2013LinuxCW14.zip corrupt, will not unzip on Linux

Hi folks, the LabView Compile Worker 2013 for Linux zip file ( 2013LinuxCW14.zip) appears to be corrupt. We also tried to unzip it on OS X and Windows machines with the same issues. We had the same problem with the 2012 compile worker zip file and NI recreated it for us. Is there somebody that can look into this one for us? Thanks...Kevin

Where did you get the zip file from? Did you download it from ni.com? I just downloaded the file from ni.com, and I was unable to unzip it successfully (on a Windows 7 machine). It sounds like just that particular copy of the file may be corrupted, which may mean you can get around this issue by just downloading the file again from ni.com (from the link below). Try downloading a new copy of the file, and let me know if the problem persists.

.dmg and. zip webpages will not load through all browsers so I cannot download from sites

hi all,
i have had this problem since i bought my Mac Book. When trying to load a .zip or a .dmg webpage, it will start loading the page and than stop. Without dispaying nothing only a white page. I wont show me any errors or nothing, just stop loading,
I have upgraded to snow leopard maybe it will stop doing this but useless. I tried using Safari, Google Chrome and Mozilla and still the same.

i tried everything you told me but its still not working. When i try and download its redirecting me as every download page should do, so that ok. But when the .dmg and .zip page will start loading it will stay blank and stop loading on.
I checked the download folder and even the preferences and nothing is showing up. I think its more of a permission problem than from the browser since all browsers are doing this.
I had Norton 2010 installed and was removed maybe it was the source of the problem but still.
More help is greatly appreciated.

Oracle 8 i Enterprise for Windows NT will not unzip

So that we may better diagnose DOWNLOAD problems, please provide the following information.
- Server name: No server - stand alone
- Filename: oracle817ntee.zip and nt817personal.zip
- Date/Time: 3/26/02, 12 to 2:40 pm EST
- Browser + Version: MS Internet Explorer 5.5
- O/S + Version: Microsoft NT 4.0
- Error Msg: "Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive."
Used WinZip 8.1. I downloaded psoracle81798.zip (Windows 98) and could unzip it but the 2 files I downloaded for Windows NT would not unzip.

IPod is corrupt: will not restore, constantly resets itself

I have had my iPod 60GB for 2 years now and it just started going crazy recently. First it started skipping songs (not playing them) then when I connected it to my computer it said my iPod was corrupt and needed restored. So I clicked on restore and it keeps giving me an error message (1429) and says it cannot restore the iPod because it is corrupt. I've tried everything on the error message help page and nothing works. I tried changing the USB it was plugged into, and that didn't work. It says Windows couldn't install the software for my new drive. Now my iPod is setting here constantly restarting itself, over and over and over the Apple logo screen is coming on for a few seconds, then shutting off and back on and so on.
One of my friends said he had one that did the same and he had to send it in and get a new one- I certainly hope I will NOT have to purchase another one, because I certainly feel that for $280 you should get something that should work or can be easily fixed. If this is the case, and I don't get a new one, I will certainly NEVER purchase an Apple product again for sure.
I really like my iPod so I hope there's a way to fix it. I cannot get it to shut off now though! It keeps turning itself on and off. I am using a PC with Windows XP Serv. Pack 3 if that helps.

Virtually same problem. ipod shows playing a song, but I can hear the hard drive clicking. I tried to restore, but says ipod is corrupt. This is unreal as it is not long out of warranty and i paid way too much for this to happen. I have only used it about three months off anf on since I purchased it. It is stuck and will not shut off just the hard drive is turning. I placed it on a magnet in my car, and was wondering if that caused the problem.
Any help would be great as mor than one individual has this same issue.

Can't download movie-says "file corrupted"-will not let me delete download-now what?

I ordered a movie some months ago and downloaded both the HD and standard versions. A duplicate of both downloads appeared in the Download portion of my account. I tried several ways to delete these but was unable so I then tried to proceed with the duplicate downloads (just to get them off the que). I was finally able to download the standard version of the movie but when I tried to download the HD version it got almost all the way through (after 3 hours of Pause/Resume) then quit because the file was corrupted! How can I resolve this problem? I don't want this duplicate version anyway. After searching through every source of info I could I am no closer to a solution. I am operating on a Windows laptop and have current iTunes version. I unfortunately will need very basic instructions as I am in no way computer savvy. Any ideas would be very appreciated! Thanks.

I was receiving the same error message yesterday, which said There was a problem downloading "The Song Name / Album / Artist". The file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose "Check for Available Downloads" from the Store menu. The file tries to download five times before this error message appears.
I too, tried to find the file and delete it, but it was no where to be found.
So I gave up for that moment and tried again today and I was able to successfully download the file. Amazing how that works!!!

How do I open zip files?

You can't open them with Adobe Reader.
Do a Google search on "Unzip files iPad".

Downloaded 10g for windows... will not unzip

Just downloaded 3 discs for 10g windows...
All three give errors when trying to unzip... is there another way to get the patches/upgrade? or is this common when downloading such large zip files?

Archive utility will not unzip .jars anymore?

