  • Why are my exported files not going to me email?  I have used 3 different ones.

Why are my exported files not going to my email (receipts & business card)?  I have used 3 different ones...2 yahoo and 1 hotmail.  I have checked spam box also.

For the Receipts app I chose to export the info as a PDF file..an email was requested..I entered info and clicked send.  For the Business Card app I chose Send, not Print..an email was requested..I entered info and clicked send.  I haven't received anything, not even in my spam folder.

  • Problem exporting Prores proxy files in CS6

I have a bunch of Apple Prores proxy files which were created from RAW DNG files in DaVinci Resolve. I have completed an edit of a music video with these files in Premiere Pro CS6. However when I try to export the files from the timeline, the exported file seems to have linked to all the wrong clips, and the whole video seems to be a random mish-mash of clips. The timecodes of the clips all seems accurate, and they display perfectly within CS6 and in quicktime.
Wondering why the clips display fine on the timeline, allowing me to edit the video in-sync, however will not export properly?

First configure Problems Reports and Solutions in Control panel to Check for Solutions automatically and Automatically send more information. Then check if there are fixes available for your application. If there are then download and install them.
Make sure your Window Operating system has all the latest service packs, security updates and other fixes installed.
Most applications have a Check for Updates feature. Use it to make sure you have the latest version of the S/W. Alternatively visit the company website and check for new versions and patches.
Run an up-to-date virus checker on the machine and fix any issues. If a virus is detected in the application then you may need to reinstall the application.
Re-install the application. Through Control Panel \ Programs \ Uninstall a program. Right click the application and click Uninstall / Change. This should launch the installer which may give the option to Repair the installation. If not then you will need to uninstall and reinstall - make sure you have the original installation discs available before uninstalling.
Disable any Virtual Drive software that may be hooking in to the application. If the problem goes away, contact the developer of the Virtual Drive software.
Disable any Virus checkers on your machine (temporarily) and run the application again. If the problem goes away, contact the developer of the Virus Checking software.
Check if the problem is reproducible (after a reboot). If it is, then attempt to narrow down the exact steps that cause the fault, write them down and contact the support department for the company that developed the application providing as much information about the crash and what you have done so far to attempt to resolve the issue.

  • Exporting video from media encoder. Half of the video export other half goes blank/black

Hi! I'm in need of help I've been trying to export this video to media encoder for about 20days now. I'm working with premiere pro cs5.5 and after effects cs5.5-
Dynamic link, I've updated the two and everything, every time I try to export my video half willl export and I believe after effects crashes and thats when the other
half of the video goes blank/black, this happens everytime, it's very frustrating and I don't know what is causing this. it actually just started.
it also does this on cs5 as well.
    I am working on windows 7 HPE-510y Hewlett-Packard computer
    14gb of ram

Have you checked the output in AME? I always check that before I hit go to make sure that I haven't fouled something up and that the in and out points are what I want. I spot check all along the timeline.
I'm thinking that you have some parts of the Premiere Pro project that are shots or sequences that have been "Replaced with After Effects Composotion." If this is the case, does the blackness happen in one of these shots? If it does I'd suggest trying to render that shot in AE and replace it in the PPro Timeline. If After Effects is really crashing you'll be able to find out why.
A little more detail about your project would also help.

  • FCPx 10.0.3 (exporting video, "proxy" - "original")

When you import video into FCPx and create proxy video from your original video, you must remember afterwards to change in the settings to "use proxy video when editing video", or else in defulte settings you use the original, even if you chosen "create proxy" in import video.
Then I noticed when exporting the finnished work that you have to remember to change back to original video in settings before encodning (exporting) the video, to the original video and  highest quality, otherwise you are encodning in proxy quality, and you will have a poor quality of the finished product.
Wish Apple would warn about this when encodningen with folowing message "do you want to change proxy video to export with the original video instead", or that this is done automatically, or to say the Apple words "it (should) just work".
It chould be common sence that the user wants to use proxy if chosen, for HQ HD material, for better working flow and export in original when finnish with project.
(otherwise very happy with the new layout for FCPx, feldt in the beggining like an amateurprogram, but now feels more and more professional, i have jumped from Adobe Premiere CS4 to FCPx).

