2 versions of CC2014 15.2.2 on my iMac...
I seem to have 2 version of PS CC 2014 15.2.2 on my iMac - it is very frustrating - sometimes one version will open and at other times the other one will - I can be working in PS and when I want to open something using Bridge it will open another version of PS CC 2014 15.2.2 - it can also happen within Lightroom. It is extremely frustrating... I don't know how to fix this problem. I did try uninstalling PS and restalling - it seemed to be okay for a day, but I'm back to the same issue. Any suggestions?

If so then please complete the steps in CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html to refresh the list of available applications.

HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Version 3.2.1 does not work on iMac 20-inch, Mid 2007. Only recognizes scanner not USB printer.
I would like to print via the USB connection instead of wireless (the wireless does work, and the scanner works via USB).
I tried connecting the printer directly (via USB) to my MacBook Pro laptop and it worked just fine.
How can I make this printer work on my iMac?
I spent 4 hours on the phone with HP and we did every combination of installation of drivers ad nausum and their bottom line is that it is a Mac problem.
Any help would be appreciated. Will be sending this printer back to Amazon if I can't make it work on the USB.
I am open to questions or suggestions

ChetAfter 4 hours on the phone with HP and another hour with Apple (Mavericks support) no real solution other than check everything (removed everything from Login Items, removed all HP software anywhere in the system reboot, reinstall printer) then when nothing worked for the 4500, did an OS Reinstall (boot with CMD+R).
The Mavericks support group did open an incident (# 542875311) and I will update it when I figure out how to find it on the system.
My feel is that the base problem is that somewhere between the HP-Inkjet-SW-OSX-Mavericks_v12.34.49-2 package and the Apple HP Printer software in the Library (version 2.16.1) the app for printing via the USP Port just does not get installed for the mid 2007 20 inch iMac. The scanner is recognized on the USB Port and the Printer works fine on Wi-Fi. I have too many devices to burden my home network with anothe device. Also, every time I put any HP Printer on Wi-Fi, my router (Netgear N600 WNDR3400 running 12 to 20 devices depending on who is home) gets wonky (but that's anothe story...).
Additionally, when I attach the HP Envy 4500 to my MacBook Pro (2010) it works perfect - print and scan via the USB prot and both functions show in the System Preferences - Printers and Scanners just as expected and just as the 3050 does.

I am straining badly to understand why Apple is only providing drivers for the 32-bit version of Windows 7 for the 64-bit hardware that I want to install it on.The 64 bit drivers are there, but there have been some installation
issues depending on Windows OS and Apple hardware. You may

FWIW, at one point, I forget when, I found I needed to manually
open the 64 bit versions of the drivers to install them that were created
on the bootcamp driver install disk (image). As I recall the was a
64 bit .msi "global" installer but even at that there was an individual
one that needed to be manually installed.
Its been a while since I last did this since I have been doing everything
in Windows virtual machines with Parallels. -
What version on Apple Hardware Test (AHT) does my iMac support?

CS3 windows version how can I run it on an iMAC
I want to upgrade my PC and I am thinking of getting an iMAC with 24" monitor but no one can tell me if I will be able to use my windows version of CS3. I have Lightroom and that seems to run in both platforms.

You certainly can't install Windows software directly on a Mac. If you
have Lightroom which runs on either platform its because you have
installers for both Mac and Windows software, which is not what you
get for all programs on the CS3 disks. With rare exceptions you would
need to buy ALL your software again, unless the vendor offers both
versions on one disk, or a way of upgrading between PC and Mac.
However, if the Mac is running Leopard, you can buy and install
Windows XP (full retail version, using a disk which came with a PC is
NOT allowed) and then boot up Windows in place of Mac OS X. Then you
can run CS3 for Windows, and any other of the Windows software you
don't want to buy.
I wouldn't personally recommend buying Vista instead.

Latest version of Flash Player doesn't work in Imac and Macbook Air 10.6.8
Flash Player is not working in my Imac nor in MBA, after installing and reinstalling latest version of FP many, TOO MANY times for the past week.
I haven't found any answer in the forums for Mac users.
I'm using Safari 5.1.9 and my OS is 10.6.8. Javascript is allowed under security tab.
The error I get in Youtube says that I need to install the latest FP version to play videos, then gives me the link to download FP. I also get error in other websites like Google maps, when I try to do a "street view" for example, and TV on demand.
Please Help! Should I revert to installing an older version? I wasn't having this problem until I updated to FP 11.8...

Mount the DMG and run the installer
If it won't run, go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plugins
Trash the Flash Player.plugin file from there
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Trash the Flash Player folder (the whole folder)
Empty the trash
Reboot
Mount the DMG and run the installer again. -
New version of iTunes won't open on my iMac
Newbie here. I checked my version of iTunes and it says it's current with version 10.6.3, of course there is 11.1.0 out now. So I download it. But won't open. Just like the latest Flash update, it downloads but I can't play the videos that prompted me to download it. Im sure you understand my frustration. Thnaks in advance guys.

Installing the combo will bring your software up to date > Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
Restart your Mac after the combo is installed.
iTunes should work but you may need to reinstall Flash > Adobe - Install Adobe Flash Player -
Where can i find Version Info for airport software, installed on my Imac
I graded up to Tiger , afterwards the Airport Software update 4.2 was not offered anymore in the Apples Software Update;
So i guessed that it somehow updated allthough i didnt want it.
But i am not quite sure what this Airport Software update 4.2 really means;
Airprt admin.utility version is 4.1.1 now. So i am not sure if the update 4.2 is done or not.
Where can i look up to find out which Airport software version is actually installed on my computer?

Here's how to get it.
o Download the disk image AirPortSW42.dmg. If the installer launches, quit the installer.
o Double-click the disk image to mount a volume named "AirPort 4.2 Update."
o Within the AirPort 4.2 Update window, ctrl-click on "AirPortSW.pkg."
o Select "Show Package Contents."
o Open the "Contents" folder.
o Double-click the "Archive.pax.gz" file, which causes an "Archive.pax" file and an "Archive" folder to be extracted to the desktop.
o Open the "Archive" folder, the "Applications" folder within it, and the "Utilities" folder within that.
o Both the AirPort Admin Utility and AirPort Setup Assistant are in there. You can move either or both to Applications/Utilities and discard everything else that was downloaded. -

IPad (1) version 4.3.2 won't sync with iMac
My iPad running 4.3.2 wont sync with iTunes version 10.5 on my iMac version 10.7.2. wont sync or recognizre the device. I am trying to bring it up to iOS 5.
I tried the troubleshooting routine & restarting both devices etc the change of USB slots the cable functions fine qith all my other iOS devices.
I am in India so I cant go setup an appointment with a genius at an apple store. Express lane keeps me on hold for easily 25 mins, not sure of what I should do.
If anyone could help me out or if anyone has faced similar issues and done something to resolve it. Please let me know.
