Hi all,
Does the Production business content (Appl 4) 2LIS_04_P_MATNR capture the Planned order number even if the production cycle is not completed?
We are able to get the Planned order number from the business content only when the Production order is created and production cycle is complete.
Is there any way we can introduce any events in LBWE to capture the planned orders as soon as they are created ? Or this is this feature already available and i am interpreting it incorrectly ?

Hello,
I am trying to activate datasource 2LIS_04_P_MATNR in r/3 in Tcode : rsa6/rsa5 and I am getting a warning that says
The even-numbered length of the DEC field I_DLZ_EX can lead to problems
I serached and found that note : 641744 is applicable.
The solution in the note says that there are 3 options to rectify this error as below:
If the field is not manipulated in the customer exit or elsewhere, no processing is required.
If you change the field, the following possible solutions are available:
You can make sure that the number of the characters does not increase after the manipulation.
If you can change the extract structure of the DataSource without affecting other scenarios (for example, if it was generated in transaction RSO2), you can increase the length of the DEC field (or CURR, QUAN) there to the next odd character (in the example above: from DEC 4 on DEC 5).
If neither of these solutions are possible, you can use a customer append that contains a relevant DEC field (or CURR, QUAN) with the next highest odd length. This can be used for the result of the calculations. This means that you do not have to manipulate the previous field.
I am opting the 3rd option i.e. to use an append structure with a field QUAN(in my case) that has next highest odd length
I am using the field BDMNG(length 13) from table RESB. The feild mentioned in the warning have length 12.
The problem is still occuring.
Am I able to understand the note correctly or am I missing something?

Thanks Deva. I ignored the warning and went ahead with the enhancement.
After the activation of datasource I deleted and filled the setup tables, but the NPRT log showed 0 records.
Then after reading few threads at SCN I came to a conculsion that my setup table is refering to view CAUFV which does not contain data for order category AUTYP 10(PP Production Order) and therefore the data extracted is 0.
There was a thread mentioning the same problem that said (steps to fill the setup tables for 2LIS_04_PECOMP(Repetitive manufacturing Component view)) that the solution was to run OLIFBW Tcode after completing OLI4BW setup. So i did the same. But still my NPRT log still shows 0 records.
Also I checked AUFK table. It does not contain any data for AUTYP 10.
Please advise what should be the correct way to solve this.

GLTRS - Scheduled Finish Date and 2LIS_04_P_MATNR extractor

Hi Experts,
Its a strange situation. I have one process order which is showing GLTRS as 3/3/2009 in AFKO but when I extract this order (after filling up setup table for full load) using 2LIS_04_P_MATNR the record doesnt bring the same date; instead in the field "Scheduled Finish Date" it displays date 2/25/2009.
when I see in Tx COR3 date 2/25/2009 is schedule start date.
Can anyone help me on this?

2LIS_04_P_MATNR Delta - Actual Start and Finish Dates

My company is experiencing a problem with retrieving the actual start and finish dates and times from the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR data source with delta extraction. The R/3 source system is version 4.6C. The BI system is version 7.0. Specifically, the data source fields GETRI, GEUZI (finish), GSTRI, GSUZI (start) are sometimes never populated with data. These fields are often blank in the production data extracted. It was observed that the actual delivery date for the order (posting date of goods receipt from process order) was often an earlier date than the GETRI date. This scenario was tried in test systems, and it was found that if the final goods receipt for the process order was posted before the end of the last phase was confirmed, the actual finish date and time fields were not transferred to BI from R/3. In fact, it was noted that a new record was not created in the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR delta queue when the end of the last phase was confirmed. Regarding the actual start data, this is missing if a goods receipt from the process order is posted before the start of the first phase is confirmed.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? How was it resolved?
SAP Notes have been searched regarding this problem, and in fact, a customer message has been opened with SAP for this problem. However, we thought we would try asking the community as well, to see if any other users have experienced this, and how the problem was resolved. We also understand that it may be an unusual practice to post a goods receipt from the process order before the end of the last phase is confirmed. In a more general sense, has anyone else experienced that some of the data source fields are never populated if the R/3 information is entered after the posting of the final goods receipt against the process order? Our testing indicated that no more delta records are created for the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR data source after the final goods receipt was posted.

2lis_04_p_matnr - Delta - Data retreival

Hi Bwians,
Part of the processed order was not capture in delta on 20/05/2006. The delta for that day was successful, descrepancy in GR quantiy when compared with R/3.
Found there was no data captured for that Processed order.
Data from 2lis_04_p_matnr feeds data to cube 0PP_C10. I am planning to set the QM status of the request from 20/05/2006 to till date and rerun the delta. But I am having doubt whether it can extract all the data from 20/05/2006 to till date. Please advice.
If there is any other way to capture the missed data please let me know.

