2 versions of windows 7 HP 32 bit running on same PC (1 pre sp1,1sp1). How to remove pre sp1?

After much trial and error of internet information I was finally able to load Windows 7, 32 bit, SP1. To my surprise upon reboot there is the option to boot to pre-sp1 or sp1. How can I remove Pre-SP1 or at least delete the option so it always boots SP1?

Hi,
According to your description, seems you have a dual-boot system, systems installed in different partitions. Are both system able to start successfully? If the Pre-SP1 is the first system installed in your PC, then the boot information for both
systems will be stored in Pre-SP1, simply remove Pre-SP1 will cause another system unbootable.
If Pre-SP1 is not the primary boot system, then you can remove the system by formating the partition where it stored in, then delete the item from the boot menu, I'd like to share a guide with you as convenience:
