2012 15" MBP cannot get through AHT.

I'm having a problem where the apple hardware test will not get past 11 seconds running normally. The pointer is still able to move, however it won't go past that. Does the same thing on my 3rd party ram as the original apple ram. Help?

Look at iOS Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.
If none of the above suggestions work, look at this link.

Cannot get through to CHAT to cancel

I have been trying to cancel creative cloud for days now. The "chat" button wouldn't show at all unless I go through a search on google and end up somewhere in the forum with a link.
Even then, when I click onto that link for the chat form, I get only this message (over and over again)

I did get through the day it is due on Dec 7, with clear instructions with the representative who kept on asking me whether I want to keep it if they give a discount. I had to go and thought that my final instructions were taken care of. I still have that chat recorded and will paste it here if you need it. I found out later when I got back to that windows that my request to cacncel has been considered "WITHDRAWN". Called the bank too but they said they couldn't dispute it until the charge actually shows instead of just PENDING.
I tried to send an email to FORMSCENTRAL as suggested by some other folks too but did not get an answer.
What is a phone number to call? Or an email to write?
I do not use Twitter for this.

You just register a new name and enter it in the iChat menu > Preferences > Accounts
You can use the same place in iChat to delete old names.
After a period on non use AIM actually release old name back for re-registration.

I have a copy of Photoshop CS and Dreamwaver CS3 that I want to sell they are both registered in my name and I want to sell them to allow the buyer to register in his name. I am trying to get through to my representative in Irland regarding my MacBook Pro, he gave me the number 0800 2775 2775 to ring, however it is telling me the number does not exist. He sent me this number in a letter along with my case number and asked me to ring them. They didn't give an email address and I feel they are frankly making it impossible for me to contact anyone.
I live in London, does anyone know what is going on and why Apple would give me a number that doesn't exist or if I am doing something wrong? So far I have been trying to get hold of a person directly to deal with my issue for almost two months.
I am feeling very deflated.

TS3899 Cannot get through the "terms and conditions" to download Apps on new iphone 5c

I recently bought an iphone3GS from USA and jail broke it. Since I heard the there are lots of disadvantages I thought to unlock it officially through the original owner (in copy). He assisted me and confirmed that he unlocked it with AT& T (See the attachment). According to the instructions I restored the phone. But it is not activating with “Activation server is currently not available, please try again or try with iTunes”
When I try with iTunes , it says “you haven’t inserted a SIM” even though I insert the original AT&T SIM.
My current location is Sri Lanka ,so don’t have any apple support.

"Response Code" needed to install CS3 (upgrade from CS2) - cannot get through on 'chat'

How do I get a Response Code for installing CS3 (upgraded from CS2) on a new computer? I used to be able to call for the code but there is no phone support anymore. I have spent 3 days trying to connect through chat which is supposed to be available 24/7 and it says 'chat is unavailable at this time'. I have no way of installing my software. Please help adobe.

Okay so I spent a further 2 hours on hold this morning and actually forgot I was on hold until I heard the beep beep beep of disconnection! GARRRRRR
Anyway, after a nice visit from my family to celebrate my birthday, i got back on the phone this afternoon.
5 minutes later I was speaking to a Technical Support guy who was extremely helpful, did not ask me to repeat trouble shooting steps I had already taken, listened to me carefully as I explained the problem and diagnosed, fixed and activated my software within 30 minutes.
Resolution of the problem: they gave me an updater checker response code which worked immediately. Ctrl/Shift+dbl click on the broken update cheker page and up came a back door screen. Just a few digits later and PRESTO my software is up and running like a dream. Activation was smooth and registration no problem.

Now i just have to figure out how to tell Acrobat Prof 8 where the damn .dll is on my 64 bit vista computer - having already installed acrobat professional without telling it where to look because I didn't think the install was going to work anyway. Dang.
Off to the KB files for me.

IPhone Software Updates Cannot Get Through Firewall

Our SonicWall TZ190 Enhanced firewall seems to be blocking the software update for the iPhone.
I want the software updates to come through, but not permit audio streaming (to conserve bandwidth).
Any ideas as to what I need to do with my firewall to get this to work.

Mid 2012 13" MBPs cannot connect to a projector

Hi all,
I'm having trouble getting the above model (I've tried multiple laptops of the same build and they all have the same problem) to connect to my school's projectors via a patch panel in the wall.
The connection is done from Projector to the patch panel and from there to the laptop using a VGA cable and MiniDisplay to VGA adapter. On connection, I can get a choppy screen that looks a little like a vertical jigsaw on the resolution 1024x768 (75 hertz).
When I connect directly to the overhead projector using the same cable and adapter it works totally fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to remedy this besides getting the patch panel replaced? Graphic card / display port firmware updates ... etc?

I have a simmilar problem. After I connect the laptop with a new video projector (it works ok) when I tried to connect it with other older video projectors I did not succeded. When I pluged the vga cable into laptop the resolution of the laptop monitor was decreased but the video projector does not project the image from laptop. I changed with Fn+F4 combination to duplicate but nothing happened. The older videoprojector worked fine before with my laptop, and still wor with other laptops. Windows 8.1 64bit. Any suggestions?

Need help getting RMA - cannot get through on CSR phone line

I bought a brand new T400 laptop recently. It has issues so we want to return it.
We ordered something else and it came back with something else.
I have been trying to contact the customer support for almost a week and has kept the line open for 4-5 hours daily and cudnt get any one online to get my RMA number.
This is a good way of passing the invoice date 21 days return policy days. Thats not good business ethics.

[Resolved]Installing on MBP, cannot get UUIDs

I've got Arch installed on my Macbook Pro 9,1. Whenever I select the Arch partition at boot, I get the following error:
error: no such device: $uuidThatIDontHave
I've had this problem before, and have always resolved it by getting the UUID of root (via lsblk -f) and changing the boot command to use the proper UUID.
However, the command returns no UUIDs.
lsblk -f
NAME FSTYPE LABEL UUID MOUNTPOINT
sda
|- sda1
|- sda2
|- sda3
|- sda4
|- sda5 /
|- sda6 /home
I have no way of booting into my Arch partition, aside form chrooting in from the USB.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

blkid
(as root). Or else
ls -l /dev/disks/by-uuid

It sounds like you are repeatedly getting a prompt saying that your Apple ID has been disabled due to security reasons. I recommend reaching out to our iTunes Account Security team for futher assistance, and keep in mind you will need to verify your account information with them:
