What OS version are you running it on?
The answers to those questions can be useful in giving you specific instructions.
For general discussion, the answer is yes.
Now, how do you want to display the two Videos, such as side-by-side, with each taking up 1/2 of the Frame, or in some other configuration?
Basically, what you are talking about is PiP (Picture in Picture), but exactly how you will need to set things up will be dictated by the version of PrE, and then exactly how you want those two Videos to display.

To add a side-by-side clip:
Make sure Advanced Tools are turned on.
Open the project you want to add the side-by-side clip to so that it’s showing in the Project browser.

@Tylerdowner: hmm.. maybe yes.. I just want to use the DOWNTHEMALL AddsOn for the saving file not the default download.. because my costumer download MP3 files and save it 3 or more files at a time so my Internet Connection goes down :( so I just want to limit them to save 1 file at a time.
or if there is another way to limit it to 1.. please tell me :(

Why won't my videos play once transferred to an external hard drive?

I have a Seagate Backup Plus Portable Hard Drive. Once I transfer a video onto it, it will no longer play. Quicktime opens and plays the length of the video but there is no video. The files are .MOV. Even when I copy them back onto the desktop, they still do not work. Suggestions?

Deleting the uncompressed video file once m2v and aif have been created

When I create a dvd then close the project.
I then later delete the uncompressed video file captured from tape.
I reopen DVD studio pro and it tells me that it cannot find original file.
I tell it to used m2v encoded file as new video file and aif encoded file as new audio file.
But i am then given an error message and these two files disapear.
Can anyone help me out. Surely i should not have to keep the original captured video file for every dvd I want to make. The idea surely is that once DVD studio pro has made m2v and aif files then the project should be able to use those to create any further DVD of that project.

I've still never seen any problems with a single video track and uncompressed audio.
I won't argue that it never happens to anybody, of course, but I've made DVDs for a lot of people, and usually the only problems I hear tend to be a problem with their brand of player not being able to recognize the media. Those are relatively rare and almost always has to do with cheaper brands of DVD players. If they can get it to start at all, I haven't heard of any trouble with playing the whole thing.
I would like to know if that's the problem I had with trying multiple video tracks, though. DVDSP would refuse to even finish the build. It would start to mux, then partway through, say the bitrate was too high and abort. It was a long time ago, but I would've been using uncompressed audio and probably fairly high bitrate video (3.2Mbps, possibly even 3.5). Seemed stupid to me; I would've thought the muxing would be a smart enough design so that only the video and audio tracks in use at any given time (one video, one audio, one subtitle) would count toward your maximum allowed bitrate.
But that brings up another point you guys might try. I heard people mention 3.5Mbps. I use 3.2, and I don't see any noticeable difference in the quality of the video. But switching from uncompressed audio to ac3 definitely is a noticeable (downward) difference, at least using the stock Dolby 2.0 encoding preset included in DVDSP4 / Compressor 2 and a standard stereo (2-channel) source. I did several different tests where I encoded the audio both ways and burned a test DVD with multiple audio tracks, switching between them to compare. Even normal conversations on the ac3 (Dolby 2.0) track sounded quieter and less dynamic, and there was (naturally) an even more noticeable difference in any kind of music.
So you might give that combination (3.2Mbps video with uncompressed audio) a try in the future, especially if you're picky about the audio. If that fixes the problem, I think it's a reasonable sacrifice since the audio difference is more severe. Basically, if you're doing a professional enough job that the difference in video between 3.5Mbps and 3.2Mbps is important, then you should already be doing a professional 5.1 audio encoding from individual channels anyway.
BTW, I have my 3.2Mbps labeled "120min", since that's about what I can fit on a DVD with uncompressed audio. My other often-used settings are 2.8Mpbs for 135min (three hour-long TV episodes with commercials cut out), and 2.0Mpbs for 170min. (And I can't remember for sure, but the 170min may even be a slight overestimate, so be careful of cutting it too close if you use those settings.) I usually don't even notice a video quality difference with 2.8Mpbs, though I have only used that with a less-than-pristine source anyway, so the lower bitrate isn't the bottleneck for quality in that case.

