2LIS_02_ITM incialization no data

Hi,
I execute job on R3 to fill data for 2LIS_02 datasources, job ends without any error. When I start test datasource in RSA3 there is no data. I setup tables there are also no data.I have set BF11 and industry sector. We have NW2004s and SAP R3 4.6C and 2004_1_46C.

Import PI-A 2000.1 patch 6 or PI 2000.1 patch 6 or import PI 2000.2
patch 1 or PI-A 2000.2 patch 1.
Manually implementing the note:
1. Use Transaction SE11 to create structure 'MCEXSETUP' in development class 'MCEX'. Short text:
'Structure for ID assignment of setup tables in new setup'.
Maintain the following fields with the corresponding data elements
Field name        Key    Data element
MCAPP            X      MCAPP
FREE_NUMBER      X      MCBW_SETUPID
LAST_NUMBER              MCBW_SETUPID
Make sure that the indicator "Key field" is set for the first two fields (Extras -> Display key). Activate the structure.
2. Use Transaction SE11 to create lock object 'EMCEXSETUP' in development class 'MCEX'. Short text:
'Lock for ID assignment of setup tables in new setup'.
Enter structure 'MCEXSETUP' as a primary table. Activate the lock object.
3. Implement the changes from the correction instructions for your Release.

Unable to find activated 2LIS_02_ITM datasource in BW system.

Hi,
I am trying to extract data for 2LIS_02_ITM extractor. I have activated data source in R3 and can see the records in RSA3. When I try to assign data source in BW system it does not show me 2LIS_02_ITM in corresponding logistic system (R3 system).
Please let me know what is the problem? How can I see activated datasource 2LIS_02_ITM while assigning data source?

to make sure you have done the replication for the right system source go to transaction rsds in your BW system in order to make the replication in a single manner type in the name of datasource 2LIS_02_ITM select the R3 or ECC Source system from where you have activate it, the source system should be listed in the match code then with the menu in the top select replicate datasource sure it will work.
And other thing if you work on bi 7 a confusion araise is that when you go to datasources in the modeling window in the workbench you have to select in the top for which system you want to see the datasources and by default it is the BW so select the appropriate hope this could help you Sir.

while consulting help.sap regarding the standard BW cubes 0PUR_C01 and 0PUR_C04, i get the following information (in regards to extractors to activate):
0PUR_C01
You can supply this InfoCube with data using either the conventional extraction method or the new one:
Conventional method: Purchasing (2LIS_02_S012)
New method: Purchasing Data (Document Item Level) (2LIS_02_ITM) and Purchasing Data (Document Schedule Line Level) (2LIS_02_SCL)
0PUR_C04
You can supply this InfoCube with data using either the conventional extraction method or the new one:

Significance of the field "REVERSAL INDICATOR"

hI gURUS,
I am trying to load data from R/3 source system to BW.
I have a key field where data is positive but when it is getting transferred to BW it is getting zero.
I checked in PSA, data is there but I have a field "REVERSAL INDICATOR" whch shows alternate 'X' values.
Do u know what is the significance of the field "REVERSAL INDICATOR"?

The records which are cancelled in R/3 will be shown with reversal indicator 'X'.
Suppose you have loaded a particular document already into BW.Afterwards when you change the document and push the data into BW the BW server has to cancel the old record and add the modified one.
The extractor then creates 2 records one with 'X' (the old value)and another one with NULL (new value) in reversal indicator.
The reversal indicator is mapped to 0RECORDMODE of the data target and during compression the data will get aggregated.

Purchasing Extraction transformation

i want to load the datasource 2LIS_02_HDR,2LIS_02_ITM, 2LIS_02_SCL into the cube 0PUR_C04 using Infosources, i noticed that during transformation of the infosources to the Infocube, infosources fields do not correspond with the infocube , How do i tackle this.

as you are loading to 0PUR_C04 which is purchasing groups, it uses 2lis_02_hdr, 2lis_02_itm and 2lis_02_scl data sources and corresponding info sources.
it is not mandatory that all the info objects are in the cube should be in all the above data sources and info sources header details (2lis_02_hdr) fields will be mapped to 0PUR_C04 cube, item level details (2lis_02_itm) fields will be mapped to 0PUR_C04 cube and only the schedule line (2lis_02_scl) fields will be mapped to the above cube so u need not to be bother that each and every infosource objects should be available in the 0PUR_C04 cube.

Many same records except the field UZEIT via rsa3

when i extract data via 2lis_02_itm, find have 14 records for the same PO(only have one item). i try to find the reason for the duplication, the only difference is the value of field UZEIT.
why?

What key fields should i set in DSO extracting data from 2LIS_02_ITM

i extract data from 2LIS_02_ITM into a DSO, i know the DSO isn't a must, becoz the 2LIS_02_ITM delta type is ABR, but i want to keep the info in change log.
so, what the key fields should i set in the dso? just ebeln and ebelp is enough?

If you extract ITM toa DSO you cannot maintain a log of every change....the data will come ....but when the data must be activated the reference of the ebelp ebeln will remain only a single record....if you want to maintain all the data you must create another field in extractor with you can difference all the changes for one single ebelp ebeln...

No purchasing date in delta extraction (2LIS_02_ITM, 2LIS_02_SCL)

Hi.
We have been experiencing some issues with delta extraction of purchasing data, using 2LIS_02_ITM and 2LIS_02_ITM.
In particular, the posting date's field (BUDAT) is not always filled: for example, I noticed that when users set the final delivery flag even if the purchase delivered quantity does not correspond to the whole order's quantity or the flag has been set later than the change of the delivery date, the field (BUDAT) in the delta queue is not filled.
By this way, the field may be overwritten: however, we need to keep the posting date value.
I am wondering whether I am correct and, in this case, it is possible to keep that value: however, it seems that the only way is to use a full extraction of data.

2lis_02_itm setup table successfull but rsa 3 no data

Hi @all,
we have an problem with one R3 source system. Following Issue. The system connection is okay we get data from some FI extractors.
But the 2lis_02_itm extractor sends no data to bw:
Following is done:
1. we have datas (ekko,ekpo)
2. 2lis_02_itm Structure is active
3. Processkeys are maintained
4. setup table are built sucessful and he collects data(setuolog)
But the extractor checker doesn't work he collects 0 data.
Does anybody know where lost the datas? Why we don't get any datas ? For other application componnent like FI we can extract data.
Help would be great.

Procedure
This step has to be carried out in the R/3 System.
R/3 Role Menu Order Update Parameters Setting
Transaction code OPL5
Carry out the following steps:
1. If the view is in Display mode, change it to change mode.
2. Select the lines in which there are transaction data you want to upload to BW.
3. Select the Details button.
4. Ensure that the four indicators (Update, Header, Item and Operation) are chosen.
5. Press F8 to choose the next entry.
6. Choose Save.

Hi ROB,
Before performing the above setup filling steps, please make sure that you have deleted the 02 application data from TCODE SMQ1 or LBWQ. You could select the queue and directly delete the data in it, or Run a V3 update. This could be scheduled from TCODE LBWE.
Before filling in the setup tables, you have to first empty the contents of the previously filled setup tables. This could be done by TCODE SBIW.

Sizing for extraction of 2LIS_02_ITM / 2LIS_03_BF (data volume)

Hello Experts,
can anybody help me with this issue:
I am extracting data for the datasources 2lis_02_itm and 2lis_03_bf. The bw scenario is a pilot project and this is the first transactional data ever loaded into the bw system. At the moment i am facing the problem, that our database seems to be too small (50 GB). I need to know exactly how much data will be extracted from these two datasources.
The main problem is, that i can not figure out the exact amount of datasets for both extractors. My bw system dumped after i loaded around 60 million datasets only for the datasource 2lis_02_itm (2years). That means that there is almost 50 GB purchase order data in the system. Of course figured out hoch much data is in ekpo and ekko, but there is much more data extracted. I found out, that the tables cdpos and cdhdr are also relevant, because they keep all changes on purchase orders. I think the extractor delievers all these changes. How can i find out how big the tables cdpos and cdhdr are (i think they are strucutres)?
For the extractor 2lis_03_bf i did not find tables which keep all changes.
To sum up: How can i find out how much data will be extracted to bw for the datasources 2lis_02_itm and 2lis_03_bf to bw. I need to know that in GB size.
Can you provide a way to figure that out?

We can't measure the size manually, we have tool QUICK SIZER in service.sap.com there you give your inputs and then it will suggest the Hardware sizing.

2LIS_02_itm Data duplicated

Hi,
Some one has executed the LBWQ queues twice when they got stuck in R/3 on one day for 2LIS_02_ITM. Due to this we got duplicate orders on that particular day in BW.
how can I solve this issue? need to maintain In-sync data between r/3 and BW.

Hello,
if the V3 was scheduled twice, it wont anyway duplicate the records.
Duplication of records in deltas are possible if the init/setuprun was done without blocking the transactions.
Either selective deltion from the cube may help(which may be a tedious job) or else reinit has to be done in my opinion.