I have written this to "Apple FCPx" (Provide FCPx Feedback), but for now I am writing this as information for those who wonder why the quality of the video does not get good at the finished product when encoading is done.
(Thats why i have written it here on Apple "diuscussion")

  • Create a 24fps export from 23.976fps sequence

I have a 23.976 sequence (built from DPX files exported from SpeedGrade and also with title clips) within Premiere Pro CC.
I want to export the sequence at 24fps and I'm not sure how to do that best.  I'm not concerned about audio (I already have stems from a sound designer that have been converted in Pro Tools to 24fps).
I have a ProRes 422 master file that I suppose I could import back into Premiere, modify the frame rate with "Interpret Footage", and then add to a 24fps timeline and re-export.  But that involves an extra generation. I can't just export and set the frame rate to 24, can I?
Any thoughts on the best way to do this to preserve quality?  Thank you.

I'd move the clips over to a 24 fps sequence, and then export from there.

  • How to export a Proxy video in MP4 and H.264

What's Proxy file, how does it look like? I know how to export mp4 and compress it with H.264, but what else should be included to make it a Proxy file from FCP6?
    Thanks,
    ZM

A "proxy" is just a lower resolution video file. It can be an MP4, or H.264, or any other flavor of Qt that is lower resolution than the master file. A timecode window burn in would be helpful.
www.imagineproducts.com has a great application that does this for you...automated. ProxieMill will make proxies from either captured media, or P2 cards...VERY useful

  • Why does the export time keep going up?

I'm exporting a movie I made and it's about 54 minutes in length and when it first started to load it said about 350 minutes or more and now its been loading for well over an hour and a half and I saw it go down to like 315 minutes and now its going up to 329 as we speak. Is this normal? Thanks

    Is this normal?
Frequently yes, it is. Compression formats like H.264 are very CPU intensive to begin with and, depending on the content being converted at any given moment may, depending on your computer, be only processing say 12-15 frames per second. With a change is scenery, this figure may double or be halved at any instance in time. Since the estimated time to completing is constantly be recomputed and updated, this estimate can vary drastically. For instance, most files start off with a black slug period that processes very quickly but then runs into a more graphically complex scene with or without dramatice changes in vector motion. This greatly slows down the processing and you begin to see wide swings in these estimations. However, as the conversion compress the excursions on the "average" estimation become less varied and more accurate.

  • Export CSV Cmdlet goes to infinite loop

I'm trying to aggregate data from various CSV's into one using the following line of code
    “ ls -n *.csv | %{ ipcsv $_} | epcsv allinone.csv -NoTypeInformation “
It worked fine until I changed the exported csv name to OneWorldFile.csv. It looks like PS lands into an infinite loop and appends the data into the CSV. I’ll have to eventually halt the process.
    “ ls -n *.csv | %{ ipcsv $_} | epcsv OneWorldFile.csv -NoTypeInformation “
Here is the screenshot for your verification : http://note.io/1pNoee3. Is there any reason for this behaviour? Did I miss something?
Thank you in advance for your reply.
    Vimal.

Thank you, Noah.  I've understood what causes this behaviour -> Parallel Processing.
I did get an interesting reply from powershell.org forum (http://bit.ly/Tzoy3R) and the problem sorts out if pipeline is not used. Thanks to Mike F Robbins.

  • Export param UI goes wrong when exporting sequence?

    Hi,
I'm making an exporter plug-in using Premiere Pro SDK 5.5.
I'm adding some parameters in exSelGenerateDefaultParams. These including some tabs, groups and params in each group.
But when exporting in sequence, the UI messed up, all the tab and group names don't show,  excluding the audio and video tab (which name already defined in PrSDKExportParamSuite.h).
Sorry guys edited: the params name do shows, but not the groups and tabs names.
When I export the file (clicking the file and Ctrl+M), the groups & tabs names show nomally.
Another note, I removed some of Premiere already defined commons param like video width(ADBEVideoWidth), height (ADBEVideoHeight), or audio channels (ADBEAudioNumChannels), sample rate (ADBEAudioRatePerSecond), pretty much everything except for ADBETopParamGroup, ADBEVideoTabGroup, and ADBEAudioTabGroup. Since I have no need for them in my plug-in.
Is the removal of those param the cause of my problem? Or something else? I'll very appreciate if any one encountered the same problems or have knowledge about them would help me.
    Thanks

