20" cinema Aluminium, totally and utterly dead

PSU is working just fine. The screen will not turn over, unresponsive to touch controls and no LED status light on this.
Im thinking display board, unless anyone can help out with a suggestion?
Also, does anyone know if the 23" ACD display board is compatible with a 20"?

I think you're right. Check the brick first. If not, one of the boards is dead. The voltage regulators on the main board are famous for failing due to heat fatigue. You can't get parts for it. You could try to take it to an Apple store for diagnosis. The most cost effective option is to buy a non Apple replacement monitor. I loved mine but I just don't trust Apple quality in their monitors and I don't want the mini displayport hassles (like the old ACD connector.)

Completely and utterly dead?

About a month ago, my PB G4's cord stopped working properly--it was only today that the new one arrived. Maybe I should have shut the PB G4 down properly, but I didn't think and I allowed it to die. Today I plugged in the new cord--a third party adapter, so no helpful lights--but the cord and the area it plugs into on the computer feel warm to the touch after a little while, so I know electricity is at least moving around. However... Absolutely nothing happens. No response if I press to power button. No response if I press shift + control + power button, no response when I press the battery button on the bottom--it doesn't do anything but behave like a brick. I also tried removing and putting the battery back in again (no way I can afford a new battery).
This particular computer used to overheat sometimes--but it had not done it in a while--so I'm concerned about just leaving it to charge for a long time and trying again.
Suggestions? No way it's just dead like that, right?

I had the same problem after updating Flash to version 13 today.
From the Adobe Flash website I had to first find the uninstaller and uninstall Flash then I restarted my computer.
Then I went back to the Adobe Flash website and found the previous version of Flash (11.7) in the archive section and installed that and now Flash is working again (although I've gotten a couple of error messages I had to ignore for it to work).

Phone line and broadband dead, tearing my hair out...

Can a mod help here please. My phone line went dead yesterday, just as my neighbour had a fault fixed. This is not the first time this has happened. Spoke to 3 different people in India on 3 separate occasions last night, but unable to get any sense out of them. One promised to call back but never did. Another insisted on changing my BT Internet password for some reason. Completely and utterly useless. I eventually spoke to someone who described himself as a senior supervisor who promised to look into the matter of speeding up an engineers visit (been told Tuesday which is just redicuous) and said he would call immediately after he arrived for work at 11.00 am UK time. Still waiting!

Mate, I used to work in the Call Centre for BT (Repair) then out in the field as an Engineer for some time.
What they told you is basically **bleep**, they're fobbing you off. For a start the majority of Exchanges aren't manned. Engineers just come/go when they need to run a frames jumper or change/alter the switching.
Even then the exchanges that are manned are certainly not by anyone who can prioritise your fault repair.

ALV Grid Control - Modifiy data in total and subtotal lines

Hello all,
I´am creating a report using ALV Grid Control. This report calculates (using delivered and returned materials) for each vendor/material-combination the return quote.
Using the totals and subtotals function for different characteristics I want to calculate the return quote for the selected characteristic. Example:
Material delivered returned quote
..4711 . . . 500 . . . 5 . . . . 1 (=returned*100/delivered)
..4711 . . . 400 . . . 10 . . . . 2,5
. SUM . . . 900 . . . 15 . . . . 3,5 <-- 3,5 is the sum but I want display the calculated value 1,667
Is there a possibility to modify data in the total and subtotal lines.

Calculating Percent totals and Averages in SSRS

Below is a report created using SSRS. I want to be able to calculate the percentage(%) total to add up to 100 % in the Total column. For some reason my averages are not working as you can see from the table. The idea is to calculate the averages of opportunities
as well as Sold. But from my calculation, things are not adding up as I supposed. This report is not grouped by parent. How do I make this to work as it should? Thank you.

According to the description, I doubt you may manually add Total and Averages columns. Did you manually add Local and International or they were in a column group?
You can use the following expression for the Opportunity Cost(averages) column in the total row:
=Sum(Fields!opportunitycost.Value)/2
How did you calculate the percentage column? If it is Sold value divided by Opportunity Cost value, use:
=Sum(Fields!sold.Value)/Sum(Fields!opportunitycost.Value)
Also try to define the scope in the expression and see if it make difference.
If there is no progress, please capture the screenshot of your design tab.(Click on the report and capture the image of your report structure)
Also, tell us the expression of the text box which in problem.

Field over flow can not display the total and subtotal in ALV

hi
i am running a z report with huge data in quality system.
in 2 columns and not able to show the total and subtotal in 2 columns
it says field overflow and cannot be dispayed.
value is around 20character integer.

You can create a domains with 20 positions and 2 decimal, for example.
Than, associate this domain a data element.
To finish assign that data element to the column you wanna sum.

Alv - sub totals and avg

I have a problem, please help me out.
Iam doing an report program with alv display. In that iam calculating the AVG for the workcenter wise for the field TAT.
please observe my below o/p in general ALv format.
work center-- TAT- Tat(Yes/no)
qm0010------ 1 -- yes

qm0010------ 4 -- yes
qm0010------ 7 -- No (because >5)
Subtotal(qm0010)--3 (avg caluculated)

this is the rough o/p iam getting . this is acheived by programming the Field catalog for TAT field i.e... do_sum = 'C'.
then giving the sort table to REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
Now my problem is:
I want the avg to be calcuted by the business formula which is:
avg = sum of(TAT within 5 days) / total no of the entries .
Ex:
work center-- TAT- Tat(Yes/no)
qm0010------ 1 -- yes
qm0010-------2 -- yes
qm0010------ 4 -- yes
qm0010------ 7 -- No (because >5)

Please understand the problem and give me(please directly dont suggest any programs , since iam not a expert to understand)..

Hi Chaitanya,
You can display in your report with totals and sub-totals using alv, but not average. That functionality has not provided by sap. Do one thing add one more extra column Average in your output, do the calculation for average and pass the value in the coding itself. Then last display your report with Average field.

I've understood it, I wanted to use OO Grid too, but I had to use the ALV list in order to write my total.
If you need to use OO grid u can try to exclude all funcitonalities for the total, subtotal and sorting and insert in the output table the lines with your totals.

Total and Line Item dataload (1 or 2 datasources)

Hi all,
When realignment happens on R/3 it does not update line items, only totals.
If you have been loading line items in BW how to you get the new "totals" when realignment happens? I read the notes that state COPA will decide what table to read when loading (most appropriate).
Do you need to create 2 datasources (1 for line item and 1 for totals) or does the system know (even when your loading line items) to update totals and read appropriate table?

I have a COPA extractor that has line items selected in addition to totals.
When a realignment happens in R/3 I understand that it updates totals, but not line items.
When I load to BW I have a COPA ODS that I am leaving line item information in. Then updating "totals" to the InfoCube.
So I am not sure if the "totals" is getting updated after realignment because I have line item char's selected also in my datasource.
Do I need to worry about this, or simply when a realignment happens all I have to do is re-init and the "totals" will be updated to BW.
This is why I was asking if I should have 2 COPA datsources, 1 for line item the other for just totals (not selecting any line item char's). Then just update the line item extractor to ODS and update total extractor to InfoCube.
