213:19 Error

Has anybody gotten this error and gotten around it.  Recently purchased Elements and Premiere 10 and can't get them working.  Tried a fix I found somewhere about security but I'm running on a standalone home computer, running Windows 7.  Very frustrating.

    Hello, I'm currently working on creating an App-V 5 sequence for Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise. Firstly I'm trying to create a sequence for CC Illustrator, however I'm running into what appear to be licensing errors.
    From what I understand in Adobe Create Cloud Enterprise, the licensing restrictions which tie the license to the machine have now been removed so that packages can be created with serial numbers included for deployment and imaging purposes.
    I've created a package for Illustrator using the Creative Cloud Packager and included the serial number and then sequenced this in App-V 5.
    When I deploy this app-v sequence, Illustrator loads but I end up with a 213:19 error. Looking in the amt3.log the full error is

    I've also tried creating a package using a trial licence and then using the adobe_prtk.exe tool to serialize the product at launch with no success.
    I've read the support statemnt at http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/technical-support-boundaries-virtualized-or.html, but would appreciate direction from adobe as to what would be causing the above error.

    I have read those articles (multiple times :-)) I've installed the required c++ redistributables on the sequencer and also on the test machines.
    I'm not getting any errors being reported in the App-V eventlogs.
    I initially used the adobe_prtk.exe tool to serialize the app-v application at launch via startprocess in the userconfig file as shown. This runs but it doesn't work around this issue.

    As I'm packaging Creative Cloud (not CS6), I'm assuming this has been carried into the Creative Cloud Packager for Enterprise which now must be used.
    Any other ideas appreciated.

  • 213:19 error message

    My main computer died and I am trying to install Creative Cloud on my new computer. I have checked that my subscription is up-to-date (I pay monthly). I have uninstalled and re-installed four times and I keep getting this "213:19" error message (see screenshot). Can anyone help? It doesn't seem as though support has an option for contacting them or sending a message after hours, which is pretty silly IMHO.
    If it helps, this is a Windows laptop, Toshiba brand. I can get the other specs if needed. It's kind of slow, just a temporary machine until I buy another good computer.

    Thank you for your reply, but it did not work. I am an administrator on my machine. I have disabled my firewall and my virus protection, and am still getting the error. Now I've tried logging out of Creative Cloud and am about to reinstall Photoshop CC to see if that helps. Crossing fingers. This is super frustrating since I'm paying a subscription cost for CC and it's been over a week that I haven't had access to my programs.

    These ones are tricky. But the following instructions are worth a try.
    First do a complete uninstall of iTunes and related components (but don't reinstall just yet), as per the following document:
    Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
    a. Launch regedit (Start >> Search Programs and Files >> type Regedit and open the regedit that comes up.)
    b. Access the following Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData \S-1-5-18\Components
    c. Perform the following actions
    i. Right Click on Components Folder
    ii. Select Permissions
    iii. Select Full Control and Read Permissions options
    iv. Select Advanced Button
    v. Select Owner Tab
    vi. Select to Change Owner to the Administrators
    vii. Check the option “Replace owner on subcontainers and objects”
    viii. Select OK when prompted that it may not change all.
    ix. Select Apply
    x. Select Apply again
    xi. Exit the Registry Editor
    Now try reinstalling iTunes again. Does it go in properly this time?

  • ALC-DSC-213-000 Error on WebService

    I created a process/Web Serbice in Workbench that goes out to the edcprincipaluserentity in the repository and pulls back the 'uidstring' from the db table. I have created a DataConnection in Designer that talks back to the LC Server and it connects to the WSDL file. When I invoke the button from the DataConnection link, it does not pull any information back into the output fields.
    While in workbench I can put in a test value and can see the results in the XML returned.
    I have Disabled sercuirty in ADMINUI for this process and it still does not work.
    Livecycle 8.1 is the version.

    Paul - in 8.1 there is no parameter for Run As, you only have Security Enable/Disable. Is there someplace else that this would have to be set. I went to Services > Archive Management > Endpoint Management

    Hi, this is my first time posting on the community help board, so I apologize if I'm breaking any rules.
    I have Windows 7 and Photoshop CS6 student/teacher edition.  I've been using it for about a week now, no problem, but I just tried to open it (I had opened it seconds earlier without a hitch), and I got the error code:
    "A probem has occurred with the licensing of this product. Restart yor computer and re-launch the product"
    "Error: 213:19"
    These are the actions I've taken, to no avail:
    1) Restarted my computer
    2) Tried the recommended solutions on the adobe page, and on several of these discussion pages.  I tried changing the permissions on Adobe to include full access, and I have several Adobe folders so I tried doing it on all of them.  Perhaps I'm doing this step incorrectly.  They also direct me to the "SLStore" folder, but I can't seem to locate this folder on my computer, in any of the directed places.
    3) The other recommended solution was to sign in as an administrator and then open an adobe product.  I only have one account on this computer, and that's the administrator one.  I can't figure out what the issue is.
    I think it might have something to do with my Adobe Reader - It suggested an update right before I tried opening Photoshop.  I updated it, restarted the computer, and Photoshop still won't open.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    I assume you've rebooted your computer since you started having these problems.  Not just "sleep" or "hibernation", but a full reboot.
    If not, please do so.  The licensing facility runs in the background.
    I tend to trust people unless they give me reason not to, and I'm not accusing you of anything, but I want to mention that Photoshop's licensing and activation management is complex, and Photoshop purchased or obtained from sources other than Adobe might be counterfeit or cracked and can be expected to stop working.  Did you get the software and license from Adobe.com?

