2 separate itunes & itunes match accounts on 1 computer

Hi,
My girlfriend and I have two seperate itunes accounts and two seperate itunes match accounts. I recently added her to my computer, but I'm now unable to access my itunes match contact. I get a message saying only one itunes account can be used per 90 days.
As we're both paying for the service, it seems pretty bad that I'm now locked out of accessing my own music.
Does anyone now if there is a workaround for this issue?

It's even worse than that. This does not only affect iTunes Match, but also things like downloading past purchases. I switched from my (German) iTunes Match account to the American iTunes account and re-downloaded some old stuff. When I switched back, everything was fine. When I tried to turn on iTunes Match, I get an error message. Bummer. This ***** big time.
So, be careful when you switch, on what, and what you switch to.

If you had iTunes Match before all this happened, yes. Just log in, activate iTM and download the music. If you did not have iTunes Match prior to these incidents, no, it can not help you.
You should also be doing regular backups of your personal data to an extnal HDD. If you had a backup hue could simply restore it.

HT204074 2 itunes match accounts on same computer

My wife and I just purchased our first iMac (yay us).
We set it up with 2 user id's, both administrator, and began personalising our profiles. She set up her music match on her profile and I discovered that when i logged in under my profile and tried to do the same with my seperate account music match account that I could not. I got a message saying that the device was already associated with another music match id. What can I do, I would have thought that it would be a relatively simple thing to associate two seperate accounts with two seperate profiles, not so I guess.
Any and all help would be appreciated.

iTunes Match can only be applied to one Apple ID on one authorized computer.
iTunes Store: Subscribing to iTunes Match
It sounds like your best bet to access all of the music between your two user accounts is to use Home Sharing.

2 mac user accounts, 2 itunes match accounts, 1 mac

I have a mac that I share by two seperate logins. I was using itunes match fine in my login. My gf signed up for itunes match and associated under itunes with in her own login, totally seperate itunes libary etc. Now I had issus with match not working so logged out of itunes match and back in with the same id and I am told
This computer is already associated with an Apple ID.
You can use iTunes Match on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 79 days
Am I really facing a situation where we can't have two itunes match accounts on the same hardware even with totally differnt log ins and apple ids?

This is exactly the case. Because iTunes Match is associated with one and only one iTunes Store account ID the same computer hardware can not be associated with two instances of iTunes Match. Just as the same iDevice hardware can not be associated with more than one iTunes Store account at a time.

Itunes Radio choppy or hard to play after upgrading to an itunes match account?

Hello friends,
am seeking some help since I have no idea what might be causing the issue. I've been working on this during my freetime for quite a while, but I'm stumped. Hoping some of you can help me.
Basically, Itunes Radio (and my match songs for that matter) are having a hard time playing on my iPhone 5c, which has recently been updated to ios 8.1. The iphone is a 32GB phone and has plenty of space for apps and third party music players but it is not so great for a huge library. But, the main reason I upgraded to an itunes match account was because of the ability to play itunes radio without any commercials. Well, there's no commercials... but i'm also unable to play itunes radio on my iphone. It plays just fine on my Macbook Pro (2010), with an updated yosemite but whenever I try to play a radio or song from my itunes match library it goes for about 30s, then just...stops, goes 30s ... then stops. So basically, it SOUNDS like an internet connection issue.... but.... well, let me list the things i've already tried.
-- power cycle (slide to power off); same thing
-- hard restart (power + home button at the same time); same thing
-- updated the device; same thing
-- reset network settings; same thing
-- reset ALL settings; same thing
-- restored device to factory settings; same thing
-- different wifi; same thing
-- using cellular data; same thing (lasts longer, though...interestingly enough).
-- turning itunes match on/off; same thing
-- deleting & syncing itunes match; same thing.
-- restore device & set up as new; same thing (worked for about 2 songs).
-- changed all songs to AACC format; same thing
(same thing = same symptoms, in case you didn't catch that. ;-) )
I am out of ideas at this point. Anybody want to throw anything at me? I'm seriously willing to try ANYTHING that doesn't require me to wait.
Should note that I use comcast as my internet provider, we have several internet boosters in the house (hence multiple wifi.... my father needs wifi for work so we have a backup plan for the back up plan) and I have recently gotten in contact with comcast for an unrelated netflix issue.

ITunes Match account when moving from France to USA.

I'm moving from France to California for work in a few month. I have a french iTunes account / iTunes Match account.
I was wondering how to transfert them as a US account (for iTunes account I'm pretty sure it's easy, but I don't really know for iTunes Match Account).

