[28035] Error with a GPRS connection

Hi to all,
We always have this problem using GPRS connection calling the sync web service with HTTPS protocol whereas HTTP is always functionning (on both mode : GPRS/wired).
System.Data.SqlServerCe.SqlCeError: Internal error: HTTP header information is either corrupted or missing in the transport message. It could be a network transmission error or an IIS problem.<u5:p></u5:p>
\tError Code =28035<u5:p></u5:p>
\tHResult = -2147012746
Technical informations:
PDA on Windows Mobile 6.5
SQL CE 3.5 SP2
Device : Motorola MC 65/55
SQL Server 2008 R2
We believe that the reverse proxy is involved because when the PDA is using wired connection, no reverse proxy is used because we are already in the company network. Indeed:
GPRS mode : PDA <-> firewall <-> RP <-> Web servers <-> SQL Servers
Wired mode : PDA <-> Web server <-> SQL Servers
Didier.

Nothing concrete, other than what bing can find:

  • How to reach a web server with a GPRS connection?

    Hello,
    We have developed a cRio Datalogger and we control it by a remote panel with the cRio connected in our LAN.
    Now we want to do the same connecting the cRio with a GPRS Modem-Router from Multitech (a Multimodem with DynDns capabilities). The problem is that our provider of GPRS service give a private IP, so we can't access the cRio from internet.
    We did a test with an example that comes with Labview, a multiclient TCP connection, we run the client vi in a PC connected to internet with the GPRS Modem and the server in another PC in our LAN. The example runs perfect. In the client vi we added some indicators to show the network address an the remote port, but we can't open a remote panel of the client vi from the PC running the server vi, using the information collected. The network address it isn't a IP number is a name and for our surprise the remote port number is diferent that the port used by the example.
    Conclusion, we can do a TCP/IP connection if the communication is started by the Device with the GPRS Modem but we can't do the opposite. The problem is the same to have a web server running in a PC in a LAN and want to reach it from internet without having access to the router configuration.
    And because the remote front panel connection is started by the PC who want to open it we can't make it work.
    Any idea, is possible what we want to do?
    Using:
    LV 8.5.1
    Thanks

    Hello,
    We solved the problem using a SIM with movil wide band enabled. With that service, the cell phone company give a public IP address (here in Argentine).

  • Mush/Audio Errors with MacMini (2012) connected via Firewire with Motu 828mk3

    Hi,
    just bought a Mac Mini (actual model) and wanted to connect my Motu 828 mk3 via Firewire for audio recording. BUT, via FW there are audio errors/mush (sounds like electrical mush) in all the audio outputs. Via USB its all o.k. ! The Motu works fine with an 2008 MacBook Pro on Firewire!
    Has anyone the same problem with audio interfaces on macs using firewire, especially on the actual Mac mini? Is it a problem of the Mac (Mini) Firewire port?
    The Mac Mini has installed the latest Motu drivers and the latest version of OS X Lion. The problem exists in all audio applications (Cubase, AudioDesk, Wavelab, even iTunes).
    Thanks for your help/answers and best regards.

    The problem stems from the Mac (in my case Mac Mini Server 2011).
    Apparently, as I read in various forums looking for Mac and Logic, the new models of Mac Mini (2011) have lowered the voltage Firewire.
    I have the same problem with my new Track-16.
    I can only work fine with USB connection.
    Either we change the computer model, or users of Mac Mini (2011) we can forget a Firewire connection powerful and efficient.
    Only remains for me try to connect to an external HD Motu firewire 800 which is connected to the Mac Mini previously. I guess the external HD, to be powered via AC, will have enough voltage to the Motu.
    Best regards.

  • HDCP Error with HDMI-VGA connections

    We have been using Apple TV 3 Software Version 7.0.2(6915) for connecting the Apple TV to classroom projectors that have a VGA port in. This was working perfectly till last week, and it seems a new software update was pushed to the Apple TV device now we get "This Content Requires HDCP for playback". Tried multiple different options of soft and hard reboots, resets and restarts nothing helps. Connecting the same Apple TV using HDMI-HDMI cable works fine. We are using Kanex HDMI-VGA adapter. If someone has the same issue please write back since there have 26 Apple TVs in the school and is being actively used by instructors to project their work to the class.

    As far as I know, 7.0.2(6915) is the latest software version & nothing new has been pushed out by Apple since its release months ago.
    You problem is most likely exactly what the error message indicates: the content (for example commercial movies from a streaming service or an iTunes library) you are trying play on the ATV is protected by the HDCP encryption standard, so unless the Kanex adaptor supports HDCP internally, the ATV will not output the protected content to it.
    I looked on the Kanex website to see if they claim the ATV Pro adaptor supports HDCP but nothing there says if it does or doesn't. Also, one of the U.S. Apple Store questions about the device has conflicting answers for that, so I suggest you contact Kanex directly for a more definitive answer & perhaps some help with the issue.
    Failing that, you could try your setup with some content you know is not protected by HDCP (like a home movie in an iTunes library). If that works, then the problem almost certainly is that the Kanex doesn't support HDCP & you will not be able to use it with any content so protected.

