28 page Designer 7 .pdf form only shows one page in Acrobat 8

Help!
We have .pdf's that were generated with Designer 7.1, containing filled-in form data, but they cannot be viewed under Acrobat 8.1.
For example, a 28 page .pdf displays OK under Acrobat 6 (with warnings) and Acrobat 7 (error-free) ... but only displays one, blank page (with no errors and no warnings) under Acrobat 8.
Does anybody have any idea why Acrobat 8.1 is only displaying one page instead of the full 28 pages seen with Acrobat 6 or Acrobat 7?

1. The "Adobe Acrobat" forums ultimately point back to "Adobe Reader" - and this forum. There doesn't appear to be any separate forum for "Adobe Acrobat".
2. Thank you for the suggestion about Lifecycle Designer.
I tried to download LifeCycle Designer, but the link pointed to exactly the same "ar 8.1.2" download I'm currently having the problem with. Do I need "Lifecycle Enterprise"?
3. I've tried multiple different versions of Acrobat Reader 8.1.x, and even Acrobat 8/Pro. They all show only one page: no errors, but no data, either.
Acrobat 6 and 7, however, show a full 28 pages. Even Linux shows all 28 pages (and reports no errors or warnings in the .pdf). Do you have any idea what could account for this?

Not sure if this is possible (or if this is the right place to ask), but I need to take a multiple page pdf, embed it in a website so its on the left half of the screen, have it only show one page at a time, and have the forward and back page controls.
Is this possible, and if so, could someone point me in the right direction?

Typically you would save it to a JPeg and post those on the web site. Expecting a PDF to show up depends on the client computer configuration and browser. This is too risky, unless you don't mind getting nasty little notes that it does not work. If you do it with JPegs, then all the browsers I know of can handle it. Then simply put the PDF separately for those who prefer to download the PDF and look at it separately.

PDF is only showing even page #'s

Converted Word doc to pdf. Only even page #'s are showing in pdf ... Why? How do I correct this?

Pat, I clicked the "Export as PDF" in my Word program (located under "File".
Page numbers were physically typed into the footer (all appropriate directives were initiated to allow this). When same Word file was converted into a PDF using a client conversion program all page #'s showed as indicated.

i finally got it to work. i went through all my apps and tried to think of anything that could interfere, including iBooks, and removed them using iTunes. I then hard reset my phone and checked to see if i could at least view them as i used to (iBooks) and i was. i then put iBooks back on my phone, checked a PDF in mail and was able to quicklook it or open in iBooks. i was able to then add the other apps back with out losing the functionality.

Printing a web page results in several pages when it should only be one page. How to adjust?

When I try to print a web page, the result is several partial pages. I've tried to adjust the scaling, but nothing seems to work. Where do I go to make this type of adjustment?

Three possible causes. 
1. The page is made with Frames and each Frame is printing separately. If you right click the page you would see a menu item for '''This Frame ''', if that page has Frames. You'll see that on this test page. http://www.draac.com/framestest.html
2. A wide page margin setting. You might be able to see that in Page Setup > Margins/Header&Footer, but some printers manage to get weird settings that don't show up there. When you look in about:config these prefs are way off print.printer_''printer-name''_Printer.print_margin_left and print.printer_''printer-name''_Printer.print_margin_right
3. A non-standard '''Paper Size''' is set in Properties for that printer as viewed through Firefox. Might set to Custom or to a Photo size.

Make sure you reset all the prefs for that particular printer.

Hi,
You may open the original form in FormsCentral and toggle to “Page View” at the lower right corner. Adjust the page content to make sure no page breaks in this view.

If you have sent a test print via ePrint, and experience this issue, i would call the Cloud Services department.
If ePrint works fine, it is definitely a Google Cloud Print issue.
Also, when you print from your android device, are you using Google Cloud print or the HP ePrint app?

Remember, most people don't have software for editing PDF files at all. They will not want to buy Acrobat just to edit your ebook.
Otherwise, I think you need to learn about form fields. This allows you to decide where it is to be typed in. You can allow filling and request editing is not allowed. You need to understand exactly what software can and can't fill in forms, and what can and can't save the result; it changes with versions of Adobe Reader.
Remember too that some software ignores your security settings anyway.

InDesign CS5 only prints one page at a time.

InDesign CS5 only prints one page at a time. No multiple copies. Each page in a document has to be printed one at a time. I didn't have this problem with any version before this. No matter what I do, change settings, etc. I still have the same outcome. How do I work around this problem so I can print a 5 copies of a 3 page document without having to do each copy of each page one at a time.

Sounds like a printer driver issue. Can you export to PDF and print that correctly?

Show One Page at a Time Default

Is there a way every time I open a pdf document the
default view will go to "show one page at a time" function?

Go to Edit and select Preferences (Ctrl+K). Under categories, select "Page Display". Choose "single page" from the page layout drop down box under "Default layout and Zoom". Under Zoom, choose "fit page" and click OK.

Are you using Bluetooth or USB cable to connect to the printer? Did you install from the disc, or from the online program? When it sits there and doesn't print, does it eventually give error messages, lights flashing, etc.?

Google images only showing first page. Any solutions yet?

I've recently come across this problem of Google images only showing the first page of images with the rest being blank grey boxes.
After trawling the web for days it seems this has been an ongoing problem for many for several months now but I haven't seen any solutions that have worked for me.
I've cleared the cache and temp files, I've un-checked 'disable or replace context menus' on firefox etc.
It seems to run ok on ie8 but I prefer to use Firefox if at all possible.
Is there a solution out there?
I am on XP Pro sp3 using FF 3.6.11

Hi Lena,
a very important thing to understand when working with Oracle APEX is that it is a Webbrowser-Application and behaves exactly like this. APEX just generates a HTML Page and lets the Browser deal with it.
When you press a submit button the whole page (all form input elements) are sent from the browser to the server where APEX processes them.
You can't really influence this behaviour.
But you can work with REQUEST-Keywords and conditional processes, so that only those processes are executed (and therefor save data) you want to.
Btw. the REQUEST Keyword is set by the button, there it is defined which REQUEST is set when submitting the page.

Sorry, I don't think I made myself clear on what I am trying to do. I am looking for a way to do this process a lot quicker. Sometimes these agendas could be 100 pages. Since I can only select text from one page at a time from the PDF after I scan it, this takes up so much time. What I am looking for is a way to open up the PDF file after scanning and be able to select text from all the pages and cut and paste into word. For example:
I scan 20 pages and save to PDF
I can view all 20 pages - pages 1 to 20
I want to highlight text starting at the beginning of Page 1 and ending on the last word on page 20?
Cut and paste everything into word
Is there a way to do this or should I be using another Adobe product to accomplish?
