220 Pages PDF Catalog | Mail me Only the FORM Page

Dear All,
I have a 220 pages part catalog built in InDesign CS6.
The 4th page is a FORM for Dealers (Application form).
The SUBMIT button mailing it to myself.
So I export the entire Catalog [interactive PDF] (220 pages) and sharing it with my audience. [they can download it from my website].
I want the People if they filling in the page 4 [PDF form] anf hit SUBMIT, only mail me (Kolors@ me.com) the page 4 instead of the 220 pages.)
Any Good Idea?

I just upgraded to Firefox 4 on my new MacBook Pro and can't open pdf files, or sometimes only the first page will open. Can anyone help?

There are no more details. The files either open to a blank page or the first page only.

Me thinks you have tried to connect to a shortcut folder and not a genuine folder.
Note Mac OS X in Mac OS X 10.4 has 3 popular folder shortcut locations:
The leftmost column of the Finder window.
The horizontal toolbar on the top of the Finder window
The translucent bar which can be anchored on the side or bottom of the screen known as the Dock. These are not true folder locations, but only locations for shortcuts. When you click on a folder for a volume that is not mounted, or is a folder which was deleted it will behave in this fashion. Often if you click on it the right fashion, it will change to a question mark.
In addition if it is an alias to an existing folder that has no contents, it will behave this way from the three shortcut locations.
If you right click instead of the left click a folder, it may think you want to do something to the folder which you can't do. Make sure your mouse button functions properly as a Primary button on Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse.
Also make sure Universal Access is not turned on as it too can cause funny behavior in the mouse click actions, in Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Universal Access.

Fillable forms: submitting only the form page

I created a 12-page conference brochure in InDesign CS3. Only 1 page has the conference registration, and after exporting the ID doc to PDF (Acrobat 8 Professional), I found it easy enough to make it fillable, and everything works. However, I can't figure out a way to submit just the 1 page with the form. That is, the recipient of the filled form ends up getting the entire pdf back.
Is there a way to have it send back only that 1 page or maybe even just the info that was entered in the fields?
On a related note, I am also unable to figure out the difference between the various export formats (under "Submit Form Selections"). That is, the difference between FDF, XFDF and PDF (the complete document). They all seem to produce the same result in my many, many, many tests.
I'm sure my 2 issues are connected, but it's all a blur at this point!

Ok, I just read SimonATS' thread, "Can I save a filled out PDF form using the free Adobe Reader?" and it was very helpful. I didn't read it before I posted my problem because the title asked a question I already knew the answer to, so I thought I didn't need to read it.

Are you able to see the full content when you click 'File" > 'Print Preview'? Please also try enabling 'Print background (colors & images)' in 'File' > 'Page Setup...' if it is disabled.

Are you sure? I believe the mail program only previews the first page for you, but sends the whole attachment. Try opening the attachment (e.g., select and hit spacebar for a preview of the whole thing, or by double-clicking it, or control-clicking then "Open...") You should see the whole document.

How do I print only the first page of multiple PDF documents?

I have about 1,500 PDF files (scientific papers) that I need to print only the first page of... Any suggestions on how to do this as a single job or as a few jobs? The files are organized in a bunch of different folders, so if there was some way to do this folder by folder, that would be ok too. Thanks!

Make sure that in System Preferences Printing & Fax pane you set the default printer to the one you want to use, then put all of these PDF files into their own folder, then open terminal and type the following (without hitting return afterward):
lpr -o page-ranges="1-1"
Then drag one of the PDF files into the terminal window (it will add it's path to the end of your command) and replace the file name with *.pdf, so it will look like this:
lpr -o page-ranges="1-1" /Users/todd/Documents/My\ Folder/*.pdf
Then hit return.

I have a map with 500 pdf's in it.
Is it possible to make a new file with only the first page of each pdf?
After that to make a new file with only the second page of each pdf?
And after that the third?
Etc.
Is that possible with an action?
Or are there scripts for?
I couldn't find them.
I use an iMac with Acrobat XI.
Any help is very welcome.

