1. Anyone have the occasional corrupted JPG as generated by the Web module? I've had a couple.
2. Generating web sites results in 3 folders in the "images" folder: large, small, thumbs. Flash sites use all three but, as far as I can tell, the HTML sites ignore the "small" JPG folder. I'll just toss it -- unless I'm missing something here.

2. You're not.
You can actually edit out the line in sizes that refers to size="small" if you can access the galleryMaker.xml inside the jardine_pro gallery embbeded in the application contents on Mac and inside the Web module dll on PC.

Eagle eyes web not working iOS 6

i updated my iphone 3g to ios 6, i have a problem because eagle eyes web not working, appear message that push video is not compatible

I would do as what Diavovex suggested:
Settings >>> General >>> Reset >>> Reset all Settings.
Once you have completed this, ipad will reboot, connect again to your Wi-Fi and then try to Reset imessage again. Just make sure your Apple ID and password are ok ...... try log in to Apple Store and if this is not an issue then I don't see why imessage cannot connect?

Well I just fixed this, by sheer luck.
I did a restart of my MacBook Pro, and after it restarted iCloud was visible and accessible in Finder.
It seems all that it needs is a system restart.

Excel 2013 Data From Web not working with SharePoint 2013?

In Excel 2013, on the ribbon select the 'Data' tab and 'From Web' to import data from a web page. Navigate to a SharePoint 2013 site with a table on the home page and you will not see the table import arrow on the table. With SharePoint 2010 you would have.
Any suggestions on a workaround/fix?
One thing to note, in SharePoint 2013 be sure to disable the Minimum Download Strategy feature on the site or you will get script errors in the New Web Query dialog.
Also, I realize this may belong in an Office/Excel forum so I have posted it there also.

According to your description, my understanding is that the Excel table import arrow disappears in the SharePoint 2013 page.
For your issue , I can reproduce your scenario in my SharePoint 2013 environment. It should be caused by the Excel Data connection from web page feature cannot identify the page layout which is
used by SharePoint 2013 . For a workaround, you export the HTML table using jQuery:

Color management in Save for Web not working

The Save for Web dialog box in the CS6 Beta is ignoring color profiles, so color is not managed. This has not been a problem in previous versions.

The saved output is just fine. I was referring to the images in the Save for Web dialogue
I just checked my settings. CS6 apparently changed my Preview setting from "Use Document Profile" to "Monitor Color." It also changed my Metadata setting. It should not do that!
Restoring the correct Preview setting solved the color management problem, but ONLY for the Preview image. The Original image is still not color managed.
I'm on a wide-gamut monitor, so sRGB images come out looking garish if there's no color profile embedded or it's ignored. That's what's happening here with the Original image in Save for Web. I imported an sRGB image with profile embedded, and it looks just fine in Photoshop while editing. Then I went to Save for Web, with the settings Embed Color Profile, Convert to sRGB, and Preview: Use Document Profile. The JPEG preview too looks just fine with these settings, but the Original looks garish, showing a lack of color management. The color in the two views is showing as completely different, though they both represent the same image with the same color profile embedded.
Going back to CS5, the same image is properly color managed in both Original and Preview. Both images show identical color, as they should.

Slices in Save for Web not highlighting when selected in Photoshop CS5.5

Lately I've just noticed when I select slices in Save for Web the newly selected areas do not highlight in their normal yellow colour. They are however selected and save correctly if I do save them. If I toggle slice visibility off and back on again they selected slices become highlighted but it's kind of a pain. Have I done something to cause this or is this a known issue with one of the updates?

LCM in SAP BO 4.0 Webi not using new Universe version

Hi I am trying to use LCM in SAP BusinessObjects 4.0 sp5. After moving a universe from a development server to a production server using LCM (promotion management) everything seems to work as advertised: connections stay the same on my production box, security stays the same, and I see the change when I import the changed universe on production into universe designer. However, in order to see the change in an existing WEBi report or a new WEBi report that uses the universe, I have to export the universe again to the production server from universe designer in order to see the change in WEBi. Note that I had tried first logging completely out of BI Launchpad and logging back in, but that didn't help. Any ideas?

After promoting universe from one env to another one import/export is needed to see all the changes in webi built on that.

Share Web Not working

I click the start button, becomes gray and says startig web sharing but it never starts. What can be wrong? If I close the control panel and open it again, it remains off.

Hi: This is the message I've got after restarting

The other question: I've never use it before. I was trying to test a PHP script locally and it did not work (first time I was trying to do so). Then I found out that I had to start the apache services and used this app (http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/) with not results. Then I tried to go back and I've deleted the folder they ask if I want to get rid of it but I could not delete the +entropy-php.conf file.

