20:00 until full charge?

I bought a battery from eBay about a month ago and it has worked great. Today, I was using my MacBook and it said 20:00 until full charge and was stuck at 68-69% charge according to the MacBook. I have taken out the battery and reinstalled it and have let it die and charged it again until the charger LED was green. Still, it says 20:00 until full. Is this a power adapter problem or a battery problem? Thanks!
It runs off the battery when I unplug the power adapter and gains charge, but something is wrong.

Could you please tell me how you fixed this issue?
I am having the exact same problem (20:00 until full charge), but my battery is stuck at 7%, which means if I unplug my macbook will die out quicker...

  • Time until full keeps increasing on charge.

I've just replaced my dying Macbook battery with a 3rd party Anker battery. It came half charged and seems to work fine but when I started charging it, the charge% goes up slowly but the Time until Full increases as well. So before it was at 50-something% and "1:30 until full". Now it's at 86% and "2:01" until full.
Do I need to worry? Calibrate? Is the battery a dud?
    Thanks!

  • Why my iPod Shuffle 3rd won't charge until full (green light on)?

I have new iPod Shuffle 3rd gen, My problem is my iPod won't full charge, I was tried to connect my iPod into my MacBook Pro more than 12 hours and I hope the green light (full charge) will be on. but the result still the same.
I tried to hear via voice over and said that battery only 75%
Any body have the some problem? and how to fix it?

maybe you can control the room temperature.... i try to charge iPod shuffle beside the mini fan, so heat from shuffle can blown away... or maybe, you can charge the iPod in Air Conditioned room....
i think this device have a mechanism to cut off the charging process if device temperature too hot. such a safety system so this ipod won't burn out when overcharging.
i hope it can help you...
    and trust me IT WORKS....

  • My iPhone 4 is only 14 months old over dropped very well looke after, one day the lock button stops then the volume buttons, now the headphone port does not work and the battery lasts about 4 hours after full charge I still have a year left on my contract

My phone is 2 months out of warranty, it's never been dropped or miss used yet the past week every day something has gone wrong with it. First the lock button stopped then the side volume buttons. Then the head phone port when I putt headphones in the phone turns the volume
Down automatically and it won't turn up until I take my headphones back out. The battery lasts 4 hours max after a full charge and today I took my phone off the docking charger and all my music has gone! The phone is breaking down more and more everyday what is going on! I know people who have had there iPhones years an non of this happen! I still have a year left on my contract too!

Who is your carrier and what is your coverage with them? If you are with say Verizon, and have Total Equipment Coverage or Extended Coverage, they will swap it out for you under Manufacturer Warrantee.

  • 5G iPod no audio after full charge

I have a new 5th gen ipod and having problems with the audio playing after charging the unit.
I leave the ipod connected to the USB cable overnight, but when I go to use it later in the day, trying to play songs or podcasts, there is no audio! This has happened about every time I've charged it. All menu navigation and selection of things to play works fine, but there is no audio to be heard. Song, podcasts, videos, no audio for any of them. The timer ticks as it plays, the status bar shows it proceeding thru the play, but no audio.
I don't know yet if it's related to charging but it seems to occur after a charge. I have to soft-reset to get it to work again. Then it works fine until the next time I charge it. This is getting really annoying. I have updated the software on the ipod to the latest available. I have the latest iTunes.
One day after soft-reseting and then playing audio ok, I went to use it a few hours later (no charge inbetween) and it wouldn't play audio again. This time I also had a terrible time trying to soft-reset it, it wouldn't! I pressed the center select and top menu positions on the thumbwheel and it wouldn't go, try after try! After about 5 minutes of trying it finally did.
I have an iSkin eVo case on my ipod. I don't know if this would affect it but I also left the single sheet sticky plastic on the face of the ipod that came from Apple. Once the audio starts working, it works fine. No problems selecting, navigating, changing volume, moving the play-head forwards, back, etc.
Anyone else have this issue? I'm about to take it in for repair/exchange.
    G4 Dual-533 Mac OS X (10.4.5) ipod 5th generation (video)

Well, I spoke too soon... two days of using the ipod and it worked fine, BUT I realized I didn't leave it charging over night. Third night I had it on all night so a full charge and once again it didn't play audio in the morning. I shows that it's playing, the time for the song/podcast changes, the play symbol is on (not pause) but no audio. I have to reset the ipod and then it works fine. Then later in the day I try to play it and it won't even play! Menu navigation works but I click on the play button and it won't change the play time.
So I'm back to square one! This ipod has a problem!
Any ideas? I'm ready to take it in to the Apple store before the warrantee runs out.

  • Calculating until full - forever it seems

    Hi there,
I looked through the questions and did not see this one, so my apologies if i am asking something someone has already asked.
About an hour ago I turned on my iBook G4 and it told me the battery needed to charge (light went amber) it had been off, but plugged in.
It was not being used while unplugged from the power charger so I wasn't sure why the battery needed to charge. As well, it said it needed 15 minutes to charge, but has been set on "Calculating until Full" now for about 40 minutes. The light is still amber.
This seems strange to me? I haven't had this happen before. Any ideas what I can do?
    Thanks

You might try resetting the PMU - power management unit.

  • How would I stop full charge alerts on my iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1.1

Nightly when charging my phone it continuesly alerts me it has reached a full charge until it is unplugged. How can I stop this alert?

If you are using a third party app such as Battery Doctor, you need to visit the settings of BD to remove it. For BD, you need to click on the four square icon on the upper right, then Settings, Charge notification and flip the switches to off.

  • My iphone 4s automatically getting turned off (blank black screen) and not getting started until full battery discharge, after updating to ios 8.0.1

My iphone 4s automatically getting turned off (blank black screen) and not getting started until full battery discharge. Even on long pressing power button - screen doesn't showing anything - not even "needs charging logo".
This is happening only since I have updated to new ios version (ios 8.1).
Is there anyone facing similar issue?? Any suggestion?!?

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like your iPhone screen is going blank and not responding.

Home button + power button for 15sec - 1min until you see apple Logo.
Release buttons, breathe a sigh of relief.

When I turn iPad on I get a box that says Not Enough Storage and neither the Closeor Settings buttons do anything. The iPad turns off on its own. It is full charged.

    Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up

  • Calculating...Until Full?????

I just came up to turn on my iBook and the charging light is orange. I leave it plugged in all the time so I know it didn't need to charge. I checked the charging status and it says "Calculating...Until Full" but the charge percent is 100%. I unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in. When I plugged it back in it said it was "Calculating...Until Full" again then after about 15 seconds it went green and said charged, but now it's back to saying "Calculating...Until Full". Can anyone let me know what's going on with it? Should I unplug it and let the battery run down and see if that fixes the problem?

This happens to me sometimes, too. It's nothing to worry about. In a few minutes, the light will go back to green and you'll be back to full charge again.

My I Phone 5 just went completely dead....it had a pretty full charge..
What happened and how do I fix it?  It is only three months old

Restart device: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).

  • Won't hold full charge

I got the new mini Ipod that I got back in March of this year. Since March I've been listening to about an hour of music a day, maybe two. Now when I give it a charge say about six hours it charges to full but the next day I notice the charge indicator reads 3/4 charge. This is without listening to any music since the charge. Any clues to why it's not holding a full charge?

    maybe but
    most likely no
if you have many apps running and using data and localization at the same time yes maybe
but batteries get worse and worse and worse over time until they die a software reset will not change that

  • Why is a monthly full charge cycle good for ipad2? And how do I do it?

Hi. My iPad 2 is nearly a month old and is due for a full cycle charge. Is it full cycle charging in a month good for the iPad? And how do I do it exactly?

I performed this religiously for the first 8 or 9 months that I had my iPad. Now I do it maybe every two months. My battery indicator seems to be as accurate today as it was 15 months ago when I first got my iPad. I still get a minimum of 10 hours a day from a full charge and the indicator appears to be extremely accurate.
After a full 100% charge, run the iPad down until it shuts off on it's own. The iPad will warn you that you are getting low on battery power a couple of times until it shuts off. Plug it in to charge it - but don't expect to see a reaction for at least 10 minutes - it could be sooner - but don't be alarmed if it takes at least several minutes before you see the charging indicator on the screen.
