"20 most recent events" does not transfer the 20 most recent events

I've always used "sync 20 most recent events" for uploading photos to my iPhone.
Recently I've noticed that the 20 events on my iPhone are not the 20 most recent events. Instead, there are 20 events with certain events missing.
If I look at my events in iPhoto going back in time and compare them with the events on my iPhone, the 6 most recent events are missing completely, then there is an event, then there are missing 2 events, etc.
I upgraded from iPhoto '08 to '09 about 3 weeks ago, but I don't see any link with the missing events. I.e. certain events from before the upgrade are missing and certain from after the upgrade.
I couldn't find this problem already reported in this forum.
What I tried so far, every time without success:
- in iTunes I selected to NOT sync photos to my iPhone and to remove all existing photos from my iPhone, and after syncing all photos were STILL on my iPhone
- I deleted the "iPod Photo Cache" folder and when syncing again the exact same events were transferred to my iPhone
Any ideas of how I could fix this and get the 20 most recents events to my iPhone?

FYI ... one other issue I have noticed in my iPhoto. Not sure if the two are related, though.

You may be able to default to DOC, but have not tried same.

I adjusted the height of the thumbnails. Still no exclamation points or question marks as noted here.

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the iTunes Library.itl file in the moved iTunes folder.

If you put it in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)

Go to Settings>Privacy>Photos. See if you need to allow Facebook access to the photos app. Also look at the Facebook setting under Twitter and see if there is a setting in there that you need to enable. Finally go to Settings>General>Restrictions>Privacy>Facebook and make sure that it hasn't been disabled in there.

What happens if OD Master does not contain the most up-to-date information than the OD Replica

I have a Mac OS X Server v10.6 OD Master on a VMWare Fusion virtual machine and an OD Replica on a Parallels Bare Metal instance. One evening the volume containing the OD Master virtual machine just unmounted itself, when I manually remounted it Fusion now refuses to start the OD Master virtual machine so my only recourse was to restore the VM from an earlier snapshot. The OD Replica in the meantime was running smoothly containing an up-to-date LDAP data than the OD Master. What will now happen when a master-replica sync is attempted? Will it overwrite the data in the Replica with the older information from the mMaster? Or will it update the Master so that it will have the more up-to-date data from the Replica?

Replicas have read only access to the Master and they can't write data 'back up' to the Master. The relationship is top-down only. Master and Replica(s) must all be exactly the same OS as well as using the same NTP Server. If the Master is 10.6.5 and the Replica is 10.6.7 the Master/Replica relationship will be broken. The relationship is also broken if the Replica's LDAP database is newer than the Master's.
You should seriously consider promoting the existing Replica to an OD Master role. This will ensure the most current LDAP database is preserved. The old Master should be demoted and re-promoted to become the new Master's Replica.
Consult the Admin Manual (as linked above) as it does give relevant guidance on what to do in situations like yours.

WANT DUPLICATEs in Playlist, but iTunes DOES NOT TRANSFER THE DUPES

When I try to put a Playlist with duplicates on my iPhone - iTunes automatically removes all the duplicates except the last one. On a Playlist I have duplicated and put the same short interlude sound file between each of the songs. I can play that playlist fine on iTunes on my computer - i.e. it plays all the dupes in the correct place.
iTunes also removes the dupes in the Folder view on my computer when I've put a Playlist with dupes into a folder with multiple playlists. They still exist correctly if I click on the individual playlist, but if I click on the Folder to view all the playlists in it together, it has removed all my dupes from the combined view folder playlist.

When I sync a playlist with duplicates they show up on the iPhone.
Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes and iPhone software.

What recent software update are you referring to? If it's Snow Leopard (10.6), that is not an update - you have to buy it (widely available for $29 or less).

Exported PDF does not reflect the most recent changes to my inDesign document

When I export a new PDF from inDesign after I have made multiple changes to the document the PDF looks like a previous version of my inDesign doc before the edits

Delete the old PDF normally, empty the trash and export again. It happened to me last week several times that InDesign could not overwrite an existing PDF but did not claim an error. After deleting the old file, the problem was solved.

Go to Apple > Software Update and install all available updates until no more are offered.
On iPad go to Settings > General > Software Update and install any updates.

I can see that the interconnect OAI Hub is putting a message into the WF_IN queue but the event does not dequeue the message and run the process.
So, I don't know if I'm missing anything here or there is something wrong with my configuration.

I am basing this reply on the OAI build I have on my laptop, which is an Oracle 9iAS Integration build, however I do not think that it has changed since.
Before you do this, it is always a good idea to add the "OAIHeader" objects to the Common View.
1. Under "Common Views", expand the "Business Objects" and find your Business Object (e.g. MY_BO)
2. Under the "Events", expand the "Events" to find your event (e.g. MY_EVENT)
3. Highlight you event (MY_EVENT), Right-click on your mouse, and choose "Edit". This will bring up the "Edit Event" window.
4. Choose "Add". This will create a new line.
The 'Name' will be blank.
The 'Type' will be "String".
The 'Owner' will be blank.
The 'Array' will be blank, and
The 'Default' will be 'NULL'.
5. On the 'Type' value ("String"), click on the value "String". This will bring up a pop-up list.
6. From this list, select "Data Type..."
7. Now click once anywhere in the "Edit Event" window. This will bring up a "Common Data Types" window.
8. Scroll down, find and highlight the the name "OAIHeader". Press 'OK'
9. Now back in the 'Edit Event' window, you will notice that the type is "OAIHeader".
10. Now give the "Name" (currently still blank) a value. Give it the name "OAIHeader" too.
11. Press 'OK'
12. You will now see that the Event now has "OAIHeader" information. Some of these values will be of interest and of use later.
The actual values for "EventName, EventVersion" etc. will be added to the data of the message at Runtime.
*** TIP: I always do the above exercise first for every Business Object event I create. Once I've included the 'OAIHeader', I then add all of the actual other message attributes to the message afterwards. ***
Create Content Based Routing Rules
In this example, I am going to route a message from a sending DB Adapter (DBAPP1) to the Workflow Adapter (WORKFLOW). Then once the message has been passed to the Workflow, it will be passed to the receiving DB Adapter (DBAPP2).
1. In iStudio, under the "Design" tab, expand the "Enabling Infrastructure".
2. Under "Content Based Routing", find your Business Object.
e.g. MY_BO
3. Expand the Business Object, and then expand the "Events" to find your event.
e.g. MY_EVENT
4. On the Event (MY_EVENT), highlight it, then right mouse click. Choose Edit.
5. A window will pop-up called "Content Based Routing: MY_EVENT"
6. Hit the "New" button.
7. Expand the message structure (MY_EVENT), and find the 'OAIHeader' node.
8. Expand the "OAIHeader" node, and select (highlight) the "SendingApplication" attribute.
9. Press 'Next'. This will move you onto the next screen.
10. From the drop-down list, choose the "==" Operator. Press 'Next'.
11. Enter a Value in the box. Since my sending application is "DBAPP1", type in "DBAPP1". Press Next.
12. Since I have completed the "source" CBR rules, check the "Condition Complete" radio button, and Press 'Next'.
13. Now in the next screen, select "WORKFLOW". Now press 'Finish'.
Perform the same as above, this time routing the message from the "WORKFLOW" adapter to your receiving adapter (e.g. 'DBAPP2'). If the Workflow message does not have the 'OAIHeader' information in it's structure, once again refer to the above and add it in.
Once you have completed all of your CBR configuration, use "File > Push Metadata" to send this new message structure and CBR rules to your adapters (DBAPP1, WORKFLOW and DBAPP2).
