2 questions: Asked below in details since I got an error saying to keep question 255 characters or less.
1) I reverted back to Firefox 3.6.17 from 4.0.1 since the Garmin Communicator plugin is not compatible yet-and 3.6.17 is very slow but this plugin is important to me. Any idea when compatible? 2) I thought I would be able to use Safari (compatible with Garmin Communicator) after upgrading to Firefox 4.0.1, but I get an error since when it installed it apparently deleted this plugin, and prevents me from installing it while Firefox 4.0.1 is installed-is there anyway to get around this and use the plugin with Safari, while using Firefox 4.0.1 for everything else? I would like to use Firefox 4, but also be able to run the plugin Garmin Communicator through Safari. Is there a way to do this? I tried to download the plugin after installing Firefox 4.0.1, but it wouldn't run and gave some 'plugin exception' error in Safari.

I am working on SSRS 2008 R2.
My Colleague gave me one RDL. I have added it to my SSRS project on BIDS & Tried to Open by double-click on that RDL.
I got a popup error saying "Failed to open report 'reports_List.rdl'. clicked on
Details button & noticed error explanation as . "Invalid character in the given encoding. Line 1, position 1".
When i try to View Code of this RDL, I got another error message saying "Exception from HRESULT: 0x80041FEB"
Can anybody suggest me ... what exactly the root cause of it? how can i resolve it ?

I have a macbook pro. I just upgraded to Mavericks last night hoping this would fix the problem, but it hasn't. I received this error message and now none of my USB ports are working. I researched some and people have told me to reset the nvram, yet it is still not working. I have seen Thunderport docks that include USB ports on them, but they cost around $200. Just seeing if there is some sort of adapter or clever way to get around this problem? I mainly use my USB port for a Wacom Tablet. I was thinking about replacing the logic board, but that would be my last option. also, when i plug my phone into one of the USB ports, it shows that it is charging my phone, but it doesnt show up on my computer.

Generally when combined total of items plugged into USB bus, where
ports are powered from one internal source, is too high, you'd get &
use a USB powered hub. This has a power adapter, so the USB bus
in computer does not need to try & support more load than it can.
Avoid charging an iPhone, iPad, etc from the computer, those little
USB chargers are better. And the Wacom tablet may be OK when
the computer is running on the power adapter.
The computer may not need a new logic board, but an adequate diagnosis
should be done before any major efforts are made into a big takeapart.
If you are in the USA or Canada, an Apple Store with Genius bar could
help determine the issues in the portable computer, if you check ahead &
set an appointment to discuss and diagnose this issue. This should be free
however the repair of any issue is another matter, and would cost. You can
take the unit anywhere qualified certified authorized trained Apple specialists
hang out, for further testing and repair. Or trust a reputable repair company
at a distance, and mail the computer away, after contacting them for details
on how they prefer to set up the repair, and how they want it shipped.
If you do get it repaired for one thing, while it is open consider items such as
a new larger capacity hard disk drive, etc. Otherwise a little while later, it may
be due for one, as they will fail. Even the fancy SSDs can fail quick enough.
Hopefully you can get USB to work good enough to further troubleshoot.

Why did the content of my iPad book disappear? I have tried to sync with no succes in recovering. iTunes store does not have an option to re-download.
If the book is still available in the store then you should be able to delete it from the iBooks app via the Edit button at the top right of the bookshelf, and then re-download it via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app. Is the book still in the store, and does it appear in the Purchased tab ?

When I was prompted there was an update on iTunes I did as usual and began installing the update. Something happened during that time and I got an error saying it didn't download correctly. Now when I go to open iTunes it gives me an error message and says I need to re-install the program. I'm not sure how to do that. I am also concerned that I will lose all of the things that I have backed up from my phones, purchases, apps, etc. Can anyone please give me some insight on what to do?

It has always been Prudent to Create and Maintain a Backup of anything you would not like to lose. -

It looks to me like it is a problem on your Windows computer not being able to start an application. It may help if you know or can determine which program Windows is trying to open when you upload photos -- there can be many different ones and it can be set by the user. If you are using Windows 7, you may need to check your Autoplay settings. every since i got my iphone out of recovery mode (stuck on screen with itunes and usb cord) by restoring it, NOW every time i plug my iphone it only asks me to restore my iphone (i did this several times). When I turned on iCloud backup now when I synch to iTunes it asks if I want to set up as new phone or restore from backup. Why? I have been synching this iPhone to this computer fine since I got my iPhone 4S.
1. set up as new
2. transfer you wife's purchases.
3. Just in case create one computer back up manually.

I tried to sync all the songs in the library of the music folder, when I did my usual sync , I got a message saying
Some of the items in the Itunes libery. Including “彩虹的微笑“。 Were not copied to the Iphone. “User’s Iphone” because they could not be found
For a list of tiems that could not be copied , click the “below
8 total problems, I scroll down the list , these 8 songs has same message like “彩虹的微笑“
I want to sync 8 songs to my Iphone 4, there is no songs there now.
.II did it. By relocated all the songs. Then did my usual sync. Now , all the songs were synced to my Iphone now.:)
