2 or 3 tracks per CD never import properly, please help!

Hi anyone,
Well, as the title suggests, there are always a few tracks that don't import properly on almost every CD I try to import. The first track nearly always comes up as 0 seconds, then a few others will only half import. I have i-tunes 6.0, all the CD's are originals, not copies, and I have tried altering all the importing settings. It's really annoying me so if anyone could help it'd be greatly appreciated! Here are some more details that might help:

Musicmatch is another player app. Still one of my favorites for it's Supper Tagging feature.
But yeah. Try to rip the CD with Musicmatch, Winamp, or Windows Media Player. If these give different results, it'll isolate the problem to iTunes or the drive itself (assuming there aren't other hardware issues I don't know about :)).

Do you get sound on any apps e.g. Music and Videos but not others ? If you do then have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think?

Error during import. Please HELP!

Hello All,
We want to export / import some page groups and are faced with the following situation.
We were able to get the transport set of the page group from the source and create the dmp file using the command:
File.cmd -mode export -s portal -p <portal_schema_pwd> -c iasdb -d pqr.dmp
We also created the transport set in the target system by executing the command:
File.cmd -mode export -s portal -p <portal_schema_pwd> -c iasdb -d pqr.dmp -pu <portal-user id> -pp <portal password>
Browsing through to see the transport sets, we could see the status of the created transport set to be "EXTRACT_COMPLETE"
But when we tried to import it, the status changes to MERGE_FAILED and the log shows: MAPPING NOT FOUND AT PAGE ID:xxxx SITE ID:yyyy.
We are not using any web providers. All are DB providers. Our page groups do not share any object. And we are using release 9.0.2 .
Someone must have come across this error. Please help.

make sure the Layer Outlines is not selected. You may be just
seeing the outline of the layer and
not the entire contents.

Itunes 12.0.1 cannot find track names online when importing CD. Help??

When I insert a new CD that I had bought iTunes cannot find the track names online. Once the CD is inserted and showing up in iTunes as track 1, track 2, etc. I click on option and select get track names again and then a message reading no error pops up. I recently just updated my computer to yosemite, and I did all of the iTunes updates, my current iTunes version is 12.1.0. I would really appreciate if someone could find a solution! It's driving me nuts!!

If you log in as a different user, iTunes will work fine, even when using the same AppleID. It's a user preference that was messed up during the upgrade to iTunes 12. I've been working with Apple on this by phone for a few days now, and their engineers will have their 'results' of my case by the end of the week. That thread has some temporary fixes in it (such as deleting a few preference files or creating a new user account) to hold you over until a true fix is offered.

hey team? My MacBook Pro is completely lame after rendering footage out of Adobe premier pro cc14 ( the legit one).
2.6ghz 8 gig ram and 1 terabyte. The footage was 4k go pro stuff. since then and now every time i successfully turn on my mac; patterns appear and violently change as if possessed. It is actually quite impressive. The one thing I remembet doing was in limiting the kb per second from the 10,000 to unlimited. this I fear may have caused my computer to burn eight theoug the graphics card.
I Took it to a place to get fixed ( core ) in New Zealand - who couldn't determine anything theafter because they never had the glitch when try used it. Still chargede though- So never use them.

Cannot Import CD - Please Help Diagnostic enclosed

When I try to import a CD into itunes - it appears to do so in a matter of seconds. Each track gets the little tick to notify that it has been done, however no details transfer to the library. If I double click on a track from the CD to play it, it appears to play a second of track one, then two, then three etc until it reaches the last track, again in a matter of seconds. I have successfully imported a couple of hundred albums before this, but I can no longer do so any more. Here is a Disgnotics check:

Tracking users in the Application.cfc, please help

I wrote a small tracking system for my web site. I am trying
to upfrade it to work in CF 8. Here is what I am doing.
I had this code on the index.cfm page of my site. I am
attempting to move it to the Application.cfc file. When I do, it
registers in the DB every time the user hits a page or clicks a
link. I don't want it to do that. I do want it to tell me when they
hit the site, and if I can what page they came in on.

I placed teh query inside a session function code, but it

is for global variables, it adds info to the DB everytime they
click a link and I don't want that. As for the entry page of the
user, I am trying to make it so if someone enters the site lets say
on the about.cfm page, that is added to the db and so on. Is this
possible? If so how would I do that?

the session, but it doesn't add any info to the DB. I also had to

it was erroring on the query attribute before in the session
function. Even that change didn't get it to work properly.

Since installing Firefox 9.0.1 LAST night on my iMac, which is running OSX v. 10.5.8, Firefox is now crashing every few minutes. It usually happens as I go from one website to another -- when I click on a bookmarked website from my bookmarks, Firefox crashes just as the next website is coming up. I have NEVER had this problem with Firefox before. I need to uninstall and revert to the previous version of Firefox, but OSX doesn't have an easy "revert to previous configuration" routine. Or... please send out a fix for 9.0.1 (assuming others are having the same problem) right away.

Thank you mha007. Actually, Verdi had solved the problem about 10 days ago. It was another Plug-in, Showcase, that was incompatible with the newest Firefox, so he told me to disable it, and that worked instantly. The other day, though, Firefox again started constantly crashing. This time I looked and found -- as you suggest -- another outdated plugin, in this case Silverlight. Don't know why it took ten days to start causing a problem, but as soon as I disabled it, everything was back to normal. I have NEVER had such problems with any new versions of Firefox, and I've been using it for ages, so this was pretty disconcerting to see how problematic the new version was.

Video footage I've imported from iMovie to Premiere cs6 is missing after the import! please help!

I initially imported raw video footage from an event that I shot into iMovie 11, but later decided to try an edit the footage in Adobe Premiere CS6. I successfully imported the iMovie file folder into CS6, then saved and exited the program to work on it after lunch. When I returned and reopened the file, the footage could not be found. I attempted to reopen it in iMovie and it came up as a missing file also. I know it successfully opened in Premiere because I've seen the footage. I didn't trash anything so it's not in the trash. Where did my footage go, and how can I retrieve it?

I looked around a bit and noticed that this same problem sometimes happens in iMovie itself. People lose their media because it gets copied inside the project file itself. If you right click to see the package contents, you might be able to locate the media and copy it to a dedicated folder, then reconnect media to it in Premiere Pro. Re-naming Track, Artist, Album Info in iTunes- Please Help!

I transferred some of my audio tracks that were already on my computer to my iTunes library, but some of the info. is messed up (Album Name is Blank or the track name is saved as the Artist and Song Title).
I have iTunes installed on my other computer and I just had to click on the space a second time to change the information. It's not doing that now. How do I change the information & make it so I just have to click on it to change it?

Hey Melanie try right clicking and clicking get info that will load up a page that will let you update the entire info for the track instead of doing each piece of info at a time
