Ok, i gave up about making the clock smaller, but now if i did remove the clock and the date from the main screen. How can i remove also the operator name ? That's "Vodafone RO".

You need to help us first ...
Computer specs:
OS, CPU, RAM, GPU, vRAM ... and also disc layout & connections can be useful (as in, "2 internal hard-drives and an external on Thunderbolt connection for exports")
Program specs:
Specific build of Premier Pro from the bottom of the "About" splash screen off the "Help" menu is best.
Footage file type: MXF, AVCHD, MOV, m2s, what?
Even the camera it was shot on can be of interest at times.
And did you use media browser to import, then project panel to drag & drop?

This has been a request from Apple users for many years. it's great you can now combine all emails into one, but some people want them kept separate and have separate icons on the main page. They could easily do this by having one "MAIL" account as white and another red. Or put MAIL 1 and MAIL 2. Or an actual label that the mail accounts are called on the ICONS!!

I currently have two email accounts setup. My iPhone main page Mailbox settings reads:
Mailboxes
Inboxes
All Inboxes
Gmail
[email protected]
Accounts
Gmail
[email protected]
I wish there an efficient way to move back and forth while in the "Inbox" between accounts. Also, Why does one gmail account show as "Gmail" and another as the actually address?
The names are based on the names you gave the accounts when you set them up.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap the account you want to re-name. Go to the "Description" field and put in what ever you want.
Second, there is no way to quickly choose a bunch of emails to delete. I have to manually go into each one and move it to the Trash folder.
If you tap the edit button in the upper right while in mail, you can select multiple items to move, delete or mark (flag).
I don't want any of the condescending remarks, that I've read here and in other forums. I'm honestly looking for a solution, which I think you are too! One thing I realized is that iPhone users in these forums are really defensive and quick to say "that's how it is, live with it, if you don't like it go away" Um...the only thing that tells me is you are pretty bitter and have kept telling yourself that, to force yourself to like your device. I prefer to express my issues, and find solutions. There is ALWAYS a solution...
I think what you will find is that many people here, myself included, tend to get a bit short with people who start off with attacks or whining about how something has been asked for for years and should be easy, rant about things that have already been beaten to death multiple times in the forums, talk about how much better Android or BB are at something (really... if it's that much better, why did they buy an iPhone to begin with?), etc., or continue to ask questions that could easily be answered with a simple search, or even just by looking back at the last dozen posts to the forum, half of which probably asked the EXACT SAME question.
I don't think any of us go out of our way to be rude or uncivil. That said, attacking the people who are attempting to help you is much more likely to generate a response of 'if you don't like it, go away', than it is to generate something that will be truly helpful.

No. Nothing can be removed from the initial iPhone firmware. Also nothing can be added other than an official Apple Update.

Moving apps onto the main screens

I have too many apps to appear on the main screens and have now deleted some from the main screens. How do I move the apps onto the main screen? I'm assuming you mean that you installed more apps than can fit on the 11 home screen pages, and the overflow apps are only findable with iPhone Search.
1. Delete some apps as you have done.
2. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout
My iPhone is not Synced with iTunes for apps, so when I sync it, all apps are deleted.
1. Be sure you've authorized your computer in iTunes to the iTunes store account you used to purchase apps.
2. After connecting your phone to iTunes, and before syncing (disable automatic syncing), right-click your device and select "Transfer Purchases."
3. You might want to do this before deleting apps from the phone so that you won't have to re-download them from the App Store.