Is anyone else having the problem of not being able to open .jars with archive utility anymore?
It certainly used to work, I'm quite sure of it, because I've always used Archive utility to open .jars and get access to the .classes. Any ideas on how to fix this? is this a bug or was a feature dropped without warning or am I just missing something?
I'm not a heavy user of java, but it is kind of irritating to find that something that my computer used to do in a simple intuitive way is no longer available, or if it is it's certainly not simple or intuitive! I've checked archive utility preferences and can't find anything there. I'm really not sure how to deal with this! I've tried dealing with it through terminal, but for some reason it's not quite working and I can't crack open the .jar to find out why haha!

Thanks! that app works great I just wish I knew what happened to Archive Utility. The thing I like best about OSX is that it comes with a great set of tools. I don't like having to go and get apps to do specific new jobs y'know?

I am trying to download the Adobe Camera Raw 7.1 upgrade for CS6. The files will not unzip.

I am trying to download the Adobe Camera Raw 7.1 upgrade. The zipped files download, but when I try to extract the zipped files, I get an error message saying that there is already a file with the same name as the folder name I specified, and that I should specify a different name. The four zipped components are META-INF [Folder], payloads [Folder], AdobePatchInstaller [Application file\, and payloads [File]. Evidently, there is a conflict between the payloads folder and the payloads file, but I cannot be sure. All filenames came from the download.

Are you using CS6 applications ? Camera Raw 7.1 is only compatible with CS6 applications. Try this as mentioned on http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5391
For Photoshop CS6 and Creative Suite 6 customers, we recommend that you install Camera Raw 7.1 by selecting Updates from the Help menu and follow the on-screen dialogs to download and install the latest available Camera Raw update. IPAD2 corrupt will not update or restore

I have an IPAD2 32 GB with 4/5 GB of free space. Have had a very slow keyboard and had done a reset a few days ago with no problem. Software was up to date as of this morning 8.3. Did a reboot because of the continuing slow and delay issues with the keyboard/. When I went back to turn it on, screen said connect to ITUNEs. Did so. ITUNEs has the latest update both on a Windows 8 laptop and on a Windows Vista PC.Both show the ID of the IPAD. Efforts to update say there is a corrupt file although it does download and process the file. Anti-Virus is in pause protection. At one point got a error 1671 message. Tried to restore but got the the same corrupt message. Appears stuck in a loop. Help!!

Were you trying to restore from an iTunes backup? Your backup may be corrupt. Try restoring but choose set up as new:
Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
If that works & if you have also been backing up to iCloud, then you can choose to restore from your iCloud backup.

My ipod classic has decided to become corrupt, will not sync etc. Tried all of Apple's troubleshooting tips but nothing works. It is an 80GB classic which has been well looked after. what could of caused this and how can i rectify?

What system are you using Mac or Windows?
a. If Windows. run Chkdsk drive: /F
b. if Mac run Diskutilty -> CRC
     Click on the iPod device
     select FirstAid tab on the right window.
     click on the first Aid Button.
Then connect to iTunes and Restore.

Cpgz zip files not unzipping

been working on this for hours... Help!
I am trying to get Overdrive set up on my computer so I can eventually get it set up on my boys' ipads.
Our library: http://www.bismarck.org/index.aspx?nid=23 has Overdrive so that we can download Audio books and ebooks. I got the ebook set up no problem, but the audio book that I download, creates some kind of zip file with a .CPGZ extension that will simply not unzip. I read on the Apple Support Communities to download The Unarchiver, but that does't work either.
I don't want to download all this stuff on the boys' ipads until I can be sure I know how to do it right and not muck up their ipads.
I'm hoping it is something simple... Thank you!!

Corrupted file, either during download or from origin, Incomplete download, stopped at 99% done or similar.
Certain web browsers mishandling a file during or after the download process.
Try downloading with a different browser.
Also you can try and use the Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app , the unzip command:
# unzip path/to/zipfile.zip
One way in terminal is type the command unzip and drag your file to the terminal window and release.

My Time Capsule will not work through Time Machine but need to back up because my hard drive is corrupt. I hard-wired it to my MacBook Pro and have been dragging files to capsule in finder window. Will I have problems since it's flashing yellow constantly

My Time Capsule is constantly flashing yellow and it will not preform periodic back-ups. When I tell it to from the icon on the top task bar, it freezes MacBook...every time. I am now dragging files from internal HD to TC found in Finder after hardwiring it to laptop treating it as an external HD. Can in trust it to store files and photos as my MacBook is telling me to back-up because my internal HD is corrupt and may need replacing?

A PC can have more issues connecting than a Mac.
But it really should not matter.. so just try it in situ.. press and hold the reset.. once it starts up, it will return to default IP, 10.0.1.1 the PC should then be able to find it via the airport utility.
If not drag it over to the Mac and plug in there by ethernet.. or since it is a laptop, really should not be that difficult to drag the Laptop and plug it into the TC.
Important thing is to get access to the TC.
The Mac if it is running lion, then you MUST download and install 5.6 airport utility to do anything useful.