  • Error with opening a connection to a url (for cgi use)

    i still am having trouble using a cgi executable on my server, but i cant seem to narrow down what my problem is.
    i followed the following tutorial, but am still getting errors.
    http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/networking/urls/readingWriting.html
                  //  first of all, am I doing this right? all the examples leave out the '.cgi' at the end, why?
                  //does it matter? i tried both ways, i even tried with the ?var1=something stuff at the end. nope.
                  url = new URL("http://www.somewhere.com/" + "write.cgi");
                  urlConnection = url.openConnection();
                  urlConnection.setDoOutput(true);
                  // here is where I get an IOException error ----  error.getCause() yields an output of null
                  PrintWriter out = new PrintWriter(urlConnection.getOutputStream());
                  // i also am not sure how sending to the cgi works. my cgi file was written to parse a string
                  // such as this: "http://www.somewhere.com/fileio.cgi?field1=something&field2=something+else"
                  out.println("whatever i need to send it")
                  out.close();is it possible i'm getting this error because my cgi file isnt set up right? i am confident that it is ok, but i dont know for sure, nor do i know how to test it. typing in
    /fileio.cgi?field1=something&field2=something+else into the working directory of my webpage yields an error that says something like that page isnt readable. i had hoped i could test the cgi this way...is there another way?
    thanks!

    Using the URLConnection output stream doesn't append attributes to the url. If you want to send parameters on the url use
    url = new URL("http://www.somewhere.com/write.cgi?field1=something&field2=something+else");

  • Error with web services connection to B1 DI API

    We are attempting to utilize the web services connection to SAP Business One and are running into difficulty.  Below are the particulars:
    -   We are attempting to make a web services connection to B1 using PHP on Linux.
    -   We are able to establish a session, but not able to make a successful web services request.
    -   The attempted action is to add a Business Partner
    -   Error we are receiving:
    SoapFault exception: Not Found in /var/www/test.php:83 Stack trace: #0 : SoapClient->__doRequest('__call('Add', Array) #2 /var/www/test.php(83): SoapClient->Add(Array) #3
    -         We are also able make a successful web services request to the same B1 server using ASP from Windows.
    -         Once we establish a session through PHP / Linux, the DI Server will not respond to either PHP or ASP on Windows
    Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Russell,
    Since you are getting a "SoapFault Exception", you must be trying to use SOAP messaging.  The DI API does not understand SOAP messages.  You would need to use the DI Server (SDK Help has information on DI Server) for SOAP based messaging and in turn you may also want to look at the Business One Web Services (B1WS) tool that s located in the Tools section of the SAP Business One main page here on SDN.

  • Error with iTunes when connecting for first time.

    Here is the error that I get when I connect my phone to my computer:
    The software required for iPhone is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes. then install iTunes again.
    I have the latest version on iTunes installed (7.3). I have tried removing itunes and reinstalling 4 or 5 times. Evan restarted my computer few times too. I'm running Vista so not sure if that's the problem.

    Hi Bigrash,
    Close iTunes, and disconnect your iPhone from your computer.
    Go to "Control Panel", and go into "Programs".
    Select "Installed Programs".
    Here, find "Apple Mobile Device Support" from the list, and click on it. From the "File" menu, select "Change/Remove", and then click "Remove".
    After that application has been fully uninstalled, go to this page, to download another copy of the iTunesSetup.exe installer:
    Download iTunes - 7.3.0.54
    After you've downloaded the iTunes installation pack again, launch iTunes, and connect your iPhone.
    Do you still get that same error message, or not?

  • 6230i wierd error with phone when connecting to bl...

    I have had it working on my old computer, and now when i am trying to get it to work on this new computer, i get this error...

    The new PC Suite will want the older version uninstalled first.
    I suggest doing a backup of your phone contents.
    Then backup your PC (if running XP set up a system restore point).
    Copy the existing PC Suite folder (and contents) into a zip file - you need to stop PC Suite from loading automatically to make sure you can copy all the files.
    Then install the new PC Suite.
    If the PC copies of the images etc are no longer present then copy them back from the zip file.
    But....
    Before you do all that - make sure your PC Bluetooth drivers and firmware are up to date. The 6230i only uses 'Component' key pairing whereas most existing (older) equipment uses 'Unit' key pairing.
    Also the Microsoft XP SP2 Bluetooth is Microsofts version of Bluetooth which is not entirely compatible with everyone elses Bluetooth.
    The latest Belkin Bluetooth firmware and software does work with the 6230i.
    goodluck

  • Difficulty syncing and sharing 3G/GPRS connection with NokiaN75 post 10.5.2

    Prior to 10.5.2 (Feb. '08) I was easily able to use isync and share my Nokia's 3G/GPRS connection with the MacBook Pro. Whenever I needed to access the Internet or check my email, I could easily and simply establish the connection with the phone via Bluetooth and use the phone's access to the Internet. While not blazing fast, it was quicker than dial up and worked well when traveling and when you didn't want to pay $12.95 for 24 hour access...
    Since 10.5.2 I believe, I have had difficulty syncing - I get error messages saying that the synchronization failed. I can no longer connect and share the 3G connection, - an error message about PPP...Can anyone suggest a work around or perhaps Apple's engineering can put in a fix in 10.5.3??? Downloading the isync plug in from Nokia had no benefit...Thank you in advance...