You can extract each page from each pdf as a seperate page. Once this is done you can select the pages tocombine.
You would have to write custom a custom JavaScript and programatically code the names to combine if the extracted file pages habvestandars naming that could be programed. There maybe some security coding you will have to do because of Adobe restrictions but this all documented in the Acrobat JavaScript Reference.

Printing Large PDF's, only the 1st page prints

I'm not sure if anyone else has seen this but when we print to a network printer only the 1st page prints.. We have Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat Pro 11 loaded.
Any assistance is appreciated

I believe there are other options out there for around that price but there's none I can personally recommend. Plus, if you DO find something that looks right, you'll want to check to see if tiling is available.
Keep in mind that Reader is made more for document sharing than it is for things like oversize prints. That's why they've probably never bothered to add tiling.

After installing OS 10.9.1, I can't send multi-page PDFs via Mail

After I installed Mavericks, Mail would no longer allow me to send a PDF document over one page in length. It will allow only the first page of the pdf to be attached to the email.

Thanks for the signature update. If you don't do all signatures, but instead assign it to a specific email account does it work?
I'm working on a post about signatures (still in progress) but a couple of workarounds. Use System Prefs > Keyboard > Text to create a signature. I use @@ as a signature shortcut. You can't type in multiple lines, but you can paste them in if you create them in any message and use copy/paste.
There is also a signature plug-in from Chungwasoft called Graffiti, but that might be overkill for what you want.

Why does only the first page of seach results show, with further pages graying out?

In a search, I may get >1,000,000,000 hits, but only the first page is readable. "Next" gives me a grayed out screen and FF freezes. Any of the offered searches at the bottom of that first screen will do the same thing. Repeated hitting "back" will clear it.
This has been true, through all the upgrades, including a backgrade to 3.6 (?) for 64-bit. This makes FF useless as a search platform, though it is my preference, even over Chrome, if it would work.

That does seem rather useless.
Use Automator - it has a "PDF to Images" action that will do exactly what you need. Drop your document into the workflow, drop the "PDF to Images" action in right after that, set any options that you need (like where to save) and then click "run"
Barring that, I've found that sometimes Adobe Reader will sometimes work well for documents that Preview can't print, and I've found some documents that Adobe Reader chokes on but Preview handles flawlessly.

In thunderbird only the spam page in one of the accounts is showing and I can't get back tomthe main menu

I have several email accounts and this morning I cleared the spam account on one of these. only the spam page was left and the other tabs disappeared. I may have accidentally closed the tab. I can't get out of this spam tab . I have tried closing Thunderbird down and restarting but I go back to the same place. I closed and restarted the computer with the same result.

If there are no toolbars:
Press 'Alt' key to get temporary Menu Bar
then 'View' > 'Toolbars'
select: Menu Bar to set as permanent
then 'View' > Toolbars,
and select other toolbars - Mail Toolbar, Quick Filter bar and Status Bar
This should get you all the toolbars.

Lately when I do an images search only the first page actually shows the images- the rest show blank squares- why, and how do I fix it?

Over the last week I have noticed more and more that my searches do not show up properly. Today only the first page of images actually show, the rest are blank spaces, but if I click they go to the image site. The rollover does not show either.
What can cause this, and how do I fix it? I have tried various safe settings but this has no eefect at all.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Only the first page is printed reduced as setup. All pages afterward are full size with information cut off. Recent problem. Can print from Safari just fine. How can I get all pages to be reduced size?

Reset all Firefox printer settings
# Open your profile folder:

# In your profile folder, copy the prefs.js file to another folder to make a backup of it.
# Open the original prefs.js file in a text editor (such as TextEdit).
# Remove all lines in prefs.js that start with print. and save the file.

Are you sure you don't see them when you swipe to the left?
I actually had only one icon showing on the second page .... and then all of the rest showed up on pages 3, 4, etc.
The Apple Music app is a red box with a white note
Weather app is a blue box with a white cloud and yellow sun
