2G died should I go for the Gs

My original iphone just died..with my help (a drop) and I have the goPhone pick your plan option. As I understand it I am not eligible for an upgrade with the nice prices...so I have to purchase at full price and get a 2 year contract/....
I soooooooo hate AT&T so very much. My phone bill will be at least $30 more a month. I'm thinking about defecting until verizon gets an iphone in a year or two.
Do you think it's worth it? I know its a subjective question...but $200+ (phone charger, warranty, cover)Extra monthly charge. Depressing!

I ended up getting a new 3Gs. Apple has me. In anycase. the price was $199 with 2 year contract.
I still hate ATT. They didn't have any in stock but the apple store did. Also, when I asked when they would be in they just kept saying the order is in 'process'. We could get them today or we could get them next week. ATTFAIL!!!
Also off topic. I told the Att rep in the store I wanted to replace my old 2G phone with the new 3Gs and I had a go-phone plan. She promptly said she could help me out. Proceeded to talk me through the ATT plans. I told her which plan I wanted. She 'did the math for me' and told me what the price would be. 10 minutes later she proceeded to tell me that the 3G would be $99. Now if I had not specifically known what I wanted I would have said great, here's my credit card. It was almost a trick! they had no 3Gs 16 only 3Gs32. So she did not mention that they had no 3Gs 16 but did mention they had 3G. Hmmmm...such manipulators is all I can say. Technically, I didn't ask for the 16 but I did ask if the price would still be $199 since I was on the gophone plan. So you decide. <rant off>

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? See other networks? If yes that tends to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Please help me how to configure the planning strategy for my below requirement.
Currently i am procuring a HALB material thru subcontracting. This HALB is having BOM components. I need to send the BOM components to the vendor for assembly.
The BOM components will be used in some other HALB also. My requirement is, the BOM components should not consume for the subcontracting requirements, it needs to consume for in house production only.
The subcon requirement needs to generate the dependent requirements only, it should consume the PIR.
Currently i am using the planning strategy 70, requirement type VSFB. In this, PIR is consuming for the SubReq.
Please suggest me the suitable planning strategy for this scenario.

Suresh,
I am curious why you would not want SubReq. It is also a different kind of dependent requirement. Also it seems yo are supplying the components to your vendor. So it makes sense that your forecast is consumed by dependent requirements so that planning is effective.
If for any reason you do not want to supply components to vendor then it would be best to mark such components as vendor provided. In such cases it would not consume your forecast (PIR). Hope this gives some new perspective.

I have one requirement , Inspection results recording should be allowed for the operation confirmed qty only
i.e
    1. Release Production Order for 100 qty
    2. Inspection Lot created for 100 qty
    3. Production Confirmation done for 1st operation for 50 qty
    4. Next operation is testing or Quality inspection
    5. Used 03 insp type(WIP inspection)
    6. Result Recording should be allowed only for 50 Qty
    7. If i go for 51, system should give message(i.e confirmation not done for 51)
    8. Usage decision saved for 50 qty, Remaining 50 qty,we have to do separate RR & UD once confirmation done
Please let me know the settings,

1) PLease activate in OPK4 for the production order type these 3 setting
a) Operation sequence : Error when operation sequence is not followed
b) Overdelivery : Error when overdelivery tolerance is exceeded
c) Results Rec. (QM) : Error message if no insp. result exists
by doing this a) you make the sequence of operation mandatory. no body can confirm operation no 30 without confirming 10 & 20
b) if you have confirmed 50 in the first operation, you cannot confirm more than 50 in second operation
c) it will not allow you to confirm through C011n if the result recording is not done
2) Kindly understand for 03 inspection the lot quantity will be of 100 (PO quantity as in your case). so it is impossible to give UD for 50 quantity and then do the UD for the rest of the quantity.
UD is for the lot and not for the confirmed quantity. And please note for 03 inspection confirmation holds the importance rather than the UD
So use 03 for intend of its use

Intel HD 3000 graphics card can easily handle HD movies up to 1080p. But if you are looking at higher resolutions possibly 4k or 8k that are being released this summer in new TV's, I would go with the AMD card. The AMD card would be good for video and picture applications and also games. But if this is strictly to power your 1080p home theater setup then the choice is obviously the Intel HD 3000.

I need the solution like this. Our fiscal year April to March. We want the actual activity prices of the April should be planned for the May month. And may month actual prices should be planned for the next month. Like that we want use our activity prices.

Replacing my HDD in my Early 2011 Macbook Pro...Trying to decide between Samsung 840 EVO 250 gb and Crucial M500 240 gb. Samsung is faster but less "mac-friendly". Should I opt for the Crucial due to the "mac-friendliness"?

I have a S.M.A.R.T error on my current Hitachi drive that came with me Early 2011 Macbook pro. Want to upgrade to SSD.
Trying to decide between Samsung 840 EVO 250gb and Crucial M500 240gb, at this gb range, the Samsung is faster and uses less wattage....ONE PROBLEM...I have read many user experiences that note it is much less mac-friendly...
The software samsung offers is not IOS compatible and some report lower than expected speeds after installation...Also apparently the RAPID MODE of the drive, the fastest drive mode is nonexistant when installed on a Macbook pro?
Should I opt for the slower and more power cosuming Crucial M500 240gb SSD because it is more Mac-friendly? Does anyone have a Samsung 840 EVO 250 gb SSD installed in their macbook pro? What has been your experience?

I decided against the Evo as there are too many Mac users that have had issues with slow speed on them. Even without these, the main speed that Samsung states for the Evo comes form turbo Write which is a PC only feature as is software dependent.
I'm sorry but Crucials M500 is simply too slow compared to modern drives to be recomended. Read speed is ok, but the write is far too slow for the price.
I've used and installed both a Samsung 840 basic and a Samsung 840 Pro in 2 separate Mac books! and currently have the 840 Pro in my own MacBook Pro and it comes very highly recomended. It's all but the fastest Sata III drive you can buy - A few OCZ drives just edge it but the difference is negligible. Samsung by far have the best reliability though when it comes to SSD's. I've been getting 520Mb/s easily on mine consistently, and without getting a MacBook with a PCIe drive you won't get a faster more reliable drive.
I really would recommend nothing else.

Personally I would use the Firefox 4 release candidate.
The current Firefox 4 release candidate will become the official Firefox 4 release providing no bugs are found that force a new version to be created. If there is a second release candidate, those using the first release candidate will automatically be updated to the latest version. It is still undergoing quality assurance testing but so far no showstopper bugs have been found.

How do I call the subvi in parallel with main VI. Main vi should not wait for the subvi

I have a subvi which takes the parameters like port name, transmit rate, message to transmit over serial port and Start/stop flag. This subvi calls VISA write vi in a loop continuously, till the Start/Stop flag is false, to write a message to serial port at a mentioned transmit rate. This subvi will be called from another VI. Actual intension is to transmit different messages to different ports continuously and stop them when required. In this senario, please provide solution for below points:
1. How do I call the subvi in parallel with main VI. Main vi should not wait for the subvi.
2. How does main vi can control already running subvi in parallel to it. In the above example I would like to start the subvi from main vi when start\stop flag is true and would like to stop it when the flag is false.
3. How do I call the subVI with one set of parameters from main vi, when same subVI is running with other set of parameters already from main vi(subvi being called in a case with different set of parameters each time when the case is called). Means, how do I keep track of reentrant subvi (different calls to same vi)from the same main vi.