The thing is that I have a bunch (about 800) of .SWF videos and i need to include in each one of theme a Starting and an Ending scene, I guess i could create an aggretor file but i don't know if it is possible to perform this in a batch editing way, instead of doing it one by one.

I see this is your first post so please forgive me if I'm seeming redundant. We see our fair share of misplaced folks in the forums.
Are these videos something you created using Adobe Captivate? What is their ultimate goal? You mention wanting a standard beginning and end, so this is suggestive that you may be copying these to the web or burning to DVD.
I'm trying to ascertain if you are even in the right forum location for assistance.

Can two ATV's receive same video at once?

Hey gang-
We have an Apple TV 2 in one room and thinking of adding another in a different room. I was wondering if two Apple TV 2's can receive the same video stream from iTunes at the same time? In other words, playing the same movie or TV show from iTunes on my desktop Mac on both Apple TVs at the same time.

Yes but perhaps not in the way you are intending.
iTunes can only stream to one Apple TV at a time, but multiple Apple TVs can stream from iTunes at the same time (including the same content). Streaming from the Apple TVs requires initiation from the Apple TV, therefore it would be quite difficult to syncronize the streams.

Only a small number of photos can be exported to video at once

I cannot export a large number (300+) of pictures from slideshow to video. The exported file is quite large but no images appear when opening the file with quicktime. I'm using an iMac with 4 gig memory; my pictures are large and in dng format.
I've managed to make exports of 20 and 30 pictures, and will continue to increase the number to discover the threshold. Has anyone else experienced such a condition?

I have tried exporting 30 photos in LR3 as a Music Slideshow Video. The reulting mp4 file comes up in the target destination but when it plays the video the music breaks up and the transitions are very jagged. I have tried different size frames and various pixel sizes. I have Windows Vista and 2Gb of RAM and a1.8 Gig Core 2 Duo Processor.

Video that once worked now is white screens w/sound

i have played the videos from my digital camera before and they worked fine. Since itunes upgraded quick time,they are not working. Even pulling up the same videos i watched just a few weeks ago, the files no longer work. I get white screens with yellow/blue dots and sound. I'm very frustrated that i can no longer see my daughter.

I also have developed the same problem. i tried purchasing quicktime pro, then tried re-installing but to no avail. i noticed that if i go into the av settings and slightly move the brightness curser from center, i would get a picture, but it was juddering. I then went into quicktime preferences,advanced, and switched video to safe mode(gdi). I then could watch all video files, but at a much lower quality. I have even tried updating to the latest version of DirectX, but still no good. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.........

I am building a rich media ad unit in Edge Animate that his an expandable video component. I added a close button in edge, which closes the expanded video. However the audio from the video continues to play in the background. Can you please assist?

Change info for multiple videos at once

I am a mac newb, just got my mac book pro and am trying to learn and get things set up. I have my media on a NAS (Qnap 451) and have added my existing videos to my library (without copying them locally to my library), and of course they show up as home videos. I know how you are supposed to change the
info for multiple files, I select them all and choose get info and change the options tab to Movie. When I do that nothing happens at all, I can do the files one at a time and they change fine, but if I even select just two files it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Well an update in case any one else had this issue. I don't know why but it only works if I choose Movie, then before choosing OK I switch to a different tab like the artwork tab and then back to the options tab. No idea why that would have any effect on it.

How did I lose all my iTunes video content once activating iCloud?

I recently logged into iCloud after having ignored it for a year. Now all my video content is gone on all devices. I recently had to change my email login which may explain it but all devices are now on the same email login and still no content. Any ideas?

Did you make a completely new AppleID (which would explain why you lost content because you shouldn't), or did you just change your e-mail addresss in your AppleID used to purchase the content (which you can do)?
