - how do i create a seperate account for her on my computer?

I have an I phone and my own  I tunes account  and just purchased an ITouch for my daughter - how do i create a seperate account for her on my computer? I want to make sure that my apps do not sync on her I touch.

Go into Setttings -> Messages and make sure your Caller ID setting for Messages is set properly.

  • How do I create 2 seperate iTunes account for me and my daughter

I already have a iTunes account. Just got my daughter a  iPod...BUT I don't know how to create a seperate iTunes account for her on the same computer. I do not want her to have my play list and visa versa.

Launch iTunes with the Shift key held down and create a new library, or use separate Windows user accounts. This isn't the same as using different iTunes Store accounts.

  • How do I set up a seperate account for my wife?

We finally purchased a nice new iPhone for my wife. But she would like her own iTunes account. How do I set up a seperate account for her? She has her own laptop, with an iTunes account on it that I was using. Should I just un-install that iTunes package and have her download a new version? I'd rather have two versions so I don't lose the music on that old iTunes account. It's not huge, but would be a PITA.

    Apple ID
Go to iTunes > Store > Sign Out (your apple id) and sign your wife apple id in.

  • I have multiple computers set up on homesharing under one itunes account. Can I use face time on all of them or do i need seperate accounts for each?

I have multiple computers set up on homesharing under one itunes account. Can I use face time on all of them or do i need seperate accounts for each?

I'd suggest you consider a cloud-based file sharing service such as Dropbox for this sort of use. iOS is not designed to be synched with more than one iTunes library at a time, so attempting to use it as you describe, connecting a single iPad to multiple computers, almost certainly won't work as you intend and is likely to cause nothing but headaches.

  • One Corporate Account for multiple departments or seperate accounts for each

I would like to know if I can have one central account that can be shared among different departments. Or I would need to purchase seperate account for each department.
    Thank you for your help.

You can have a master paid  account which create forms for each of your departments and have each deparment have their own account (could be a free account). The paid account can create the forms and share each form with the right deparment. This way each deparment have access to their own data only and can't mess up the other deparment forms and data.
Really though.... I would recommand for each department to have their own paid account so that they are in full control of their forms.

  • I have an personal Itunes account and Ipone 5 and now work have given me a 5s do I need a seperate Itunes account for this?

I have just got a 5s from work to replace my Crapberry at last. I have an exsisting Itunes account for my personal Iphone 5. which I will keep. Is it OK to have both on the single Itunes account or should I set up a seperate Itunes for the work phone?

That's up to you, unless your employer requires differently. You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account. You can have the same content on each device or different content, again the choice is yours.
If you decide to setup a separate Apple ID/iTunes account for this phone, I recommend you also setup a different user account on your computer & use that account/iTunes for the phone. Do that, & there's no way the data can get mingled.

  • I should not have created a seperate icloud account for our second device

I have my sons ipod and my iphone on one icloud account.   When my husband bought an iphone I created a seperate icloud account for his phone and now want to have all three devices on one account.
First, are there any issues with having all of us on one account?
Second, if I can proceed, how to do I change his account?

Then sign in at settings > iCloud with seperate ID's for each user, if you are already signed in with an ID you don't want to to use, delete the account.
Use your own ID's for signing into settings > messages and settings > FaceTime (if you use them), but when it comes to signing in at settings > iTunes & App Stores use the same ID on all devices, use the one you have already made purchases from.

  • My partner and i have seperate i tunes accounts, can these be merged into 1 account for ease of use ?

My Partner and i have seperate i tunes accounts, can these be merged into 1 account for ease of use ?

    This is not possible.
    From Here   http://support.apple.com/kb/HE37
I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

  • Can i have a seperate icoud account for backup , but use my families apple id ?

can i have a seperate icoud account for backup , but use my families apple id ?

if the backup is being done from a seperate device, it will show up in the icloud settings as a different backup.
lets say your sister has an iphone backed up to icloud and so do you.  you just got a new ipad and you want to download all the stuff on you phone to it, no problem.  it would come up as a seperate backup.