Lion Internet Re-Install jumps back to the main screen

Hi all,
I have a 2011 Macbook Pro Unibody here. The HDD went bye-bye so I replaced it and attempting the Lion Internet recovery with little success.
I booted the Mac with CMD+R and the internet recovery loads up.
From the main screen (where you can select Disk Utility / Reinstall etc.) I selected the Disk Utility and erased the HDD and reformatted it for the OS X installation.
Back to the main screen I choose the install OS X Lion option, choose the HDD and klick trough the ToS. I then get the progress bar for the download but nothing happens for a few minutes, then the window closes and jumps back to the main window where you can select Disk Utility / Reinstall etc.
I do not get an error message or anything.
Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your MacBook Pro. If you are able to boot from Internet Recovery but are unable to reinstall OS X to your primary HDD (fails silently), you may want to try creating an external OS X installation/Recovery System on an external volume. This will help isolate the issue to either the internal HDD or the Recovery install process, and will provide a seperate Recovery System from which you can try to reinstall to your internal HDD. Is it possible to create a new calendar that is SEPARATE from the main one?

I would like to create a separate calendar that has been adapted from my Main Calendar. I do not want all the details from the main one to show up on this newly created one. Is there a way to just Copy and then start Deleting events? When I try to do that it deletes from the Main Calendar (and I do not want that to happen).

I would like to give you a workaround for your problem.
If you have BO Server installed on your machine then do the following
-> Go to 'Central Configuration Mangager(CCM)'
-> Right Click on 'Server Intelligence Agent(SIA)' and click 'STOP' then
-> Double click on 'Server Intelligence Agent(SIA)'
-> Go to 'Configuration' Tab
-> Click 'SPECIFY' on 'CMS System Database Configuration' button then
-> Select any one of the 3 options(depending on ur requirement) and connect to ur Database (Firebird) by giving the credentials of ur database.
-> After doing all the necessary things Restart the SIA by clicking the buttion START on CCM and now check if u r getting Firebird database while creating a new connection.
This is just a workaround. I hope this would b helpful to you. Please try this and see if its useful to you.

Business requirement is the new field should display the list entry in Infotype 2001 for the calendar year as selection option for employee. they would like to know ITEL subtype claim,
Example.employee no: EE#9941
As per screen shot you may see for EE#9941 there are 2 Leave requests.
So in the leave details the selection drop down menu option or any other way should be display 2 lines.

Hide/Change "Help" button from the Main Toolbar

I would like to know if there is any possibility to change the URLs displayed when clicking in "Help" button from the Main Toolbar.
I think that it is not possible so that is the reason I was also asking the the "toolbar ID" in order to hide the button through "Toolbar customization".

In System Properties please mention the URLs to which you want these links to point:
Documentation - system.help.url.buyside
E-Learning - system.link.community_url
Community - system.link.elearning_url
Guides - system.link.guides_url
Also you can customize the display names of these by changing the Localized Resource values for below

Go to Menu\Settings\Settings\Personalisation\Standby mode. Then in 'Standby Theme' you should see an option marked 'Basic'. Pick that one.

I'm not sure if this will do it, but try a rest. Hold down the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds until the Apple appears.

Access a nested symbol timeline from the main stage

Would love some help on accessing a nested symbol from the main stage please.
To set the scene.....
"Its an autumn day..
no sorry...just joking...
So i have a symbol called "NormalAnatomy" - its not on the main stage, but when a button is clicked it appears in the 'content' box which is just a rectangle on the main stage.
Inside "NormalAnatomy" symbol is another symbol called "Scrub_all" which is an animation
For users to view the animation they use a scrub bar like this lovely lady has invented:

So for Sarah Justines scrubber to work - the main stage has a lot of actions added to it. Also the "timelinePlay" symbol is on the main stage

So as soon as I took this symbol off the main stage, the scrubber doesn't work. So I click a btn, and the symbol appears in the content box but the scrubber doesn't work.
so I tried in front of the "NormalAnatomy"
getStage().
getStage("content").
getComposition().getStage().
getSymbol("content").
but nothing works
The main problem must be the fact that the NormalAnatomy symbol appears inside a content box so the MainStage actions doesn't know how to find it??
So my question is... what should I put in the main stage actions to make it access the "NormalAnatomy" symbol?

or
sym.getSymbol("nameofsymbol").play();
replace the italics with the literal name of the symbol as it appears in the Elements panel.
