Ever since the update I've had what I'm assuming is a notification icon on my screen and I've tried everything i can think of to figure out what it could be. It's appears to be a golden globe (almost like that of the web browser icon - which was what i though it was related to) with a number 1 next to it just as if it was a message or social network notification. Does anyone know what this icon might be and how to possibly get rid of it?
Solved!

Hi,
I need guide to install OGG on a separate box which will help me to migrate Sybase to SQL server.
Viral Davehi - just an fyi
we have SQL Server 2012 and from my reads and understanding OGG supports SQL Server up to 2008. not to say it wouldn't work on higher versions if installed. in the link above check out the SQL Server installation chapter. before purchasing the license I would contact Oracle.
maybe someone here has installed it on a higher version and got it to work. we are currently working on setting up OGG to work on Oracle to Oracle servers. -

SSRS Expressions: Part 1 - Program Flow
PT: "A very comprehensive article about program flow expressions. Nice job. I'm sure many will benefit from this article. Just a little feedback about some terminology that could be more clear: The entire statement that is
typically used to set a property value for an object in an SSRS report is an "expression". Each of the three programming constructs you've mentioned (e.g. IIF, SWITCH & CHOOSE) are "functions" and not expressions or statements."
Jinchun Chen: "Perfect! Good article for SSRS newbie."
Ed Price: "The table and images help bring it more value. Great job!"
Anil Maharjan
How to Schedule and Automate backups of all the SSAS catalogs within the

Jinchun Chen: "Good."
Ed Price: "Good use of images. Could be improved with better code formatting. Good job!"

JS: "Use object qualifiers (schema name to make sure that the right objects will be picked, e.g. dbo.) Outline ab bot more the things what not to do in production! Be aware that although people read this, they tend to use it anyway. If
triggers are enabled, they are executed once for each batch They are executed each statement not batch, miswording here."

Find the Database where user defined object located and where it is being referred.
GO: "This article deserves absolutely a medal THANKS!"
Jinchun Chen: ""
Richard Mueller: "Good topic. Grammar needs work. "Caution" states undocumented stored procedure is safe for production, but later states it is not."
Ed Price: "Great article. We should include the technology in the title. Good descriptions, and great References!"
JS: "Although the outlined solution is interesting and shows the public the usage of the "new" system views finding the right dependencies, it is not recommended to describe the usage of undocumented features such as sp_msforeachdb
as there are alternatives, especially in this scenario. You could generate a query using the sys.databases view and let it print out the database name along with the use statement. In addition to this and as the statement has to be run with a high privileged
account as schema information is secured as well, it should be made safe to SQL injection. In many case in the statements there is just a concatentation of values used. You can easily inject code in here, Also make sure that names / object identifiers are
quoted with [] in order to allow also special characters like spaces in the names"
Visual Basic Technical Guru - October 2014