    Actually I was answering Paul who does have an iMac but it doesn't matter one way or the other - the same answer applies. Odd that you have the same settings in security and sharing but it doesn't work in one direction. Are you sure you are using the right password? Have you attempted sharing with a different account on that computer?

  • I get an error message when trying to install windows 7 on my macbook pro. The message says "windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer. I don't have anything connected to my computer. How do I fix this?

    I'm trying to install windows 7 on my macbook pro. I went through the process of bootcamp telling it to install windows 7. Once the windows boot manager started an error message came up. The error message says " windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer. I don't have a usb connected to my computer. I  am using windows 7 professional install disc. I  can't figure out what i am doing wrong. The same message keeps coming up over and over. Am I doing something wrong or is it something else?

    Well, shucks, i just spent almost 30 minutes trying to find your model user guide to explain it better, I guess they never got around to making it.....
    I would just borrow another Windows disk and try installing it again and if it does it again then you might take it to an Apple Store and see if one of the "Genius' " can figure it out.
    Make sure your internet is enabled and click on your blank desktop and at the top of your screen is a Help menu option, enter PRAM and it should give you a list of things relating to Pram. It may take a few seconds to list anything as it has to connect to Apples severs first. It should list the things you may have to fill back in when your done.
    "P-ram" stores some common information that is used in the background, your date, time, startup disk, etc, that you don't have to re-fill when you restart, it's a little different for each computer.

  • New error with upgrade jboss/tomcat: "Connection handle has been closed and is unusable"

    Hi,
    This error suddenly appeared when we upgraded from jboss3/tomcat5.0 to jboss4.2/tomcat5.5.

    1) User clicks on report link
    2) Crystal reports web componnent displays screen to fill in report parameters.
    3) user enters parameters and clicks submit
    4) System throws Exception
    The same reports worked fine with jboss 3.2.6/tomcat 5.0. We haven't touched anything in this realm.

    To try to narrow down the problem, I've updated the jdbc configuration to
         <track-statements>true</track-statements>
    here's a recap:
    This Boolean element specifies whether to check for unclosed statements when a connection is returned to the pool. If it is true, a warning message is issued for each unclosed statement. If the log4j category org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.WrappedConnection has trace level enabled, a stack trace of the connection close call is logged as well. This is a debug feature that can be turned off in production.
    Interestingly enough, this error appears slightly upstream:

    <p>
    OK. I found the problem along with a workaround.
    </p>
    <p>
    <strong>The problem:</strong>
    </p>
    <p>
    a programming practice clashes with a new jboss 'safety check'.
    </p>
    <p>
    <strong>Programming practice:</strong>
    </p>
    <p>
    crystal reports gets a database connection in one jsp page, then tries to use it on another jsp/servlet
    </p>
    <p>
    <strong>Jboss safety check:</strong>
    Jboss/tomcat new comes configured out-of-the-box with a 'cached connection
    manager', which
    </p>
    <p>
    "Check[s] for unclosed connections and transaction terminated checks in servlets/jsps."
    </p>
    <p>
    <strong> Summary</strong>
    </p>
    <p>
    In short, if a servlet/jsp ends and it leaves a database connection open, Jboss will automatically close it.
    </p>
    <p>
    </p>
    <p>
    <strong>Workaround:</strong><br />
    Comment out two entries in these two files:
    </p>
    <p>
    1) conf/jboss4/pe/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/server.xml
    </p>
    <p>
    2) conf/jboss4/pe/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/META-INF/jboss-service.xml
    </p>
    <p>
    The two entries:
    </p>
    <p>
    </p>
    <p>
    1)
    </p>
    <p>
                 <Valve className="org.jboss.web.tomcat.service.jca.CachedConnectionValve"<br />
                    cachedConnectionManagerObjectName="jboss.jca:service=CachedConnectionManager"<br />
                    transactionManagerObjectName="jboss:service=TransactionManager" /><br />
    </p>
    <p>
    2)
    </p>
    <p>
          <depends>jboss.jca:service=CachedConnectionManager</depends><br />
    </p>
    <p>
    </p>
    <p>
    <strong>Comments on the workaround</strong>
    </p>
    <p>
    The 'cached connection manager' basically makes sure that the application cleans up after bad programmers. It seems most helpful in development, load testing, or trouble shooting.
    </p>
    <p>
    In production,  you can likely  comment them out with minimal
    impact on the application.
