2 search configuration screens and saved searches

EhP2 SP08, For opportunities we configured a 2nd search screen to split opportunities where configuration is fairly different (status, priority, fields defined in the AET for different opportunity types) and yes there are some enhancements to include only certain opportunity types depending which search screen.
But appears the saved search can not identify which configuration screen the search was created against. As we look at tables CRMD_SHORTCUT, CRMT_DYN_QUERY I don't believe it can decipher. Looking for any ideas if there is a feasible way to enhance?   The saved search looks to call the configuration screen the user was last in.

We added the authorization in, but still no cigar.
When we try do the personalization, we click on the spanner button and it opens the pop-up where you can choose which tabs to include in your view, but when you try to save it, it doesn't affect the changes, and the web-browser give us javascript:void(0) in the bottom left corner.
If we google "javascript:void(0)" it comes up with the following information.

Even if this is a probelm with the web-browser it stil doesn't expplain why it works for some users and for other not.
Is there any way we can configure or customize the "defualt view" so that even though the changes cannot be made by the user, all the required tabs are in the various bp/case screens?

Hi I am new to siebel, in my practise i tried to display a screen with a view, i have done the following step
1) Created List and Form Applet
2) Created a view and attached the above Applets to his view
3) Registered the view through Administration - Application>>View
4) Add that view to a responsibility
5) Created a screen and associated the above view to this screen
6) under Application>>Page Tab i have created a new record for the above screen
7) Compile the changes
However all the steps seems to be in order iam unable to see the new screen when i log into the application (As the responsibility which has the above view)
Can anyone please provide me the step by step process (Screen shots wud be a great help).

I highly doubt anyone is willing to provide a detailed guide for that.
I would say Bookshelf chapter Configuring Siebel should be detailed enough.
One thing I would try is to add your View to an existing Screen and see if that works.
That way you can see what works and doesn't work to narrow the problem down.

Iphone won't get past configure screen

I had to restore my iphone from a backup because I got an error saying there were problems and it needed restored.
Upon restoring, the phone has gone to the "configure" screen and lets me get to the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When I connected, it synced and I can access everything through itunes, but when I eject it, the screen never goes away. I cannot get to anything on my phone because it says to connect it to iTunes.
Should I restore again, but not from my backup? I really don't want to lose all my cached info unless necessary.

What did you do to fix it? I have the some problem since the new IOS7 update. I hate Apple, that is official. Their devices are pure poo. Anyway, I need to retrieve very important data I have on the phone and the configuration tool doesn't work, neither via wi fi or when I connect to I tunes. Any help will be much appreciated. Hi Kalpana
Please reread my comment. I said to try and populate "Requested End" Date.
Make sure the date profile assigned to the transaction includes this Date Type.
If you can populate this either manually or programmatically the solution should be quite forward.
If you cannot do this, only then should you look at making any significant sort of enhancement.

This can also be a problem with the files [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
Delete [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
You will have to redo App Tabs and Tab Groups after deleting sessionstore.js.

How to implement Quick Query and Saved Searches in ADF?

We are using 11gR2 ADF.
The requirement is to enable Quick Search and save the Searches.
In the Oracle ADF documentation, it is mentioned that
- Create a view with view criteria named.
- In the .jspx drag and drop the view criteria and Select Quick Query
Upon doing the above, we see that a Search panel is getting created, but with a message 'No Search Fields Added'.
In the named view criteria, Under 'UI Hints' we have set
-- execution mode as Both
-- Search region mode is Basic
-- Show Operators in Basic
Under 'Criteria Definition'
the attributes are added in a group with OR condition.

SaveQueryMode = hidden
ModeChangeVisible = false

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Find which screen, folder it was moved to, and hold down the icon until the icons start shaking. Then drag it to the left or right edge of the screen, and it will allow you to move it to which ever screen you want it. When you have it there, tap the Home button to stop the icons form shaking.

Thanks. So there's no means of knowing whether a text message has been delivered, not to mention time of delivery. Perhaps I've gone for the wrong phone. It might do a lot but seems to miss out on some basics.

I've had my iPad (retina display) since last year. Over the last few weeks the App Store struggles to load on occasion and times out completely. When searches do rarely complete, the App Store closes down and returns my iPad to the home screen and, when I open the App Store again, it has just reset the store, forcing it to load all over again. I've tried closing all running background applications, with no difference being made. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Double-click the Home button to reveal Task Bar
2. Hold the App Store app down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Re-launch the app and test

Try to restore your iphone via iTunes or update to ios6.1.2.
If itunes gives an error with restoring (DFU/Recovery or just normal)
try this:
open your computer and search on windows; C://windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
open up the hosts file in note pad you will see IP adresses and more add another line and put in this:
#74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
this is a by-pass to the cydia/saurik restore server, it has nothing to do with jailbreaking over voiding apple's warranty
