2 of my 3 accounts do not have a sent folder and I cannot find them.

I have 3 email accounts and I just found out that 2 of them do not have a sent folder and I can not figure out how to get them. All 3 accounts send and receive mail without problems. I am using Thunderbird 24.4.0 on Windows 7. The Copies & Folders section of Account Settings seem to be set up properly (one account works and the others do not using there own email addresses).

Thank you for your help, but a "possible" and a "maybe" for an answer does not help me find or get my sent folders for my accounts.
I had sent folders on all of my accounts in Thunderbird before, in a way earlier version.

There has never been a reliable firewire ---> USB adapter suitable for external high speed storage. This was a major issue when the MacBooks lost the firewire port a number of years ago (Apple subsequently brought it back).
The only high speed port on the Air is the ThunderBolt port. There are external ThunderBolt drive options out there, but they're somewhat more expensive than traditional USB/FireWire options.

Are you tapping any of the icons at the of the Mail app after opening them, or do they disappear without you doing anything ? And if you have more than one account on the iPad, does it happen on your other accounts as well ?

Please note that VLC was removed from the App Store a couple of month ago.

Were the photos taken by your new iPhone? If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore? If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.

A lot of I should haves. I had too many photos and while at work I opened up the 4 folders inside of the DCIM folder on my phone. I didn't think it would be a big deal to just cut the photos and paste on my computer as I have done this before. i moved one folder that had 803 pictures in it and all was fine. I ran out of time and unplugged phone and went home. When I got to work this morning I was looking at my phone and realized I only had 34 pictures. I knew there should have been 400+ there and they are gone. Don't know what happened and if they were deleted off phone or computer I cannot see them anywhere. Try to search with a Smart Album for photos and videos taken with an iPhone:
File > New > Smart Album:
Add an EXIF rule fro the "Add Rule" drop down menu: EXIF
and set it to "Camera Model includes iPhone".
Set the scope of the search to "Library"
If there are any iPhone images or videos in your library at all, this search should find them. Then ctrl-click any of the items and select "Show in Project" from the contextual menu.
Generally, Aperture should be showing your last import in the "Last Import" smart album in the "recent" section". And the "projects" view can be sorted by date, so you should see your recent imports.
You may want to check all search fields, if searches are active.

It sounds like there’s an issue with Settings, the Notes app entry isn’t showing up as expected. Take a look at the article linked below and try restarting your iPhone 3GS.

I am using Mountain Lion on my MacBook. I have successfully used Time Machine in the past, but I have incurred the following problem that I am requesting help on.
I am attempting to recover Sent and Inbox Mac Mail sent. I go through all the steps properly and locating what I want to recover, and after hitting Restore everything seems to be working and I get a message "Restoring 207 files". The guides say that then I am supposed to find the files in Mac Mail sidebar under ON MY MAC. But they are not there nor anywhere else I have looked. In other words, everything appears to be working fine except I cannot find the restored files.

Although you can restore messages from a Time Machine snapshot within the Mail application, it generally won't work with messages that were saved by an older version of Mail. In that case, you have to use an alternative method.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Mail/V2
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu. A Finder window should open with a folder selected. Inside that folder are subfolders representing your Mail accounts. The names refer to the email addresses you use. Decide which ones you want to restore messages from.
Enter Time Machine and scroll back to the snapshot you want. Select the account folders you want and then selectRestore ... to... from the action menu (gear icon) in the toolbar of the snapshot window. Restore the folders to the Desktop, not to their original location.
From the Mail menu bar, select
File ▹ Import Mailboxes...
Import from the mailboxes in the folders you restored to the Desktop. The imported messages will appear in a new mailbox. Move the ones you want to keep wherever you like and delete the rest. Then delete the folders on the Desktop.

Apps have disabled my firefox and I cannot remove them. Tell me how ?

Either the number of aps or size of my toolbar is "disabling" firefox. Once open, and when it opens my email, it will not allow me to respond, to read articles, to go backward or move u and down.
I would like to reduce the size of the toolbar so I may read interact etc. have flexibility,but Firefox won't allow it.

My emails disappear once they have been read, and I cannot find them in any other folders.

Every time I receive a new email, once I click on it (and it becomes "read"), it disappears after a minute or two. I cannot seem to recover these emails, they are not in any other folders. Are there settings that do this that I'm completely missing?
