Then also when I added a non-iTunes movie and tried to have iTunes make an iPod/IPhone version it gave me error -4. What's happening to my movies?
I also have to add that the right earbud only doesn't work on my phone while i'm listening to music. If I'm face timing it's okay. what the heck.

You can't. Movies are sold on a one-time only download. You would have been reminded to back them up at the time of purchase, unless you had previously opted to supress such reminders.

The progress for some games will transfer since some games synce progress to a cental server. For other games you will have to have the backup of the old iPod.

If you have acces to the old iPod yu can make a backup by connecting the iPod to the computer and right click on the iPOd under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up. Then restore from that backup. -
I updated my iPod and it erased everything i had on it. How do i retrieve the songs that i bought from the iTunes store? when i try to download/buy them again they tell me i have already purchased them do i want to buy them again? I have authorized my computer but none of them are in my music now.
You buy one and only one download.
It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
Certainly you did not update your ipod without making sure that you had transferred anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and included it in your regular backup copy of your computer. -
Hi I bought the oxford dictionary app a while ago and it worked fine . Now with the new iOS it starts and closes instantly. I don't want to buy it again. Who can I turn to?
Try closing the app via the device's multitasking bar and see if it works when you re-open the app : double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag the app's 'screen' up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.
If the app still doesn't work then try deleting the app from your device and redownload it (assuming that it's still in the store) via the Purchased tab in the App Store app - or resync it from your computer's iTunes (if you don't have a copy of the app in the Apps part of your computer's iTunes library then copy it over via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases before deleting it).
If that also doesn't get it to work then contact the developer. -
Stop and refresh buttons (one will disappear while the other is active). I have found numerous websites that just don't want to load on the first try, now I am unable to refresh it (usually in a new tab) because the button disappears. BTW 255 limit is BS.
You can try to press the ESC key to stop loading the page if you see the Stop button instead of the Reload button. You can also reload the page via F5 or Ctrl + F5 (cache bypass).
Firefox 4.0 has a combined Reload and Stop and Go button that appears at the right end of the location bar.
To restore the Firefox 3 appearance you can use these steps:
* Open the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window to move the Stop and Reload button out of the location bar.
* Move the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position at the left side of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons. -

How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. -
I tried to download a tv series and only 2 of the episode actually downloaded (the others have an error message). I can't figure out how to try to download them again. Thanks for any help
Open the Disk Utility in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder, click on it in the sidebar, select the Erase tab, and reformat it.

My IPad has one half of the screen with vertical multi colored stripes and the other half is normal. Has anyone had this problem and if so is there a solution?
You could have a hardware issue, but try this and see if it helps.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -

I am having the same problem and this really can't be true. I don't have a problem with Apple dropping support for older versions of iWork and other software but I purchased the current versions from Apple. Apple sold me downloadable versions (saving them the cost of pressing a CD and printing a package and helping to save the earth's resources) and now Apple is telling me sorry you need to repurchase them after you just spent $3,000 on a new Mac laptop. If I had insisted on a CD, I wouldn't be having this problem. If this is true, I might just switch to MS Office and Lightroom.

Question. In my computer music library, I "unchecked" all of the music that my daughter downloaded onto my computer because I did not want it on my ipod. But, every time I try to "sync" my ipod with my computer now, it keeps downloading her music onto my i-pod, even though her tunes are NOT checked. What is wrong, and how can I get her tunes OFF my ipod?
The best way to manage your music when you have multiple iPods is to change the settings under "Options" so that you manually manage your music instead of it doing an automatic synch each time you connect. To add only the songs you want, highlight them and then "click and drag" them to your iPod. This way none of your daughter's music gets added and you're not in danger of deleting your playlist as well. It will show you how many songs you've added and you can then click on your iPod to verify. To delete her songs off your iPod now, click on the music tab under your iPod so show everything you have stored. Find those songs you want to delete, click on them to highlight then go up to the Edit window and click delete. This will erase them off your iPod but be careful when you highlight. I did that and then had to reload a cd on my boyfriend's, lol. hope this helps

Upgraded to Lion via the App store download. After reading many posts, it seems that I can load Lion on my other imacs. However, when I sign into the store and check my downloads, Lion is not there. Don't want to purchase more software If I don't have to. Any Suggestions?

On your other Macs, Open ->App Store and Sign in with the same Apple ID and you should be able to d/l from the Purchases Tab -
2 4s one connects to win 8 and Itunes one doesn't. Settings all look the same on both phones.
I have 2 IPHONE 4s 7.0.4 both and Itunes 11.1.3.8. When I connect one it is recognized by iTunes and Windows explorer (Win 8). When I connect the other I get all kids of errors. IE Iphone detected but unable to identify along with 00064 and 00084 errors. I've tried all of the suggested fixes but they all seem to focus on the Itunes installation or application. Since I have 2 phone one connects and one doesn't this seems to point to the phone. I dont see any differences in how the phones are configured.
Any Ideas?I should add last night I was able to see the phone in Itunes and Windows explorere and even naviagate to the pictures in Win Explorere but I could not open any of the pictures. Errors like unreadable and Don't recobnize .mov.
