i am doing my final year project under digital image processing. i am doing enhancement using discrete wavelet transform and bicubic interpolation.i completed using discrete wavelet transform to seperate the image into four subbands.these four subband images are 2D signal.i need to use this as an input to IMAQ Reshape.i got struck at this stage.i need ur help to know how to use this 2D as an image input in IMAQ reshape.

Usually the height: Color[][] image = new Color[r][c];[I know you're not going to use a Color array :)]
In some way this is strange, since you're saying y/x, but with text arrays, the printing is a lot easier!

Dividing incoming train of pulse signals into individual pulse signals

Hello,
I am acquiring the pulse signals using DAQ with sample rate of 500Hz.In the attached image the first signal corresponds to 1 second duration samples of pulse signal and second with 10 second duration collected using collector.Now I want to divide and save this incoming pulse signal as periods such that each period contains a pulse signals.The main problem is that the each incoming samples of 1 sec duration doesn't actually contain a single pulse but sometimes contains the two half's corresponding to two different pusle signals.
Can I know how to divide this incoming samples so that I can save the last four pulse signals in four periods so that they can be used to average the current pusle signal to make it better if it doesn't have the same shape or very different amplitude to the previuos one's.

I want to divide the signal into periods such that it contains sample values(amplitude) from the satrting index of a pulse to the next index of another pulse as shown in the attached image.

Uploading my site to Adobe Business Catalyst and I noticed that it turns all my text into images? Why does it do that and is there a way to prevent it from happening?

I don't mind that Muse does this upon uploading my website, but once my text becomes an image on my site, it creates a light halo around my text making it fuzzy. Is there a way to prevent Muse from changing my text into images?

I believe you are using System fonts for the text in the site. I would suggest you to use either Web safe fonts or use self hosted font options.

Why is it that when I saved the waveform of my acquired signal into a wav file, the output waveform of my saved file turn out to be different from my input signal?

I am currently doing a heart sound analyzer project. I acquired signal using NI USB 6008 continuosly. My program is able to saved the acquired signal into a wave file. But when I browse open the saved file, the output waveform did not look the same as the acquired input signal and also the sound of the heartbeat captured cannot be heard from the loud speaker though I have saved the file as a wav file. I am not sure if the method i use to save the acquired data as a wav file is correct. I have attach the print screen of the differences of the output I have notice and the program I have created. I would be glad if anyone here is able to troubleshoot my program.

Thanks for your reply. For your information, I have set the sampling rate as 10000 as for the sound format, I have set the bits per sample as 16 bit, the rate as 11025 and the sound quality as mono. I tried using your method by changing the sampling rate as 8K but still my program encounter the same problem.
I wish to also create a button that is able to generate a preformatted report that contains VI documentation, data the VI returns, and report properties, such as the author, company, and number of pages only when I click on the button. I have created this in my program, but I am not sure why is it not working. Can you help troubleshoot my program. Or do you have any samples to provide me. Hope to hear from you soon.

One way I can think of is to create a java.awt.BufferedImage, and use its Graphics object to print out the xml (count the lines first, and space them to your liking). Then if you want to save it to e.g. png or jpg there are free libraries for that, whose names I don't remember at the moment... Dunno why you'd wanna do this though :)

How to break the PDF file into images? There should be settings in Photoshop CS 6 that imports PDF file and break it into images. I have a short instruction:
2.    Open the file in Photoshop.
3.    A new window should open to Import PDF. Click on images, not pages import pdf into Photoshop.doc
4.    Select all the files shown (shift + click), Click O.K. Four files should open on your screen.
Was anybody successful with that?

Whether this is available solely depends on the structure of the PDF and whether it actually contains whole images that can be extracted separately. Depending on whatgoing on in the PDF this may simply not be the case and the images have been tiled and split up in multiple "objects" whose appearance can only be retained by rasrerizing the whole page...

Hi! I have pdf file with smooth quality and I tried to turn it into image (png).When I rendered the text the result was jagged text and when I zoomed it it was smooth again.How can I turn the pdf file with the same quality into png file?

It sounds like you just rasterized the PDF at a low resolution, or with antialiasing disabled.
Try a higher resolution and making sure that antialiasing is enabled.
One trick is to use a resolution about 4 times higher than what you need, then resize the image down to the final resolution (which blurs edges).

If you want audio and video from your RCA cable source, you would need a converter device. One that I have used is the EyeTV Hybrid from ElGato. You attach to the Mac via USB, and can attach to RCA composite, Coax, or S-Video. You would record into the EyeTV software and later export to Final Cut for editing. This would not go live into Final Cut Pro.

How to insert signals into multiple columns in db, dbtoolset

I have a labVIEW program that is currenly simulating voltage and a current signal using the DAQ Assistant. I'm using the database connectivity toolset. I am currently able to insert one signal into the database converted to a float(I can insert both into the same column as bianary but it needs to be stored as a usable format and in seperate columns.)
The problem I am having is at the DB Tools Insert Data block. I have the connection, dbTable, error code, and create table boolean being passed into it. Where I am a little lost is how to set the columns I want to store the multiple signals into.
If someone could break that part down for me that would be great. In short, I want to store voltage(channel0) and current(channel1) from the DAQ Assistant into their own respective columns in the db.

As I have often pointed out, the easiest solution to this situation is to dump the Database Connectivity Toolkit. Check out this thread and follow the references in it. If the DCT weren't in the way what you are wanting to do would be very easy.

Getting phone signal into Logic via M-Audio

To record phone calls on my land line, I got a Radio Shack Recording Control (43-228A), plugged it up, and set it to "Record." I plugged the 3.5mm plug into an adapter for 1/4 inch plug, which went into Input 1 on my M-Audio Fast Track Pro, from which point everything else is set as usual going into my Mac's FW. I made sure I had Input 1 selected, went to record as I spoke on a test call, and -- nothing but a hummmmmm. Just to be sure, I switched from line to mic input, and that didn't affect the hum.
Does anyone know of what details I may have overlooked here to get the phone signal into Logic? FWIW, I also tried with the chintzy little $8 suction-cup on the handset, since it also has a 3.5mm plug. Not even any hum.
I checked the usual suspects of "DUH" carelessness within Logic itself: making sure I matched the input to the M-Audio (tried both 1 and 2 anyhow), level up high, etc.
Also, would anyone recommend other procedures for telephone recording? I'd rather stick with land lines instead of Skype or iChat, since not everyone I'll be calling to interview will have those. Suggestions?

Reading a differential signal into the Kintex 7 KC705

I am attempting to read a differential signal into the FPGA: i_SCLK_P and i_SCLK_N. I want to trigger my ILA on a rising edge of i_SCLK. I am unable to contrain my pins correctly. I am getting the following error:
[Place 30-64] Illegal IOStandard configured for port 'i_SCLK_N'. I/O port 'i_SCLK_N' is differential, but has single-ended IOStandard value LVCMOS25.
I have then attempted to change my IOStandard to LVDS (which I have attached) but I then get the following error:
[Drc 23-20] Rule violation (BIVB-1) Bank IO standard Support - Bank 16 has incompatible IO(s) because: The LVDS I/O standard is not supported. Move the following ports or change their properties: i_SCLK_P
I have tried to change to a different bank twice now. I was hoping that I could find a bank with LVDS capability. I have looked through the KC705 datasheet and it appears that the pins that I am using should be valid.
Where am I going astray? Thanks for the help!
