27" Display Atlona AT-DP400 + ATI 5970 = 720p only?

After the wife was nice enough to pick up two of these displays I went ahead and ordered a AT-DP400. I needed this because the ATI 5970 only has 1 Mini Displayport.
After speaking the Atlona on the issue of the monitor not getting full resolution and only 720p he informed me that there is an issue with the EDID in the DP400. They are working with ATI and apple.
As of today they do not have a fix. Has anyone else ran into this issue and fixed it to work over Dual dvi to mini-Displayport?
This is on a PC (Running bootcamp with latest updates)

i have the same problem with my windows 7 64 bit system.
i have installed a
PowerColor HD 5750 Low Profile 1 GB
i use the dp400 adapter from atlona too
i can only set a resolution of 720p
but when i remove all ati drivers and use the standard vga graphic adapter i can choose a higher resolution of 19??x1440
and it works
but when i install the original driver of ati it doesnt work only 720p
but i use the dvi-i adapter on my graphic card.
has anyone good news for me?

You should be able to link your phone number by following the steps in the article below. From your iPhone, sign out of FaceTime and iMessage and then sign back in and it should link. Check in the Start Conversation With and I Can Be Reached at section in iMessage and FaceTime respectively.

No its not normal. I'm not sure how big these bright spots are, but it could be a hardware problem. Without more details, I would suggest that you take it to an Apple Store or take it back to wherever you bought it and let the, evaluate the iPad.

This is a known, ans ongoing issue. Rest assured you're not the only one affected. There are several threads here already discussing this, I suggest searhing them out if you want more details, and possible work-arounds for locally hosted content.

There is a requirement in which we get Program name and smart form name from table TNAPR.Now the smart form contains 2 pages.We have to check condition in the program and based on the condition we have to Display either ( first and second page ) or only second page of the smart form.

Adobe Premiere CS5 ATI 5970

Well i was using premeire today and 2 mins in my computer shut off with no warning. Turned it back on then it frooze had to turn it off, 3rd time driver display stopped working and then i had to send task it. What gives? Is it because it is trying to use the GPU accelration and ati does not support it so it just keeps crashing?

I can assure you my machine is stable as a rock.
Also at the beggining when you start a new project and it shows you where it is going to save all that stuff i had moved that folder to an empty hard drive, as i didnt want it taking up room on my ssd.

also it is not installed on the same drive my os is installed on if that makes a difference.
Most Adobe program really, really want to be installed on C:\. The folder does not matter, but for most of the apps. C:\ is important.
I also agree that a systemic shutdown first indicates a hardware issue. In general, they shake out like this:
1.) heat
2.) RAM
3.) PSU
4.) MoBo
5.) other cards
I'd check out each of those to rule them out first. This ARTICLE will point you to some useful tools for checking out HW issues.
If all checks out, then this ARTICLE might give you some tips on finding clues as to what is happening on your system at the time of the crashes.
Though you mention ATI, you also mention "gaming." Going back a bit, several nVidia video drivers had issues with some "gamer-only" modules, and Adobe software. Do not recall any mention of similar with ATI/AMD cards and drivers, but you might want to check all modules and settings in your Catalyst console.

NVIDIA display over HDMI and ATI sound over HDMI using one mainboard

Hello everyone,
I was curious to know if it is possible to use a setup where I use an NVIDIA card to send display over HDMI to my receiver and at the same time I use an internal ATI chip to send audio over HDMI to the same receiver.
In my setup it is a GA-MA78GM-S2H mainboard with a built in ATI HD3200 IGP and an NVIDIA 9500GT GPU and I'll be using XBMC as media centre.
The problem is there is no hardware acceleration support for the display of full-hd (1080p 24) for the ATI chip, whereas NVIDIA using VDPAU is.
On the other hand the 9500GT doen not support audio over HDMI (unlike the newer models like GT210 or GT220), I can connect SPDIF to the NVIDIA card to allow some sort of audio over HDMI, but in that case I'll still have the bandwidth limitation associated with SPDIF.
I tried to set up a box with both NVIDIA and catalyst drivers to use the above functions, but when I try to install catalyst drivers I get a hardware conflict notice that NVIDIA and Catalyst drivers cannot be installed at the same time on the same system.
AFAIK I need the catalyst drivers (or hd-radeon) in order for also to recognize the device (?)
Anyone any information if installing both drivers is required and possible? Or are there any other methods to achieve such set up?

ATI 5970 in a 2010 Mac Pro?

Seen a little about this, also have seen some people put them in older Mac Pros.
I am guessing the 5970 needs a 6 and 8 pin power adapters.
Anyone done this? Does it work?

Reading setup guide for ate it makes reference on tv compatibility connecting to those sets capable of displaying video up to 1080p and 720p. Does this rule out 1080i. We currently watch blue ray on it, obviously not as rich as a 1080p box would display

most tv's which support 1080i also support 720p it's basicly the same signal where 1080i just fake a higher res by making the signal interlaced