  • Can't use CS5 since upgrading Mac to Mavericks. Getting 213:5 error.

    I would appreciate any suggestions. I have uninstalled everything using Adobe Uninstall, have run the Cleaner, checked the permissions. But re-installation continues to fail.  What is going on?

    I'm attempting to create an App-V 5 sequence for Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise software, but I appear to be getting licensing errors when launching the App-V sequence.
    From what I understand in Adobe Create Cloud Enterprise, the licensing restrictions which tie the license to the machine have now been removed so that the base packages can be created with serial numbers and can be included within build images etc as opposed
    to creating a trial package and then using a serialization file at install/launch time.
    To start with I've created a package using the Adobe Creative Cloud Packager tool (CCP) for just the Illustrator CC application which includes the serial number. I've  then sequenced this package using App-V 5 SP1.
    When I run this app-v sequence on a test machine , Illustrator loads but I end up with a 213:19 error. Looking in the amt3.log the full error is

  • Error 213:11 when starting LR or PS

    Hi all,
    After installing LR & PS using the CC desktop app on my Windows 7 machine, starting them up fails with a 213:11 error.
    I already looked at the read-only solution for the SLStore but there wasn't even an SLStore folder in \ProgramData\Adobe
    Any other suggestions?

    After contacting Adobe support, for me the solution was to create the SLStore folder in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\. Then making sure it is not read-only (uncheck the box) and the permissions for Users is Full Control.
    After starting PS again it worked.

  • Config error 213.5 How to solve?

    After installing Lion 10.7.4, I lost access to all of my Adobe applications.
    The error message I received when I tried to open the applications suggested that I uninstall and reinstall all the applications. I'm based in the US and am in China for one month. I'm unable to reinstall the applications until I return to the US. An information specialist suggested that I download trial versions and work with them until I return to the US and can reinstall the applications.
    I downloaded and installed Photoshop CS6. When I tried to open the application I received an error 213.5 message.
    Basically, what's going on and how do I fix it?

    Many thanks for your response. Here's a few more details.
    The applications that originally requested a reinstall were CS5 Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects, and Illustrator. I used the uninstall option to remove all four. They were part of a group license loaded from DVDs. Because I'm in China rather than the US, I don't have access to the DVDs. And now, of course, as I understand the situation, there are no download options for CS5. If I could download the CS5 versions, the serial numbers could be sent to me.
    After uninstalling the CS5 versions, I then tried to install Photoshop CS6 on a trial basis. After the several hour download and subsequent installation, when I tried to open the newly installed Photoshop, I received the 213.5 error message.
    I would like also to open this discussion with Applecare for more ideas but unfortunately, I haven't been able to locate an email option to pursue the matter. All I can find on the Apple website are phone options. Again because I'm in China, this doesn't seem to be an option for me.
    Any additional thoughts you can offer would be most appreciated. I kind of feel trapped.

  • CS6 - Licencing Issue (Error 213:11)

    Hi all,
    I'm looking for some advice regarding a recent issue I've had with CS6.
    I have been creating a package using AAMEE and then deploying it via SCCM.  I work in a Further Education environment and we have a site licence.
    Previously I have deployed the package successfully to XP machines without a problem.  I then successfully created and deployed the package to a couple of WIn7 PCs.
    At around this time the licence was due to expire and our admin renewed it - the licence keys appear to be unchanged.
    However, since then I am having issues running any newly deployed package.  Trying to run any of the CS6 programs results in the following error:
    I notice there are a couple of entries on this site for fixing the 213:11 error involving changing Read-Only access to certain folders, but this did not work.
    I have tried recreate the package using the Adobe ID of the admin person who renewed the licence, but this does not seem to have made a difference.
    Strangely, running each program 'As Administrator' seems to work, however that is not an option as none of my end users will be allowed this option.
    Any advice gratefully received.

    It seems that either the files you extracted or the package created doesn't have full admin rights, please start from the scratch and re-create the package with Admin access and make sure that the extracted files have admin access to.

    After downloading and installing CS6 I get 213:10 and 213:23 errors when trying to start the apps. The installiation said that the SW was validated.
    What now?

    You would have to reinstall. Your licensing system does not work for whatever reason. Perhaps you can start by reading this:
