2002D error message hardware test

Hello,
Im just curious as to why i am getting a 2002D error when i try and do a hardware test on my macbook pro retina late 2012 OS X version 10.8.3 mountain lion
would be nice if anyone knew what i could do to fix that
thanks

I would do Pram  and Smc reset
With the pram try several times to get the correct sequence.
It looks like that error is apple.com related  perhaps one of their servers are down.
Internet issue perhaps
Be sure to disconnect any external devices, printers, hard drives, scanners, and so on (other than the Apple keyboard and mouse) from your Apple computer before starting up to Apple Hardware Test and running the diagnostic.
any Anti virus etc switched off.

  • New-bought mbp 13' got error in Hardware testing

Today I' m so excited to take my first macbook pro home, start to be familiar with it very quickly, and enjoyed it.
No problem found, but just curiously lauched the Apple Hardware Testing by pressing D when restarting.
Ooops, one error hit me and upset me.
    " 4SNS/1/C0000008: TPCD--124 ".
I tried to google it but only found similiar errors which're related to sensor or tempreture problem.
And, now, who could help and tell me what's wrong with my NEW-BOUGHT machine?
Thanks a looooot in advance !

Why not return it to the store?
A little googling tells me that it is a temperature sensor error, returning to the store is the only sensible move for a day old machine,

  • Error message when testing Submit by Email button

I used Adobe LiveCycle for the first time to create a form.  I added both a Submit by email and Print buttons.  When I go to Adobe Professional to test my form to email, I get an security error message that the documet is trying to connect to my email address as the correct domain.  I then have the option to Allow or Block.  When I click Allow nothing happens and I don't get the email in my inbox.
Please assist as I need to send out this form and want users to be able to send w/out an issue.
    Thanks.

You have multiple options to sending whole PDF format.
    1) Set the submit button to submit whole PDF format by using a mailto: [email protected] in the submit button action URL.
    2) Set the submit button to fire a javascript that submits whole PDF format. See Adobe's Javascript reference guide for instructions.
Note: Methods #1 and #2 require Adobe Acrobat or Extended Reader Rights; because, Adobe Reader users are restricted to submitting just the data formats; such as FDF,XML, XFDF, XDP, and HTML. Beware extending reader rights to a PDF form using Adobe Acrobat places end user EULA restrictions, such as not more than 500 end user submissions for each form.
    My Recommendations:
#3) Set the submit button to point to a URL of a server-side script; such as ASP.net. Then set the format to a data format; such as FDF, XML, XFDF, or XDP; and use ASP.net and iTextSharp (Free) to merge the data with a blank PDF form; and attach the submission to an outbound SMTP mail message and send without 3rd party email software such as MS OUTLOOK.
#4) A combination of #1 and #3; where you enable usage rights on the PDF using Adobe Acrobat; and send to a server-side script which bypasses client-side email software.
Check out the following website for online examples that submit to a server side script:

    Regards,
    Ram

You are throwing the message and then catching it yourself, and then printing the stack, which is what java is doing.
    So, you need to
    remove
    }catch(Exception e)
    e.printStackTrace();
and you would need to place the try block appropriately, since some methods you have used want exceptions caught.

  • Detailed error message in sxmb_moni

    Hi guys,
is it possible to get detailed error information in sxmb_moni like the error information in the integration repository when using the test tag
sample error message in test tab
    +ns0:ZMOZPRUCK_envelope_update/ns0:ZMOZZFZT_update[4]/ns0:dbTableName/ns0:access/ns0:SPRAS.+
in sxmb_moni the error message is truncated
    sample
+During mapping com/sap/xi/tf/_JDBC_ZPRUCK_2_ZMOZPRUCK_envelope_u~ a RuntimeException occurred. com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException:RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformation: Cannot produce target element /ns0:ZMOZPRUCK_en~</+
This will save myself for copy/paste the payload in the test tab. In case of big message the Java GUI of the ESR lacks and it is impossible to test the mapping with such big messages.
    any suggestions on that?
    Thanks

    Gugel,

  • ERROR MESSAGE BEFORE FOOTER

    Hi
Our database trigger raises an error (RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(-20111,'My message').
The application of HTML DB generates a page with error messages on it. OK.
The first message is displayed as it is defined in the template ("Error Page Template Control"). No problems.
But the second message is displayed before the footer. How can I control this second message ? We do not want to show this message !
    Thank You
    Andres

    hi Andres
I want to implement the same solution, but I have some problems.
    1. I have create the database trigger. Ok
    2. Apex messages does not change. It show me the same error message
I tested on sqlplus and I can see my messages as follow:
    SQL> insert into user_roles values (6,'TEST_USER','LE');
    insert into user_roles values (6,'TEST_USER','LE')
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
    ORA-20111: My message
    ORA-06512: at line 11
    ORA-00001: unique constraint (T$UK) violated
    3. I think Apex is taking the last messages in this case ORA-00001:
    4. In your post you say
The application of HTML DB generates a page with error messages on it. OK.
The first message is displayed as it is defined in the template ("Error Page Template Control"). No problems.
Could you pls tell me how you solved? How define the message in the Error template?
or Maybe my Trigger is wrong.
    Just in case My trigger:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER tr_errors
    AFTER SERVERERROR
    ON DATABASE
    DECLARE
    my_exception EXCEPTION;
    BEGIN
    IF (ORA_IS_SERVERERROR(0001)) THEN
    RAISE my_exception;
    END IF;
    exception
    when my_exception then
    RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(-20111,'My message');
    END ;
    Thanks

  • Error Message from hardware test

    Hi,
I just recently bought a 1 gb PC2700 SODIMM 200 PIN DDR ram (EDGE TECH) and installed it in my 12"powerbook (1.5Ghz) to replace the original 256mb chip in there.
However, I got several application crashes and decided to run a hardware test and I got an error message for the ram:
    2MEM/2/4:DIMM1/J31
Does any of you know what does it mean? So is the memory bad? WHat should I do? replace the ram with edge tech or it's the compability, edgetech just won't fit on powerbook? But in the description they said it can be used on powerbook though.
    Please help!
    Thank you!
    Tom

I'm experiencing the same problem, it's really horrible! can anybody give me a clue? Thanks in advance

  • Apple Hardware Test Error Messages

I ran a hardware test on my iMac and the following error message appeared.
    4MOT/4/40000003:HDD-1243
    What does this mean?
    Thanks guys,

What prompted you to run the Hardware Test?
As far as I can tell, it's either an error with the Hard Drive or with the drive temperature sensor. If it were the latter, the fan cooling the drive would be operating out of its normal range.
Get iStat Pro and post the fan rpms, and temps, along with specifics on the model of your iMac.

  • Hardware Test Message Error

What does the following mean: hardware test error message 4SNS/1/40000000:TC0D-100.250
    thank you

Depends. If the sensor has completely failed then the fans may not ramp up when they should to keep the CPU and GPU cool. This could lead to heat failure.
If the sensor requires replacing, then it means a new motherboard. If a connector is loose then it won't take much to repair it.

  • Hardware Test Error Message - Mass Storage Error code ata 1/6/8 HD: 2,0

I have an imac 15" flat Panel, 700 MHz . after getting the flashing question mark, running or trying to run all the standard tests, (pram, Software Restore, disk repair, reinstall, kernel repairs) I never see the hard drive or volume. I saw it was a maxtor HD with 0 bytes at one point.
I now ran the Apple Hardware Test think I lost the Hard Drive...this is the feed back:
    Airport- Passed
    Logic Board - Passed
    Mass Storage - Error Detected
Memory - Has Not been Run yet
    Modem - Device Found
Video RAM - Has not been run yet
Error Code ata 1/6/8 HD: 2,0
Could anyone help me diagnose the issue? I think I can replace the HArd Drive myself, if I knew this was the problem and what I need to buy to replace.
    Thanks,

I have a different take to a brody having replaced my hard disk and opened my iMac G4 up several times. Many people find that Apple Authorized Service Providers tend to give extortionate quotes for such repairs. Feel free to get a quote yourself. I'll provide the same advice I've given to many many other Apple Discussions users who have successfully replaced their hard disk themselves.
The iMac uses a standard desktop PC hard drive. It is 3.5" wide and in the iMac G4 uses the IDE connection. The iMac 700MHz 15" has an ATA66 bus so can use ATA66, ATA100 or ATA133 drives but not ATA33 or SATA. You should buy a 7,200rpm drive with a cache of 8Mb or higher as this also increases the speed over the original 5,400rpm drive installed so you should get a performance increase.
Here is a list of suitable hard drives.
It's pretty fiddly to work inside an iMac G4 so you must be very cautious. Always take anti-static precautions. Here are three options for guiding you through the procedure:
    MacWorld
    xlr8yourmac
    Service Manuals
I've also taken a fair few photos which you can find here.
I'd advise reading the reports on the xlr8yourmac's drive database so get other people's experiences first.
You must replace the Thermal Paste when you close the iMac up or it will overheat.
It's probably worth replacing the PRAM Battery whilst you're in there as these have a finite life (once they fail to re-charge you may start to run in to snags - it's only a $5 part).
The hard disk should be set to Master (link).
Some iMac G4 700MHz users have reported that they are unable to address hard drives larger that 128GB, there is an application called SpeedTools that can be used to overcome this addressing limitation.
You might also give consideration to installing a 512MB PC133 DIMM or an 18x DVD±RW Dual Layer burner whilst you do this update; both of which will have to be removed during the process.
You must be very careful around the video connector in the iMac; it really is very fragile. In fact there is no need to touch it at all in my experience.
It is possible that the ATA controller on the iMac's logic board has failed rather than the hard disk. Given the cost of the logic-board it would not be cost-effective for an iMac G4 700MHz.
Let us know how you get on.

  • Apple Hardware Test error message: 4MEM/9/40000000: 0x79093f90 on 15" retina 2012

    hello.
I am having issues with my 15inch retina mac 2012. Some apps for example safari crash every once in a while. Some times i get the grey screen of death.
My configuration is: CTO. 2.6 GHz Intel core i7 with 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 and 512GB flash memory.
I have recently replaced my screen as it was with burn in problems.
I tried to install Yosemite but failed several times. Just got the 10.9.5 Mavericks going again.
I ran the apple hardware test and got FAIL!
The error code read as follows: 4MEM/9/40000000: 0x79093f90
What do i do now? I am out of warranty and i can't upgrade to the new software.
I keep on having app crashes. I keep on sending reports to apple and there is no response.
Who should i hold responsible for hiding that there was a problem with my machine?
My warranty recently expired but i had the problems prior and i figured that if there was no response that maybe one day better software would fix app crashing.
Please suggest a course of action other than replacing main board with ram and cpu (too expensive).
    Thank you in advance
    Kris

Thank you for the quick reply

  • Fans are Loud, Ran a Hardware Test Error Message Ensued

    I just replaced the power supply on my Aluminum iMac 24 inch, this is a result of not being covered by apple care and it running out of warranty just a few months ago. After starting up i noticed the fans were considerably louder than normal, i opened it AGAIN to see if anything was causing any friction, and to my dismay i found nothing. I ran a hardware test and came up with an Error code;
    4SNS/1/4000000:TLOP
can anyone decipher or tell me what this error code is? I'd like to figure this out, I'm guessing i may have missed or damaged a connection to a temp sensor?

Hi and Welcome to Apple Discussions ...
If you haven't tried it, reset the SMC. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1806
Reset the PRAM and NVRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
No idea what that file is... Google doesn't either unfortunately. If the above suggestions don't work, it's time to take the iMac in for service.

  • 'Wi-Fi: Hardware not installed' error message, as if no modem

I am using a MacBook Air 13" late 2013 with Yosemite. I am not at home but have a valid working wifi network available in a University. Suddenly my internal modem is not recognised. What to do?
'Wi-Fi: Hardware not installed'  is the error message as if it is not found.

In some cases, this issue is caused by a hardware fault. A loose connection, a short circuit, or a microscopic break in a solder joint may open and close depending on temperature, making the failure intermittent.
Test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already taken. Back up all data before making any changes.
    1. If you can connect to the Internet via Ethernet, Bluetooth, or a USB network device, make sure all available OS X updates are installed. If Wi-Fi is your only means of network access, skip this step.
2.. There are a few reports that the problem was solved by unchecking the box marked
              Wake for Wi-Fi network access
in the Power Adapter tab of the Energy Saver preference pane. I can't confirm.
    3. Reset the NVRAM.
    4. Reset the System Management Controller.
    5. Start up in Recovery mode. In the menu bar of the OS X Utilities screen, there's a Wi-Fi menu. Try to connect. If it works, select Install OS X. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade, so make a note of those before you begin.
    6. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider.
