24'' iMac (White) Nvidia drivers need updated for games

I have the Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT 256MB graphics card in my iMac. Apparently the GeForce 7 series drivers for Mac are really buggy, so some developers have blocked access to the games.
First is Steam, which recently came out with a Mac version. I was excited to play Half-Life 2 and Portal on my Mac instead of having to use Boot Camp, until I saw that they don't support my graphics card.
Next is Starcraft II. I was lucky enough to get invited for the beta testing, but like the Steam games, Starcraft II is not allowed for the Macs with the GeForce 7 series. Once again, I had to use Boot Camp instead.
Obviously, my graphics card can handle these games, because I can easily play them in Boot Camp.
How can we get Nvidia to update the drivers so that we can play games in Mac OS X?

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

How do I install nvidia drivers in ubuntu for my 2013 27 inch iMac??

I have the 1gb nvidia 675mx 27 inch model of the new imac. I am triple booting ubuntu, windows 7 and OSX fine and I can boot into linux normally but I am running off the open source 2d drivers that come with ubuntu. I tried to switch to the propietary nvidia drivers and also tried installing from various sources but I when I reboot I end up with no graphics at all just a command shell type thing that shows whats happening underneath with text. Its really frusturating. Do I need to install special apple/nvidia drivers or something? I must have reinstalled ubuntu and/or linux mint like 20 times trying to get these drivers to work.

Cannot get drivers and updates for my PC

I'm finally upgrading my hp pavilion d4500e cto desktop pc from XP to Windows 7 (I don't like Win 8 so got Win 7 Prof). Before upgrading, I want to update the BIOS if needed and save off the drivers and updates to external storage. I went to the Support page > Software and Drivers and searched on my product name. I'm having issues getting the drivers and updates I need for this PC. If I use the Solution and Update Finder wizard, it scans forever and never stops. I did a direct search on the product and clicked the product name. However I then get a page that says "Page Not Found". I tried searching for these drivers/updates on my newer HP Envy laptop thinking maybe I could at least save off from that PC. I get the same results after I click on the product name - Page Not Found . Help!! I need these drivers/updates ASAP. This PC still works great and has plenty of memory but due to software changes over the years I really need to upgrade to Win 7 now. TIA

There is no W7 BIOS update for your model.
There is a BIOS update for the XP operating system and you installed it, that would be the latest version.
Do not attempt to install a BIOS update written for another operating system. In other words, don't install that BIOS update after you install W7.

What drivers to update for recent Twist purchases?

I just bought the twist on black friday and need to know what drivers to update?
Also, does anyone know how one can update drivers by using the lenovo setting without the usual going to a web browser and manually finding the update? I am pretty sure there is a way but I don't seem to find it. I was looking around the Lenovo Support App but maybe I didn't look well enough.
Similarly, the driver update for tent mode didn't work for me, so hoping Lenovo comes with a solution to the Tentmode problem.

I'm expecting driver updates to solve that issues that most of us are seeing with the lenovo twist
Touchpad driver:
should resolve the issue where mouse moves and click around in tablet mode
Power Management:
should resolve the issue with the auto-rotation especially in tent mode
And maybe one that improves the battery life? Hopefully...

First of all i was told i needed updates for ipod,so i did this,and it wiped all my music off,but it still won't connect to my wi fi ?

I have an ipod touch and i wanted to get online while i was roaming,so i joined BT openzone which allows you to use other peoples wi fi,but ever since i joined i can't connect with my ipod,so went to the apple store and asked them,they said i needed updates,i got the updates which wiped my music off and it still won't connect,what do i do.

Need update for Safari 1.3.2 for iMac G5 running Version 10.3.9

I have a newer version of Safari on my powerbook at home that I like, and wanted to upgrade to a newer version of Safari at my work computer too. There doesn't appear to be an ability to "update" or "Check for updates" on my current version of Safari.
I'm current using Safari 1.3.2 (v312.6) on my G5 with Version 10.3.9 .

You have the most current release for your OS. To use a newer version would require you update to Tiger or Leopard OS.

Will Soundlbaster Audigy 2 NX Drivers be updated for EAX

I am currently playing games such as Everquest 2 that support EAX4 and the Devs there said you guys need to update the drivers for this card to support EAX4. Is this in the works, if not why not, if so when?

The Audigy 2 NX does not support EAX 4.0. It does support EAX Advanced HD and should work with your games. There have been no announcements of an update to the Audigy 2 NX that would include EAX 4.0.
My understanding is that Everquest 2 is still in beta, so it is hard to know what to expect from the product when it is completed.

Satellite Pro L300 -software-service says I need update for graphics driver

I downloaded the DesignByMe software from http://designbyme.lego.com/en-us/default.aspx
The installation run without problems, but when I want to start the program it restarts over and over again. The picture doesnt load fully, instead there are black spots. I cant click on anything nor close to programm .I thought maybe the installing process didnot finish properly so I downloaded the software again but the problem is still the same. Im using a new Satellite Pro L300 28w with Windows 7 and Mozilla Firefox 3.6
I contacted the lego support and they answered: "You most likely need to update your graphics driver. Please contact your computer manufacturers customer service or website for a free upgrade"
Is this likely and if so which upgrad edo I need?

I dont know if updating your display driver can solve this problem but if the manufacture of the software says that its worth a try!!! ;)
The update is pretty easy: Firstly download the latest version here:

If you have downloaded the latest version, remove the old one firstly. Check the software list in control panel and follow the screen instructions. I assume you have to make one restart and after this you can install the downloaded version.

Can someone save an imessage somehow? Especially if it is a kind should be reported to the police? If not this would be a much needed update for the future.

I had to report an shady Imessage to the police. I tryed to find a way to save or send it for evidence when when needed. there doesn't seem to be a way. I was able to save the photo this nut sent me. You've heard a picture is whorth a thousand words. The photo was a hand holding a pistol with their hand on the triger. they spoke in launage I could not translate. I tryed to translate it in google traslate and wouldn't work. I have PSD. my younger sister was shot to death with a handgun back in 1987. So this kind of photo said something to me and it was very frightening to me. I reported it to the police. In future updates I would to Apple create a way to save an imessage for matters such as these. Thank you very much.

Already exists.
You can easily take a screenshot of the Messages screen.
Hold down the home button and briefly tap the on/off switch. That will save an image with exactly what you can see on the screen into your Camera Roll.

XPI installer needs updating for 10.1

In the past I've followed these excellent instructions to install the flash plugin into firefox as a non-admin user on Windows XP/sp3, however the flashplayer-win.xpi currently located there is a tad old (10.0.32.18)
Could someone update the XPI installer (the only one possible for many people) to 10.1?

I have never used this method; in fact I have never heard of it. I just run the Flash Player installer, and everything works.
However, reading through these instructions I see that you apparently need flashplayer.xpt and NPSWF32.dll; both of which are placed into the %WINDIR%\system32\Macromed\Flash folder during the 10.1 plugin installation.
Does that help your cause?