    Thanks, Rally
I set up all my tabs and groups and params in GenDefaultPam(), only the group and tabs name are wrong, and only for second export onward.
Curently trying the caching, but as far as i increased the ParamVersion, nothing has changed.
And I noticed some other thing: Even the params are displayed normally in second export, its value range is mesed up too. For example, if "MyAwesomeParam" has min value of 10 and max value of 20, at first export if I enter 0, it jumps to 10 because the entered value is smaller than the min value. But in second export, if I enter 0, it stays 0.
It is getting more and more confusing really.

  • ON EXPORT WIDESCREEN/LETTERBOX GOES AWAY?

Everything when I am editing looks good, it is in widescreen etc. I shot HD with a 1080i 60. When I go to capture using the Easy Setup for 1080 60i everything looks fine, and when I edit everything is fine as well. Its just when its time to export whether I use quicktime or compressor, the final exported video is stretched and is no longer in widescreen or contains the letterboxing. If anyone could help with this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks,
    DP

I use compressor, and export the same way I always have done so I am confident it doesnt have anything to do with the export settings, I feel it is something so simple like im not doing something I need to do because its in HD or something along those lines. When it did work however Everytime I added any video, I had to render it. Now when I add video to the timeline, it doesnt need rendering unless an effect is used on it. Maybe I captured differently than the first time as well. Im confused and please if you think its something very obvious dont hesitate to say it, expect it being the simplest problem when it comes to me and FCP. Thanks!

  • CR7 Export from Viewer goes AWOL

    Post Author: david.hawkins-mcdowell
    CA Forum: Exporting
We have a VB6 app that has been happily generating reports using CR7 for a number of years.
In the past few weeks we have noticed that when exporting a report from the Viewer (using the Viewer's export functionality) the export vanishes without trace - yet only for Reports that use Stored Procs with Parameters.
On pressing export we get the first dialog (to select the format and destination). When OK is pressed, no further dialogs are shown, no errors are displayed. In fact the viewer remains open and continues as normal.
We are not sure if a recent XP update may have had an impact or whether another environments issue is likely.
    Has anyone encountered anything similar?

    Post Author: david.hawkins-mcdowell
    CA Forum: Exporting
We've since found that the problem appears to be with a null being passed to the Stored proc. As a workaround, we've changed the procs and forced values into the parameters where null was working fine beforehand.
Just to clarify, the report displays in the viewer ok, it's the export from the viewer that was causing the problem.

  • QT exports but audio goes out of synch... Fixable?

I'm exporting some rather large timelines to QuickTime from FCP 6 and all of the resulting QT files are losing audio synch. Actually the audio tracks are stretching, it seems: the audio tracks are LONGER than the corresponding video track, each time. Longer by 1 to 2 seconds.
    SOME FACTORS
My files are around 25 minutes long.
I'm preserving my current settings when exporting with QT.
codec XDCAM EX 1080p24 35mbs VBR
    frame rate 23.98
    frame size 1920x1080
    48.0khz audio
Is it simply that I shouldn't try to export files that are this big? I searched the existing archives. One person had the exact same problem, apparently, but there were no replies.
    Anyone know the situation here?
    Shanked

    Hey Venturesome,
I've heard of things "floating" out of synch whenever you're exporting to QT with files of a particular length or longer. Back in the day, this magic file length was 5 minutes. I have no idea what the current magic maximum is... or if there even IS a maximum. If you've got synch issues inside your timeline without even exporting, I wonder if it may be you're using mixed media.
But I defer to the forum at large on this -- anyone know why our audio and video tracks float out of synch upon exporting (or in this other case, non exporting)?

  • My proxy goes back to automatic proxy after i change it

When i change my proxy and do what i want i then turn off my computer. I later then go back on my computer and the proxy has changed back. how do I fix this problem? is there a lock on the setting that I don't notice or is there some way that i can fix this.

There is software like Advanced SystemCare with its Surfing Protection feature that can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes.
If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
