2LIS_03_UM - FULL LOAD VIA SETUP TABLE NOT EQUAL TO DELTA

Hello,
I try to load stock data with 2LIS_03_UM.
When I extract data using setup table and full load I don't get the same records as I get with delta load. Although the key figures values are the same, the documents numbers are different. Most documents from delta load are ML (material ledger) documents while documents from full load (via setup table) are mainly FI documents.
What can be the reason? How can I fix it?

Hi,
Delta load extracts data from Delta Queue based on your update mode selected in LBWE.
Full Load or Init load extracts data from Setup tables, here if you are extracting data from setup tables ? did you fill the setup tables now or not after deleting the existing data of the setup tables?
are you getting same values when compare to R/3 and BW data for some document numbers?

Load from Setup tables breaking for high volume

Hello Friends,
There are around 50,000 records in the setup table for 03 related appl area. The load is breaking for 50,000 records in BW. But it works if I further select only one day data in the BW scheduler.
Why is this?

So, I tried reducing the packet size to 20,000 and no of Idocs to 10 per Infopckage. But this is working for only 40K records which a just a weeks data for the 2LIS_03_BF extractor.
If I run 30 days worth of load form setup tables for the same etxractor, the load is breaking.
The same is happening for a customer built Zextractor. For this I actually tried with 10,000 records and 5 IDOCS per package.
Does, this mean for sure that there is a memory issue?
Also, I see that all the BGD WPs have been occupied by other jobs. Is this an issue?
But we have deltas running every night from R3, but t hese are less volumes(<10,000)and we have not seen this issue.
However within BW there are heavy loads between data targets and they don't break.
Is this a issue only for full loads from R3?

Is it possible to automate the load of setup tables for LIS datasources?

For LIS datasources, eg. 04 (shop floor control), once the production confirmation is done, we have to manually run the transaction OLI4BW to load the setup tables before extracting data to BW. Is there a way to automate the load of setup tables?

Setup tables not getting filled.

Hi all,
I am using MM module which includes purchasing data, i have identified 2lis_02_itm, 2lis_02_cgr, 2lis_02_scn, 2lis_02_sgr data sources for extracting purchasing data.
While extracting data from R/3 for data sources 2lis_02_cgr, 2lis_02_scn the setup tables were not getting filled. i followed all the standard procedures. i tried checking in RSA3 also but the no. of records was 0.
then i checked in NPRT t-code using the run name it was showing no. of docs. but when i extract data from R/3 to BW Processing: No data . 0 records.
Can anyone please help me in this issue?

Application Number for Purchase is 02
So OLI3BW will not fill the Purchase related setup tables.
Best way is
T-code = SBIW
     -> Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (PI)
       -> Logistics
         -> Managing Extract Structures
           -> Initialization
             -> Filling up the setup tables
                         -> Application-Specific Setup of Statistical Data
                 -> Then select the app for which you want to fill setup table

Selective Deletion and Data Load from Setup Tables for LIS Extractor

Hi All,
We came across a situation where one of the delta in PSA was missed to load in DSO. This DSO updates another cube in the flow. Since it has been many days since this miss come in our knowledge we need to selectively delete data for those documents from DSO & Cube and then take a full load for the Documents filling the setup table.
Now what will be the right approach to load this data from setup table > DSO > cube. There is change log present for those documents and a few KPI's in DSO are in summation mode.

This is Sales Order extractor, the data got loaded to ODS just fine, but since the data is coming to ODS from different extractor. Everything is fine in ODS, but not in the cube. Will Full repair request and Full load would it make difference when the data is going to cube? I thought that it would matter only if I am loading to ODS.
what do you mean "Even if you do a full load without any selections you should do a full repair ".

Selective load into setup table

Hello,
Is there any way we can load multiple selections into setup table in OLI7BW. Currently I am only able to load range of values. But i have a list of almost 2000 records and they are not in sequence. And loading one by one requires too much effort. Loading ranges would load millions of records.
Please advice.

Hi Tinu,
Pick all 200 0 orders and check in VBAK table for CREATED ON field.
Down load all 2000 orders into excel and put filter on created on value....then note down all the created on dates.
Now you can load orders based on created on date. make sure that you are loading the data to DSO as it avoids duplication

i have doubt on loading the set up table. what are the transaction codes for the filling the set up(LO) ex like sales,quality,purchase. olis7bw for sales. but it is not working in my system. other wise can any one provide the navigation steps from the sbiw also. it would be great.

Setup table not getting filled-shipment header

hi
i am trying to fill the set up table for shipment header data for particular shipment number (TKNUM). as few shipment number missing, we are doing a full repair request.
tcode : vtbw
entered the shipment number. the setup table is still empty. when debugged, the values are not getting passed.
can anyone shed some light about this.

The 2LIS_08TRTK (shipment header), 2LIS_08TRTS (shipment stages) and 2LIS_08TRTLP (delivery items on shipment stages) DataSources only extract shipments where the shipment completion status is set.

SETUP tables not filling for 2LIS_02_ITM

Hello all,
I am trying to run the SETUP process from OLI3BW for few Purchasing doc's
But I do not see any entries in the setup table 'MC02M_0ITMSETUP' after the SETUP run.
and Yes,I have DELETED setup tables data prior to running the Setup process.
I did make sure DS,Extract structure are active and also 2LIS_02_ITM is active in RSA7 .
I could not find any Info on this kind of issue in SDN.
Any help is much appreciated !

Yes, I did check RSA3,RSA6 and LBWE .
LBWE has active DS for Item/Hdr/Scl(with Green light) and RSA6 has active DS's
But RSA3 has 0 records since SETUP process itself did not run and no data in SETUP table to pull from RSA3.
I schedule the job in the back ground and seems the job runtime was too short with no proper log.
Here are the messages from the Job log.

LIS11 - will fill setup table again conflict with delta?

Hi experts,
we are using LIS11 delta mechanism. LIS11 data is used for two different dataflows in BW.
Because of a delta problem with the R3 enhancements the delta doesn't work properly for one of these.
For this one we want to do a full load until the problem in R3 is solved.
Therefore we have to fill the setup tables again each time we want to do a full load.
My question:
Does filling the setup tables again conflict with the delta mechanism for the other flow?
Or will delta continue to work properly?

The delta type for all 2LIS_11* DS is ABR--Complete Delta with Deletion Flag Via Delta Queue.
This means that there will be no conflict of data duplication in case of full repair, the delta is independent of set up tables.
Delete and reload the setup tables and the delta will not be effected and also the data will also not be duplicated in cube.

Setup table Administration with Direct Delta mode

Hi guys,
I have a direct delta as update mode for my 2LIS_11_VAITM extractor in R/3.
I'd like to know if I have to manage the relative setup table (MC11VA0ITMSETUP) with this update mode also.
For instance, If I delete an ODS content and restart a new INIT on BW system, do I need to delete and then to fill the setup table?
In general, Do I need always to menage the setup table with each kind of update mode (direct delta, queued delta and V3 update)?

yes, you do....the initial loads for lo datasources are completely independent of the delta loads and hence of the delta method...

Updated Attribute values in Z table not coming in Delta

Hi,
We have a generic master data datasource based on a view. View is based on two standanrd R3 tables. We also enhanced this datasource by adding few fields populated through user exit from a custom Z table.
The datasource was initialized (delta field being 'Change date field' i.e. AEDAT).
The issue is, if users update/modify few fields in Z table, then those records are not picked up as deltas because AEDAT field is not changed.
How should I pull such records? If I do a repair full, will it affect delta mechanism?

Load Setup table using Sales Document Ranges

Hi,
Is there any way to load the Setup table for Billing using Multiple Sales Document Ranges or Multiple single values.
Since the field has no option of Multiple Entries.
I don't want to execute multiple setup table with different ranges.
I have to use the Sales Document number as its needed to load on the data for a particular period using Sales Document numbers.

Hi SB,
If Sales Documnent Number is your selection criteria, as you rightly said, there is no way you can have multiple selections. I don't think you have any option other than loading different mutually exclusive sales document number ranges. You can schedule these ranges in parallel and that way you can save time. Hope this makes sense.

Reason is FI/COPA Data sources are Company dependent and need to configure as per company and Organization. But all Logistic Data Sources are suitable for any kind of Company and Organization. And basic all FI/COPA DS's are less number of records if you compare LO DataSources, you you need setup tables for LO DS's.
Data will be fetched from application table to setup tables (In Lo extraction, the extractor won't allow the direct communication with the application tables) from here, data finally reaches the target
Financial Accounting data can be extracted directly from the tables.
Note :Full load: Incase of logistic application, Full/Initialization will extract the data from setup tables (contains only historical data).So if you have decided to go for full load, For full update the data will be taken from setup tables.