You cannot transfer iTunes Store accounts across stores. If you will wish to use the US store you will have to switch over completely and start using that store. iTunes Match will have to be canceled and re-subscribed if you switch stores. How do I cancel an iTunes match account?

Trying to change my country setting on my icloud account, but cannot seem to be able to as I keep getting a message to first cancel my itunes match account. How do I do that?

I've emailed support back and forth and they wont budge
as you know you cant change creditcard info etc so.....no more apps , no more itune purchase.

I have itunes match on my ipad, iphone and two pc's, my wife has her own itunes account on her iphone and her laptop. Is it possible for her to share my itunes match account so that I only have to worry about one itunes library?

Try this on her iPhone...
Settings > Store.
Tap her acount name, log out then log in with your iTunes account.
Now Settings > Music.
Turn on iTunes Match (it should ask for your account password).
She should then be able to go back to Settings > Store, log out of your iTunes account and log back in with her iTunes account.

The most efficacious way to get your music and other personal data onto your new Mac is to restore it from the backup you made of your old computer. Once that is done you can re-enable iTM on the new Mac and your iPhone.

My new Mac doesn't recognize my iTunes Match account, asks me to register and pay again

I used to have a Mac laptop, using the paid service iTunes Match for less than a year.
My computer broke down, so I bought a new Mac,
when I log in with my account at the iTunes,

You need to log in to the iTunes Store with the exact same Apple ID you used to purchase the service.

I have 0 songs in my iCloud/iTunes Match account and it says exceeded limit. How do I fix?

Hard drive crashed and when I loaded my local songs back into iTunes it wouldn't recognize my library. So I deleted all songs from iCloud to start anew. Now it will not allow me to add anything into my iTunes Match account. I have deleted the library, loaded an empty one and then reloaded the songs after cleaning out iCloud of all playlists and songs. I am at wits end. Help.

Delete around 1,000 tracks so that the limit is reduced below 25k.
Hold shift key whilst turning off match. Close iTunes then reopen. Turn on match, you will be asked to add this computer, do so. The process may take sometime but if tracks had need previously matched or uploaded, the process will be quicker that a complete new scan.
Once scan has completed, check that the tracks have been matched, uploaded or purchased. Create a playlist based on iCloud status being matched or uploaded. This will tell you the total number of tracks that count towards the 25k. You can now think about readding the deleted tracks.
If you go over 25k non iTunes purchased track again, you can use the second library method to manage your main library. When you delete a track from the cloud it does not delete it from your computer. When you go back to your main library you will see the iCloud status as "Removed". Match will ignore in future scans.

I have just now tried the Reinstall via iTunes, about 20 into the download, the iTunes logo on the phone disappeared, and the Apple Logo appeared again,,, I waited until the iTunes stated that the download had finished, and the install was in progress,,,
Nothing happened, still the Apple Logo was visual on the screen, iTunes never recognised the phone which it was on my iTunes account previously,,,
Still just a bunch of lines, maybe 5 or 6 so small writing,, I personally can not read what it is telling me, someone said it reads, incorrect shutdown,,,????????

Multiple iTunes Match accounts (one per Windows profile)?

Forgive me if this subject had been covered before (I did have a quick dig), but is it possible to have seperate iTunes Match accounts, one per Windows profile (on the same box)?
Our Windows 7 system has multiple users and we don't want to merge music into one library just to get Match working. Is it the case that it's limited by MAC address / physical hardware? (I don't want to go down the route of having one network interface per windows profile either!)
If somebody from Apple reads this, are there any plans to support this future iTunes releases? It would bring you more revenue with a household willing to pay for more than one subscription...

You can authorize a single copy of iTunes to up to five iTunes Store accounts. So yes, you can have both your account and one for your daughter in the same system.

ITunes Match won't recognize computer after iTunes upgrade

I upgraded to the latest version of iTunes 11.1.4 and was prompted to sign into my Apple ID and iTunes Match indicated this this computer isn't associated with my Match account (even though this is the only computer I have) and I had to click Add Computer. Now it tries to start the match process but crashes everytime it tries to send information to Apple. This has happened 25 times - don't know what to do so now Match isn't active on the computer at all.
Please help!

You often get this message when match thinks that you already have a match in progess on another computer.
If you are happy that all your music is on your new hard drive (or if it is only in the cloud), you should select "this computer".
