23" ADC from the USA connecting to ADC to DVI to my Macbook Pro, problem???

Hi guys,
I love my 30" display, don't get me wrong but its to big for everyday use so i use it for movies etc, i think i might buy the 23" ADC display from the USA as the exchange rate is good but if i use a UK adc to dvi adaptor, will there be too much power to the screen and damage it?

I assume you are thinking of buying an older 23" display, as the newer ones have DVI?
I believe the ADC/DVI power brick converts the native voltages to those the display needs on it's ADC connection so you should be fine...always worth a call to Apple to check.
The ADC/DVI power brick might be multi-voltage/standard but I'm not at home so I can't check mine for you unfortunately.

Can I use an Airport Extreme Base Station from the USA in Europe ?

A friend of mine gave me an Airport Extreme Base Station from the USA to Germany. When I hook it up to my PB by ethernet cable the Computer can't find the Base Station at all. If I use my Sonnett Aria Extreme PCI card it finds the station but in the pop-up menu asking in which country I want to use the airport station it only offers North and South American countries. How do I go from here and why is my PB not finding the station when I'm using cables ? Has it something to do with different models for different countries ? Any idea ? Thanx

I have a Macbook Pro Early 2011 from the USA. After installing Mavericks, Adobe CS6 crashes whenever it is plugged into a 27inch cinema display I purchased from the apple store in China (We moved to China). It works when not plugged into 27inch display.

I have a Macbook Pro Early 2011 from the USA. It is now running Mavericks. I connect it to a 27" Cinema Display that I bought in China after we moved to China. Before I installed Mavericks, I could run all of the Adobe CS6 and Adobe CS5.5 applications on my Macbook Pro while connected to the cinema display. Now that I have Mavericks installed, whenever I am connected to my 27" CInema display my Adobe applications crash upon opening. I know this is a rare scenario, but does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem? Is there a new driver that needs installed? I'd appreciate any help.

I am also having a similar issue. I used Adobe Lightroom and my whole display goes black. Even my laptop screen and the lights on the keyboard go black. I can still hear the fan running, so I assume it is just the display. This is my first Mac and I have had nothing but issues. I think I am going back to Windows after this.

you could buy it somewhere in Europe. I know Apple sells them unlocked here in Germany and if I am not mistaken also (among others) in France and Italy.
Yet, as Peter wrote, the warranty can become a problem. Not sure whether a one country only rule goes for the European Community as well though.
As for the price, the 16 GB model costs 679,- € (equals roughly 550 £). Currently there is an average delivery time of 4 to 5 weeks.
LTE connections will not work with Orange or Vodafone. Only EE is about to offer a compatible LTE network. DC-HSPA and regular HSPA+ will work fine.

I've created a Cloud Service containing one simple Worker Role. I've configured an EndPoint in the WorkerRole configuration, which allows Input connections via tcp on port 10100.

As you can see, nothing special is being done. I've used the RoleEnvironment.CurrentRoleInstance.InstanceEndpoints to retrieve the current IPEndpoint.

I've already tried to configure an internal port in the ServiceDefinition.csdef file, but I get the same exception there.
As you can see, the client can connect to the service (the log shows the message: Client connected with the address) but when it tries to read the bytes from the stream, it throws the exception.
For me it seems like Azure is preventing the retrieval of the message. I've tried to disable the Firewall in the VM in Azure and the same continues happening.
I'm using Windows Azure SDK 2.3

Is it possible to have the following code? The issue is that you are iterating through two result sets created from the same connection at the same time.

The code compiles, but I have not tried running it. It is a question I need to know, designing a program.
The question is whether some error would come up or the first ResultSet would be corrupted because a second were created before the first one was closed.

I need some help please, or advice, or anything..
I just found in my mail this morning a very unexpected and generous gift from the USA, of $100 in iTunes gift cards ($50 x 2). I am in the UK and am disgusted to find that I cannot use them. After reading through the forums, I do understand that I'm unable to use foreign gift cards, but what's getting to me is why? For what reason? This is what I can't find, the reason.
I do not want to jeopardise my account in any way, I do not want multiple accounts (is this frowned upon by Apple?), and as yet I have not scratched the foil to reveal the codes. I don't know what to do? This was an unexpected gift and what now? I have to tell the person kind enough to send them that they've wasted their time AND money?! Diabolical. I'm going to feel just awful telling her that! I don't want her to lose her money, and I don't want to have to almost throw her kindness in her face because Apple are implementing ridiculous "rules" and give me no other option.
I don't know what to do at this point. Does anyone have any ideas or words of wisdom please?

This has nothing to do with iPhones in the Enterprise.
Sounds like your friend is a bit dumb and bought a carrier locked iPhone. The only way to address this is to contact the carrier to whom the device is locked and find out their unlock policy.
Oh, and stop being dumb yourself, posting IMEI, serial numbers, and email addresses on a public forum is just plain stupid.

Yes - unlocked means unlocked, but if there is a problem that requires an exchange under warranty, the warranty would be honored in the US only. You would need to return to the US for an exchange under warranty.

Yes, the iPhone 5S is a global phone. However, Sprint will only unlock phones for use on GSM networks outside of the U.S. In the U.S., that phone can only be used on Sprint's network.
