2 Subscriptions to the same Country

Hello,
Ive read in the FAQ that it is possible to have more than one subscription to the same land.
Thats what Ive tried to do.
On 16th of July Ive purchased a 12 months subscription Brasil 400 min. Because I bought it for 12 months I get 520 min per month.
On 3rd of September I got a second subscription, because my credits of the first and up mentioned subscription were about to end.
I have not yet been able to use my credits of the second subscription.
Why not????

ok. Ive not realized that I should ve actually purchased a different amount of minutes, so I would be able to use those minutes right away. Thats what I actually wanted.
But I think I have another problem now.
Just to remind:

If I understood what u answered me, my second subscription should actually only be activated on 16th of August 2012 until 16th of September 2012 (only one month - cause I just cancelled it) and set for this period of one month: 400 min. Until 16th of August 2012, including now, I should have my 520 min/month back??? Or???

I bought the 400 min subscription to israel witch is which is the highest subscriptions to cell phones and landline.
i bought another subscription of 400 min just for landline in order to use this one just for landlines but apparently also for landline skype is using just my 400 min subscription of cell phone.
How can i change it?

Multiple subscription types to the same country

I have two existing subscriptions - one is unlimited calls to USA and canada- never a problem with that- BUT I also have family in Honduras and a couple of months ago started subscribing to the 120 minutes per month plan for honduras- its a lower price than I have been able to find anywhere. well I always go over the 120 minutes and eat into my regular skype balance- then this morning I was inquiring if I could just buy TWO subscriptions to Honduras (Two 120 minute) in my research I discovered this was possible and I went ahead and purchased a second subscription for Honduras. Later today my first subscription had been completely used and I thought the second subscription would kick in but it still took the money from my regular account- I went back and verified that my subscription appears to be in place but not sure WHY it was not used today-- do they all start on the same day? do I have to wait until next month to have the full benefit of two subscriptions? can you reply to my email maybe? thanks fd

Thanks for the response. While I do not dispute what is in the manual, this is not what I observed on my account. Perhaps, the system does not comply with the manual. A system defect perhaps? I would urge you to try it yourself. Here are the steps, if you want to try to reproduce:1. Buy the more expensive 'Mobiles & Landlines' subscription first. The country that I used was South Africa.2. Buy a 'Landlines only' subscription to the same country. Note that you will get a warning screen telling you that you are buying mulitple subscriptions to the same country. Choose to continue3. Make a landline call to that country4. View your account. Specifically look at the remaining minutes on your 'Mobiles & Landlines' subcription. There should be no decrease in minutes. If there was, we have ourselves a bug/defect. Anyway, I have cancelled my 'Mobiles and Landlines' subscriptions. Oh, by the way, I did notice that Skype rounds to the minute. So for a call lasting 4 minutes and 1 second, Skype will deduct a full 5 minutes from your subscription's minutes.

How can I solve the problem, that an album that I have given as a present via iTunes cannot be used outside my country of origine (I live in the same country as the person that has received the present)?

We are both living in the Netherlands, but the system doesn't allow her to download her gift, giving her back the error message "Only clients in Germany can use this voucher" - CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME?

She won't be able to redeem that gift unless she moves to Germany and has a German billing address on her account - all gifts are country-specific, they can only be redeemed on accounts that have the same country on them as the person sending them, and they need to be in that country to redeem it. As you are in Netherlands then you need to update your country and billing address (and payment method if you are using a German credit card) on your account to be your Netherlands address - a store's terms of use state that you need to be in the country to use its store. You can update the details on your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes

How do I merge multiple subscriptions to the same podcast?

In iTunes I have multiple subscriptions to the same identical podcast (same podcast name and same url) ... some of the subscriptions have duplicated entries and some have unique entries ... (how this happened I have no idea, but that is beside the point) ... my question is how do I merge these multiple subscriptions into a single podcast subscription? I have tried cut & paste in the hope that I could then delete (unsubscribe) to all of the redundant/repeated subscriptions, but that does not work ... in explorer I have found that ALL my podcast files from ALL my podcast subscriptions are found in a single folder .. so all the entries from my multiple subscriptions are there as well ... this smoked my hope that each podcast subscription would have it's own folder or sub-folder ... so I'm stuck ... does anyone know how I can merge multiple subscriptions to the same podcast into a single podcast subscription (without my losing the uniques scattered throuhout the mutiple subscriptions) ... ???

I would love to be able to do exactly what you are suggesting .. the problem is, if I delete the duplicate subscriptions, I lose the unique files unique to the duplicate subscription I delete ... the problem is that I can't find a way to save/move the uniques (in advance of deleting the duplicate subscription) into a single subscription ... is there a way to do this ??? Does anyone know how to do this ??? Please help !!!

