2 Questions: Updated AE to 12.2, asking about Migrating Settings. Unable to click link from update

First question with screenshot: What option should I select when migrating my settings to 12.2? Should I select 12.0 or 12.1?

It's up to you which settings you choose to migrate. If you were happy with your settings in After Effects CC (12.0) and never got around to recreating those in After Effects CC (12.1), then you'd want to migrate the 12.0 settings.

I understand that sometimes when you receive an email it contains a small box with a question mark for the attachment. It sounds like what you may be seeing is a windmill.dat attachment. Please review the attached article for information on what these attachments are and how to avoid them in the future.

This is not Apple's fault AT ALL. You've been ROBBED by the seller - not Apple.
This is a security feature designed to prevent stolen iOS devices from being used by thieves.
Presumably the device you bought is stolen which is why the person you bought from has magically vanished as soon as he got your money.
Lesson learned: Don't buy products when you cannot verify you are buying from the legitimate owner.

After 1.13 update, I'm unable to click links on websites

I'm can't even type a search in on Google through safari after the recent update. No links or buttons respond to me trying to click on them. Any ideas?

If your iPhone is connected to a power source and your computer is turned on with iTunes active, your iPhone should automatically perform a wireless sync every so often.
Make sure that 'Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi' is also checked in iTunes on your computer under the options section of the summary of you device (you will need to connect the sync cable to do this).
Try restarting both devices after you check the Wi-Fi Sync in iTunes (dictated above).

I did a money order at this place called the istore via istore.com. I did a money order and just my luck i accidently did a wrong shipping order and ordered priority instead of standar which is 3 dollars more. I did this in my handwriting which isnt great but also a money order i was sending for my brother from a different company and it was in the same state and he got confirmation on it. But i called in at least 2 times( friday and today) and they said they havent recieved it but it was the same lady that picked up friday. I was gonna print labeling on the envelope but my printer cartridge ran out. I like to know if i got scammed or not or if somebody bought a case from here.

wow buddy, umm. First off, I dont think we understand what you are talking about. From what I can understand, it seems you ordered something from a website but didnt want faster shipping? I would just let them have the 3 bucks and you keep the faster shipping, 3 bucks big deal. I have no idea about the rest of it, never used money orders, that is usually a sign of fraud though, just use a credit card or bank card or something like everyone else lol. sorry I couldnt help more...

Series of Questions I didn't get to ask at the Apple Store today...

Apologies if many of these questions have already been answered, but after reading this forum for a few hours, I still wasn't sure, and I knew that at least a couple people would have the answers at the tips of their fingers, so I was hoping to make use of the group's expertise. So....
As background, I've got iPhoto6 installed on my iMac G5 2.1 Ghz with 2GB of RAM, as well as on my MacMini (connected to the big screen in the living room), and on my wife's MacBookPro. The reason I'm asking these questions in the iPhoto7 ('08) forum rather than the 6 is because I'm wondering whether it's worth upgrading my iMac (the main photo editing station) to '08, or whether that will cause more problems than it will solve.
1) Can you photocast from 7 to 6?
2) If I work in 7, will 6 be able to read the library (I assume not, but wanted to confirm).
a) assuming not, i presume i can just buy an iLife family pack, but can then i just install iPhoto (I don't want to "upgrade" to the new iMovie) without the rest of the package?
3) In "managed" mode, using 10.4.11, does 7 support incremental updates (my current library is about 25GB, and I'm backing it up to an external FW drive, but it'd be nice to be able to do incrementally, but I don't want to run the risk of referencing files)?
4) is there an easy way to review/delete items (in 6, i run a basic slideshow and delete on the fly -- is this still workable in 7?)?
5) Are there significant functionality benefits of 7 over 6 (e.g., does the noise function or shadow/highlight really offer significant benefits? The Events seems obvious, but I'm more interested in "under the hood" experience

If 7 can readily digest them (and preserve all my albums, etc.), then I'd love to combine them into one, unless that will kill performance, make the database unstable, drive backups into interminable waits, etc.
11) Finally, Aperture seems like overkill for me (despite how cool/powerful the interface looks), and I'm especially daunted if I can't easily share libraries amongst the 3 (and soon 4) Macs, but if I'm misperceiving, please correct me.

It is fine for me (only you can compare to your current) - I have 20542 items using 26.3 GB in 271 events

Events replace rolls (if your rolls are named - NOT the default rollxxx name - they will come across as is - to me events are rolls with much more capability and a new name - some people are VERY putoff by the change (but most love it) for reasons that I simply do not comprehend

The advertised max is 250,000 photos - I have about the same number of photos as you in about 1/3 the space - there are a few users here with libararies your size. With iPhoto Library Manager it is easy to maintain multiple libraries if you choose

JWS shows a dialog asking about update new shortcut in no-Japanese

I installed an application at JRE 1.4.1_03, with Japanese JWS. After
JRE1.4.2 came up, I uninstalled JRE1.4.1_03
and re-installed JRE1.4.2 without the uninstalled application.
JWS shows a dialog asking about updating new shortcut. But the "Yes" and
"No" buttons in the dialog box are not in Japanese, they are just empty
squares.
How can I fix these boxes into Japanese "Yes" and "No" buttons?

I installed JRE1.4.2 Japanese Page, so it will be International version. The installer and other dialog words are in Japanese. Just "Yes" and "No" buttons in Dialog are not in Japanese.

Sounds like you installed the JRE1.4.2 English only
instead of the
International version.

1. Because if you could, someone who breaks into your account could do it as well.
2. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

All media and apps should be in iTunes on the computer. Simply select the content desired to sync to the device and sync it.
FYI, backups have never included media or apps.

If you are having Issues with downloading iOS 5....
Try temporarily disabling your firewall and antivirus software and try again...