"Save For Web" not remembering save folder

Hi Guys,
I'm using the save for web function to save a large number of files (not batch saving).
Usually, when I open a file and start saving for web, it will remember the folder that I most recently exported to, and by default open that folder for that file, until I "save for web" into a different folder.
Out of seemingly nowhere, the save for web seemed to "forget" this folder (and any other folder I tried to save to), and now defaults to the "Documents" folder, causeing me have to click through to find my intended destination folder.
Any ideas? Google was not a help on this one, I can't seem to find anyone with a similar issue.
I'm on CS5 & Mac running Mountain Lion. On my work computer (exactly the same, Mac + Mountain Lion) I am using CS6 and have not encountered this issue.

You may try the following (you may have tried/done some of them already) and see whether it helps (the following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file; 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences):
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy);
If nothing else helps, even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

"Cannot open document. (Error: INF) Deski docs in WEBI not opening

Our users are receiving the following error within WEBI when oppening DESKI documents. "Cannot open document. (Error: INF). WEBI files open fine, DESKI files do not.
I want to break something.
Any ideas? Many thanks

We are also having the same issue - personal (i.e. my favorite) Webi documents saved prior to today cause the error: Value Cannot be Null (Error:INF). New Webi documents or documents in the corporate repository are functioning properly.
Any ideas on how to fix issue is greatly appreciated.

Quickcam Web not working

Hello together!
Since qc-usb was replaced with gspca I have troubles with my Webcam. It's a Quickcam Web (more precisely: LEGO cam) 046d:0850 and it used to work with qc-usb. It's also listed as a supported one in the gspca files.
It is correctly recognized when plugged in:

My first tests on a 2.6.29 kernel months ago resulted in a Kernel Panic, with 2.6.32 it's not working "only"...

Thank you very much. Your link (and another google search which taught me about guvcview) helped me.
After I unplugged my USB keyboard and mouse (two different devices) from my computer (no hub!) the cam started to work (note: I'm using a laptop). I'm very surprised by this behavior.
Now I need to find a solution for this bandwidth problem, because without full keyboard and mouse chatting is not very comfortable (and that's the sole purpose of this cam)
EDIT: Well... unplugging one of the two devices (keyboard, mouse) seems to be sufficient... perhaps I should learn to live without a real mouse (that's easier than without a real keyboard)

CS4 Save For Web not the right size

I'm having problems with Illustrator images when I use the Save For Web. The image size always comes out the same size as my artboard. In other words I set up a new document to be letter size, create my drawing within that document. My drawing is only about 300 px by 150 px. When I Save for Web my image is the same size as the document or artboard not my drawing. Is this something new in CS4? Do I have a preference set incorrectly? The only way I have found to get rid of the background is to adjust the size of the artboard manually. Is there a way to adjust the artboard to fit my drawing automatically, like cropping to an object in Photoshop?

We have a few queries which can be viewed thru our internal Web page. These are links to the actual queries on the BW BEx PRD server. These links were good sometime back. Now when we click them, we can see the URL blinking, trying to connect. But it doesn't.
Infact, when I try to 'display the query on Web' from the Query Designer, the same thing is happening. But the same queries display on web in QA. We have 3.0B/3.5
I'm not sure what is changed in PRD. Any help is greatly appreciated.

VCs in Web: not showing (same file name)

Virual copies with the same file name don't show up when creating web pages. How can you show variations of the same image (ie, color and B&W) with this nameing issue?

Are you sure you are selecting them properly. To include VCs in a Web Site you need to select all the ones you want individually. Selecting the Master one in a closed stack (which may or amy not be the original) does not select all of the stack. TO select all or some of the stack it must be open by pressing 's' or by clicking at the side of the stack to open the stack.
If you then make your selections they will appear in the Web Template.
At the top of the Metadata section on the right in Library, under the Filename is where you can provide individual naming for the VCs.

Prompt in webi not showing all the values

I have created a universe based on a BI query.in the BI query there is a variable for the profit center which has been used in the characteristic restrictions.When i create a webi report based on this universe,the prompt for the profit center is showing only 1 value.It is not showing the rest of the values.Pls help.

1. Try to check at BI query level whether values are there for profit center column or not.
2. Try to do what susney said. If it doesn't work follow 3.
3. In universe level go to the profit center object on which you created prompt-> click on object properties -> properties -> edit list of lovs -> then a query panel appers to you -> run and check whether all the values appering to that object ot not.
4. If all the values appering then check whether any filters are applied to profit center object in universe level/report level.