HCM Absence types- need to display in different languages in the same country based on user language preference

We are implementing in Belgium where we need to have absence in both dutch and French for the different user sets. Is there anyway to set up one absence type but have the different translations for the different user groups. There was a document ID 1619320.1 that referred to the fact that if the absences were created by a seedfile then they would be translated. Has anyone come across this issue whereyou need to display the same absence type for more than one language in the same country and how did you do this or did you have to set up separate absence types in the different languages which I do not want to do

If you are using Captivate 4 multi languages is a
posibility..
Set a User Variable to pass the language you want to a Flash
SWF whic is embeded (This can play and hold multiple audio tracks).
For example Captivate 4 will pass "french" to the embeded flash SWF
which will play the "french" track.
OR
you could just use branching ;)

"VAT reg.no. already exists for country BE"

Disable roaming data not works (in the same country)

if disable roaming data and your carrier allows to connect to another carrier in the same country (for voice services) your iPhone continue to connect with the other carrier, even if you've disabled roaming data.
that needs to be fixed as soon as possible ...
i've spent a lot of money thinking that disable roaming data works also in the same country and not only abroad

They should then add this features, a lot of people are in the same boat ... and receive tremendous bill due to this lack of capabilities of iPhone to do not lock data connection only with the own carrier in the same country.
I know that there's the possibility to use only one carrier instead of setup in automatic mode the carrier, but, as said, many carriers all over the worls allow theis customers to connect to other carriers for free ONLY for voice BUT not for data ...

What does the description for the magazine and/or the magazine's website say ? Some allow you to download on more than one device, but some magazines/newspapers only allow you one download of each copy.

You can't, you can only send gifts to people in the same country as yourself (and whose account is in the same country as yourself), you can't send them to other countries. You could send them money (but not an iTunes gift card, they are also country-specific).

Do auto-renewing Newsstand subscriptions stay the same price?

I have taken out a few yearly subscriptions in Newsstand and they advise me that they are auto-renewing. I am ok with that as long as the subscriptions stay the same price. If the price suddenly jumps I wanted to be warned/asked. Does anyone know how this works?

There should be no change in price of the product itself. But contact the store and ask them.

Couldn't add you to the Family plan as your account needs to be based in the same country

I sent a Family plan invite to my wife's email address. After resting her password (perhaps she's not the one who made the account?) she tried to accept the invite by entering the token. She was told: We couldn't add you to the Family plan as your account needs to be based in the same country as the Family plan owner. We checked and both profiles show USA as the country. What's the hang up?

Can you check if the country of both accounts match? You can check this by going to the Account Overview page.
If one of the accounts doesn't match, then change it to the right country.

Two subcribtions to the same country

First off - thanks for a great communication solution. I use it almost every day.
2nd - It is to difficult to reach any kind of support when you have something that you don't find in the FAQ - to many steps and screens. And finally when you get there the chat function was down - so I had to post it here.
My problem/challenge with two subcriptions:
I have my skype account for calling one country where I do business because I live in another. Sometimes I have long teleconferences to landlines and for that I have bougth 400 minutes one year subscription (landline only). However from before I have a 120 min subsciption for both landline and mobile. Somehow Skype does not use the lowest rate subscription when calling a landline but it uses first my 120 min (which I intended for mobile communication only). What should I do?
I thought if I canceled the 120 mobile/landline monthly subscription and rebuy it (to reorder the sequence) - Skype would prefere the landline subscription over the other one when making a landline call, or isn't that the case?

Your account shows that you have used your full minutes allocation in your current billing cycle and your next minutes will be added to your account when your next billing cycle starts on June 24th 2015.
Renewing your monthly Subscription before your billing cycle ends has no effect on the date upon which your minutes allocation will be added to your account.
To continue calling until your next minutes allocation is applied to your account please purchase either a Subscription but with a different amount of minutes or Skype Credit.

I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac

I got a text like 10 minutes ago that my spotify premium was getting renewed, I didn't know my trial was ending so I right now just cancelled it on the same renew day, will I receive money back?

You won't get a refund automatically.
You'll need to contact support here. They will determine your elegibility for the refund.
If you receive an automated email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.
Support usually answers within 24-48 hours.

Is it necessary to buy an AppleCare Plan in the same country where you bought your Mac?

I'm from the Philippines, and obviously it's where I bought my "13 non-Retina MBP. I want to buy an APP for it, but the cost here in our country is kind of expensive on my part. While browsing in our local Mac forums, I came up with a link to a US store that sells much cheaper APPs: B&H Photo Video.
Is it valid to buy an APP in the US even if I bought my MBP locally here in the Philippines? Are there existing terms or conditions like these that apply when it comes to buying APPs? I'm paranoid of going through this route as maybe Apple would reject my intended APP registration, thus wasting my money in the process.
I'll try to email the store's sales support to see what I can come up with.

What kind of problems do you think would arise from buying an APP outside of my own country?
I've read the terms and conditions, and one obvious thing turned out is the refund policy. I'm not sure but the way I understand it is this: If I bought an APP in the US and my MBP is bought from my country (Philippines), I'm not entitled to a refund of my APP (in case I don't want it) because I bought it from the US, which is obviously I'm not a citizen of. Unlike if I bought it from Asia Pacific Region (Singapore governs the rules), I'm entitled to a refund because I'm from Asia.
But the obvious thing is I'm still entitled to hardware and service support because APP is international. I've also read a post here that a Japanese guy bought an APP from Amazon US because like my situation here, he found the APPs being sold in Japan too expensive. It's $249 in Apple Store while it's $179 in B & H. Representatives from B & H tolde me it's just fine, said it would be valid for my computer and in my country.
I'll see what I can come up with and I'll be posting on my experience.
