2 ?s - Can't view photos on plasma - tv shows only show in black/white
I connected my 60GB iPod to my 60" Pioneer Elite Plasma television. Photos will not come up. I turned "TV on" and no photos appear. Any suggestions?
The other issue I am having is watching a TV show on the Plasma. I downloaded LOST and was able to enlarge it to fit the 60", but it only appears in black & white and with purple lines in it. I tried changing from NTSC to Pal and this did not work. Any suggestions???

Make sure your connecting to the right input or Composite input to your TV; Not Component R,G,B input.
Try direct connection to TV without looping thru any other equipment for this test!
After that if you still have video problems use a different set of A/V cables, as the ones your using could be damaged.!
Do the checks and then post results..!

This sounds like you are wanting to move your iTunes media folder to an external drive and have iTunes this folder from this location. If this is the case then I would recommend taking a look at the article below.

How can I view photos I downloaded 2-3 years ago and which suddenly seem to have disappeared. Only photos taken within the past 12 months are visible.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto. Version 8.1.2
- What version of the Operating System. OSX 10.9.4
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
When I open iPhoto, only the most recent photos are shown (last 12 months)
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages? This has been going on for several weeks now. There are no error messages, but yes, I had an update in the system (QuarkXPress 10.1), and the problem has occurred from that day.
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue. I tried to find out where the problem came from, but found no solution.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto? No
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

You can use automator to rename your files, BEFORE you import them into iPhoto. Doing so while they are already imported into iPhoto and iPhoto's database will cause iPhoto to lose the links between the thumbnails and the images.

I would suggest you to uninstall Adobe Reader using the cleaner tool and then re-install the latest version.

I have adobe illustrator CS5. When I save a document as a pdf and open it again later to edit Adobe reader can't read the whole document because it only shows part of the document. It is very frustrating. How can I fix this?

Transfer them to your harddisk immediately.
External drives are not offiially supported and the source of errors of all kinds including complete loss of files.

Have you inadvertently saved the files in a hidden or system folder that Explorer is not searching? Or have you used unusual characters in the file name?
I use and highly recommend 'Search Everything' - once its done its initial index it is faster and more complete than Windows Search.

Can't view photos in Adobe Bridge
Hi Everyone,
I just upgraded to a desktop, Dell Inspiron 3000 Series with Windows 7. I uploaded my Photoshop CS6 onto my new computer, but I cant view my photos on Bridge. No thumbnail previews, just the name of the photo.CR2. I can however view my Tiff files
Any idea how I can fix this? Would greatly appreciate the help, need to be able to see my photos soon!

MariaSo, you can't see your RAW files. That probably means you have not applied any updates after installing CS6.
You have to update BOTH Photoshop and the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in. That should work through the Help menu in Photoshop: Help > Updates -
Can't view photos in iphoto but I still can in Preview
Recently I changed some of the folder names of my photos in the iphoto library, but now when I want to view them in iphoto they are blank. I can still view them through Preview mode if I go through Finder, but that's a hassle. Also, the photos that I didn't change the folder name I can still view in iPhoto. I use iPhoto 5.
What should I do in order to get things back to normal and be able to view my photos in iphoto??i Brian

2 - You should NEVER modify the iPhoto library (or any other database structure for that matter) - you should ONLY use iPhoto to change things. At this time your two choices are to put things back exactly like they were or recreate your library which will lose your edits, albums, etc

If you're loading photos to drop box why do you expect to see them in iPhoto?

I had a PS3 and could view all my files on my macbook pro.. bought apple tv - thinking it was superior... but I can't seem to access my photos in iphoto when using my apple tv... ??? Is it not possible to view photos from my macbook pro while using my apple tv???
One edit to the location in iTunes -- as of today and iTunes 11.0.2, you need to go to:
iTunes | File | Home Sharing | Choose photos to share ....
and select the appropriate folder, then click the "Apply" button. -

If you are trying to view your photo stream from your browser you will not see any photos from there. If your using a PCM then you can install the icloud tool bar and under "my computer" you can see your shared photos

Can't view photos or stream videos from websites on iPad 3
When I go to a website with safari, I can't stream video or view photo galleries. It tells me that I need adobo flash player. That is not supported for this device. How do I see photoographs or stream video from websites??

When I say "more modern", from what I've read many sites recognise that Flash can be a problem on mobile devices (phones and tablets) because it's very power hungry. So, if I understand things correctly, many sites are putting up html5 versions, which is supposed to be much easier on computers / devices. Quite oftne when I go to a site on my iPad it auto-diverts to the "mobile" version of the site, and I haven't found a single case where I can't see a video. To be truthful, even if not directed to a mobile version, I don't have much trouble with any of the sites I visit..... I can see most videos and pretty much all graphics, the same as I can on my Mac, which does run Flash.
Still, I'm sure a computing expert will know much more.
