2 questions, do i have to activate adobe encoder manualy and....

Howdy peoples.
Adobe support have been no help but ask for more money for a product i just bout so i thought it would be worth a go asking here.
question 1:
I have deployed premier elements across 40 machines with volume licence. this is fine but when ever you go to use a MPEG video the adobe mpg encoder wants you to activate this. now I really don't want to have to do this my self to each system and I REALLY don't want student having to do this them selves. is there a way to do this through the installation process or something else
question 2:
Why is it that adobe premiere elements has such a heart attack when ever used on a network with roaming profiles. by default you try and open it up, it try's to create your profile and settings and freezes up. your only option is to open up the application data from a local user and then then paste that in to a network users profile and change the scratch folders to something like C:\student which doesn't totally fix the problem cause it then changes 1 of these to your roaming my documents and opens and prompts to change this one every time but seems to be usable BUT its my belief that I shouldn't have to script in the creation of these files or put up with extra prompts when creating a project.

Sorry, Beredan, but this really is an issue for Adobe Support. You're working with issues that go beyond the standard functions of this consumer product.
Premiere Elements often does not work as designed when deployed across a network -- Unless you've got some special arrangement with Adobe regarding volume licensing and network function.

Go here and select "Reset your password." You will receive an email message with a link that bypasses the questions. You will then be able to select and answer the questions again.

Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Not empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Now try a video.

A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... then download the base install for Adobe Reader 11.0.
Then download each of the individual updates and run them sequentially.
I've installed back up to the last security update which is version 08 and have been able to do normal Save As operations.
You will have to disable automatic updates in order to stay at version 08 until Adobe resolves this issue in a later release.

I assume you have the S/Ns. The download is at http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. Be sure to backup the download to CD or backup HD for future use.

Every time I connect my iPad to my computer I have to authorize my computer. If I connect my iPhone or my iPod all is normal, means I don't have to authorize them again.

Questions on the capabilities of the Adobe media server and system requirements

We need to send multiple video streams on different computers and screens in our organization. To do this, we need a dedicated server with the following functionality:
- transmit up to ten (or even more) HD and FullHD streams simultaneously
- manage playlists in real time without relaunching stream every time after adding items to the playlist
- imposing of any text and video effects
- use a variety of sources: a folder with pictures for the slideshow, video and audio files, video capture devices, video streaming from other resources
Is Adobe media server suitable for our tasks?
What are the system requirements (I do not mean minimum requierements)?
If we buy adobe media server, will it be enough? Or we will have to buy additional software products to provide all the necessary functionality?

4 AMS is not an encoder and does not encode or create streams.You have to use other software for that.Adobe FMLE is for live streaming...Use third part software like manycam(a virtual webcam on your machine) to generate video sources out of slide shows.

Step 1 - by trial and error...
So far, I have been able to create physical files containing MP3 and JPG on the NAS using the Windows XP systems to copy from shared locations on the Vista and Win7 boxes. This process has been aided by the use of a 600 GB SATA 2 capable hard drive enclosure. I first attach to Win 7 or Win Vista and reboot to see the local drive spaces formatted on the portable device. Then I copy files from the user's private directories to the public drive space. When the portable drive is wired to an XP box, I can use Windows to move the files from the portable device to the NAS without any of the more advanced file attributes being copied to the NAS. Once the files are on the NAS, I can add the new folder(s) to iTunes on any of the computers and voila, the data becomes sharable via iTunes. So far, this works for anything that I have completely purchased, or for MP3's I made from the AIC files created when I purchased alblums via iTunes.
I have three huge boxes full of vynl records I've accumulated. The ones that I've successfully digitized via a turntable attached to the sound card on one of my computers and third party software, have found their way to the NAS after being imported into iTunes and using it to bring down available album art work. In general I've been reasonably well pleased with the sound quality of digital MP3 files created this way, but the software I've been using sometimes has serious problems automatically separating individual songs from the album tracks and re-converting "one at a time" isn't very efficient.

All files have their "native" application. Without the application the file cannot be created.
Once created the file must have the native application to be "opened".
For the application to do that first to open is the software (application).

The current version of Acrobat Pro (XI) does support the embedding of 3D models provided they are in U3D or PRC format, and Adobe Reader will display them as it always has done - but only on desktop operating systems. Adobe has never supported 3D on mobile.
The last version which came with a file converter tool to translate 3D models into U3D was Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. That's been discontinued for years and reached End of Life in June 2013, which means Adobe no longer provides any support for installation or use of that version.
The file converter tool which shipped with Acrobat 8.3D was licensed from a third-party and is now part of the SAP document management platform. It is no longer sold as a standalone product.
As of Acrobat X, all 3D model translation is handled by commercial plugins available from Adobe's official partner - http://www.tetra4d.com

Hello! I have just bought Adobe Audition CS6 and I'm having trouble installing it.

Whenever I install it I keep getting the message that it "Failed to install Microsoft Visual C 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)" So I went to the Microsoft website and downloaded the package. Without knowing anything about your system we can't even begin to advise. These libraries are used by gigazillions of programs and even device drivers, so the most plausible explanation is that one of those other tools has installed an incompatible version or has flagged them as critical so they cannot be arbitrarily removed by other installers. Either way, this is nothing that can be solved easily. Also not that you have a "display requirements not met" error there, which may point to a configuration issue with your graphics hardware and potentially cause the collateral issue with the MSVC libraries.

I have recently installed Adobe XI Standard and it continues to lock up and close down the product?

We originally had Adobe 9 Standard installed and it never locked up, but with the newest version it appears to be a daily occurrence that it will lock up and shut down the program. I have uninstalled the program completely and re-installed and that did not solve the problem.

Do you get the opportunity to see the complete error send data to Microsoft via an error dialog? If so you can grab the Windows Error Log and post it here on the forums.
