23.0.1 causes errors in Yahoo Mail.

[1] On reloading Yahoo Mail, a "compose message" window pops up with an old address. Canceling it only has it saved to Drafts. Erasing it from Drafts doesn't clear it. On reload, it pops up again. Does not appear in Chrome.
[2] When multiple tabs are open in Y! Mail, cannot switch and view other folders until all tabs are closed.
This bug does not appear in Chrome.

Use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop-down list:
#click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
#highlight an entry in the drop-down list
#press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Firefox giving me network connection error in yahoo mail

I am getting this message from yahoo mail when I use Firefox my regular browser. I went back to an old version of IE and I did not get the error message. I cleared out some stuff earlier I was wondering if it was connected to it.

I keep getting a script error on yahoo mail. the page freezes up and loads and loads.

I can sign into Yahoo okay. It happens when I try to sign out
the page won't let me sign out. So I minimize the page and
tried to delete the cookies and cache. It hangs on forever deleting
history. And I get a script error message.

This problem seems intermittent. It was working OK earlier this morning but now I can't open emails, I'm getting the following error message "We’re sorry, but there appears to be a problem loading the email".
If I try forwarding the message to an alternative email address, as suggested on the Yahoo community forum, I get this error message "Yahoo Mail is having a problem retrieving the original email for reply or forward."
Has anyone got a fix, or even a workaround please ?
Can the mods help with this ?

Loading Yahoo mail causes screen resolution error

Whenever I load Yahoo mail in FF7, I get an error message saying my screen resolution is too low. However, my resolution is 1440 by 900, the native setting. This only happens in FF7, never in other browsers. It also happens when I use Firefox's zoom setting. Seems like that trips it up.

When I zoom in on the page, my resolution drops down to 96 by 96 in the first test and to 900 by 600 on the second test, both of which are lower than the recommended value. So why does zooming in only affect this browser and not IE9, Opera or Chrome?

Your suggestion of breaking up the export to pdf into sections of pages was excellent. I don't know why I didn't think of it...maybe because I was in panic mode.
For anyone else who experiences this problem, I exported 50-page sections to pdf with no problem. I now have 7 hi-res pdfs, but that's no problem. The printer should have no problem dealing with it. No error messages came up.
The only thing I can think of is that InDesign couldn't export that many documents (148) in the book palette to hi-res pdf, and it has no error message available to explain the cause—either outside ID's ability to process or out of memory, even though I have 16G of RAM.

I tried to reproduce the error in my browser, but it worked fine. The calendar loaded without any issues.
Have you tried loading the calendar in any other alternate browser to see if you get any error messages. If you get error messages in other browsers too, the problem may not be in your Firefox browser. Upon checking the Error console found there might be issue with javascript.

I have latest version of FireFox 19 and Snow Leopard. I get the same error message on Safari and Google Crome aI even downloaded another Browser for Mac still got he same error message ! I have used the Disk Utility to repair files and rest Safari. I have deleted Firefox then downloaded a fresh version, still the same error messages ! Please help it's driving me nuts.

Getting security certificate error message when accessing Yahoo Mail.

Whenever I navigate to the login page for Yahoo Mail I get a "sec_error_expired_certificate" error message. It says the certificate expired today, 11/29/11.
I do not get this error when I try to login through Internet Explorer.
I also recently experienced this issue when trying to login to Facebook.
I use AVG free anti-spyware as well as Spybot Search and Destroy. I run multiple scans daily and have had no negative reports (nothing found).
What do I need to do to resolve this issue? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Yahoo mail doesnt open anymore, gives a 404 error

As of just lately, every time I go to open my yahoo mail, I get a 404 error, not found. When I switch to IE, it works just fine. I've run my registry repair program and found some errors there, but FF is still doing the same thing, but only on yahoos mail page.

You can remove all stored data from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry (Show All History or History sidebar) or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove everything like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions from that domain, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks.<br />
You can't recover from that "forget" unless you have a backup of the affected files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

Yahoo Mail - Unable to delete and Cannot Get Mail errors

A few days ago my Yahoo mail started acting up.
I keep on getting "Unable to move message" errors when trying to delete mail. The proper folder is selected as the trash folder under settings. Sometimes message do delete however, but mostly they do not.
I am also getting periodic Cannot Get Mail errors, but mostly I am able to receive mail.
This leads me to believe that this might be a yahoo issue (I opened a support request with them also) I have deleted the account from my iPhone and recreated it several times, but the problem persist.
Anybody else having similar issues with Yahoo mail ?

I opened a ticket with Yahoo, a day later they came back and advised that they made some changes to my account, but it still does not work.
There is something strange about how Apple and Yahoo communicates, I think there is some exchange in the middle that is causing the problems. The reason for me saying this is the error I got periodically stating that "Cannot Get Mail, The user name or password for imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com is incorrect". Why imap.APPLE.mail.yahoo.com ???
I did however setup a "Other" mail type account using the POP and SMTP settings from Yahoo and it works like a charm now, no more problems and I can now even use a different reply to e-mail address. Only issue might be that you no longer have the Yahoo side custom mail folders on the iPhone, but this is no big deal for me.
For the incoming server I used pop.mail.yahoo.com with my Yahoo username and password (username without @yahoo.com)
For outgoing, SMTP, Hostname I used smtp.mail.yahoo.com with my Yahoo username and password (username without @yahoo.com), SSL = ON, authentication = Password and server port 465
Under advanced settings for outgoing mail server, Use SSL = ON , authentication = Password and server port 995.
I am not claiming that I understand all of the above, but it works. Hopefully this may point you in the right direction.