Hi Puru
There is another way of capturing the missed data if you know the date/document range which is missed during that period. Let's say that you want to update the missed data from 20/05/2006 till date . Then do the following :-
1.Ensure that you have deleted the setup tables for application 04 otherwise data will be doubled.
2.In R/3 system , Fill the set up tabels for application 04 (since your data source is 2LIS_04_P_MATNR)for missing date range.
3.Create a new Info package with repair full request option ON (For this got to Infopackage Menu -> Scheduler-> Repair Full request -> Check ON .
4.Load the data into data taregts using this new Info package.

Data mismatch between TABLE and Std. Extract str. (AFPO & 2LIS_04_P_MATNR)

Hi,
I am getting data mismatch in ECC standard table and ECC standard extract structure. Please help me.
I am using 2LIS_04_P_P_MATNR data source (standard extract structure).
I have following data in ECC Table (AFPO - Order Item).
AUFNR (Order Number) --> 4000460
PGMNG (Total planned quantity) --> 0
PSMNG (ORDER QTY) --> 2000
Extract Structure is showing following data.
AUFNR (Order Number) --> 4000460
PGMNG (Total planned quantity) --> 2000 (It should be zero)
PSMNG (ORDER QTY) --> 2000
I have checked with many other order numbers. The extract structure in RSA3 is showing correct values only if PGMNG is non-zero values. If PGMNG is zero, then it is automatically assigning PSMNG value.
Is this common? I want to display correct values for PGMNG from AFPO Table. Why this mismatch between table data and extract data. I have done all required steps refreshing data (deleting setup tables, filling set up tables etc.).
pls suggest. Poinsts will be assigned to every useful answer.

I have a similar problem where in AFPO shows value 1000 in PSMNG field and 1200 in RSA3 for extractor 2LIS_04_P_MATNR.
I have found that the standard feature of the extractor extracts the data at the time of release of process order. If the process order is changed after the release then the extractor will not picup the chagne.
Ex: AFPO value 1000 ---BI Value 1000
Now released in ECC
AFPO value 1000 ---BI Value 1000
In ECC value changed to 1500 after the release. BI will not pickup the change.
Extractor is pulling the data from MCAFPOV table. You can check the values, there it matches with RSA3 values.
I was just going thru forums for the solution. After i found the solution. I am just updating it.

2LIS_04_P_COMP and 2LIS_04_P_MATNR delta issue

Hi experts,
I am having problems with 2LIS_04_P_COMP and 2LIS_04_P_MATNR delta extraction.
I run the init, it is ok. I create an order and then I run DELTA expecting to get more record(s).
DELTA will bring no records. But if I delete set up tables LBWE, initialize them again, and then run the init again, the new records will be available.
Has someone had the same issue? I can't find the reason why the delta extraction does not bring the new records, if I don't re-setup the tables in LBWE.

In job control window I do not have the green check button, only the cancel (red cross). When I try to schedule the job it gives me an error "error creating a job", so only I can do is save a start date and periodicity in job parameters. Is this ok?!
I also wrote sap a message because I am trying to enhance it with two fields (they are in LBEW), but same happens... I just see a cancel button, never a green check to validate and accept. I have done all the recomendations. I put the message I wrote below hoping you can give me some insight on this issue:
am trying to do an enhancement to extractor 2LIS_04_P_COMP.
+I go to LBWE and select these 2 fields:
MCAFKO GAMNG Qtd.teór.
MCAFKO GMEIN UM básica
The problem is that in the selection window to select these fields from
pool (scroll down box) to selection criteria (scroll down box) the
button to accept these changes does not appear (I mean the button with
the green check). So it is impossible to add this fields to the
structure. Is there any reason for this not to appear?
I think I have done everything that was needed:
LBWG: delete setup tables for 04 (production application)
RSA7: delete 04 queues
LBWQ: delete 04 queues
LBWF: check for active maintenance logs (does not exist any)+
Some points already assigned.

2LIS_04_P_MATNR - second setup possible?

I have 2LIS_04_P_MATNR which is running perfect. Now I have to fill second DSO.
Is it possible to fill this second DSO without new set-up from other DSO?

There is already an existing data flow btw 2LIS_04_P_MATNR and first DSO and you want to integrate a seond DSO similar to first DSO in the data flow ?
Does your first DSO has enough history in the change log?. If yes,
1) Create a transformation connecting the First DSO to your second DSO.
2) Create a Delta enables DTP for your source and Target objects
3) Execute your new delta enabled DTP ( Through Process chain)

Adding Total plan order qty to 2lis_04_p_matnr

Dear BW Gurus,.
I am appending a standard field (GAMNG - Total plan order qty) to the extract structure MC04P_0MAT.When i activated the structure,got it done but with warning that the Field GAMNG is not within the customer namespace...Now when i check the DS,the appended field is present with "HIDE" AND "FIELD ONLY" Options checked.When i try to uncheck them fields and check "select" field and save,it throws an error" THE OLTP SOURCE STILL CONTAIN ERRORS"..Would appreciate any help on this..

Hi,
Check by deleting the setup table for the DS 2LIS_04_P_MATNR.
If there is delta already running, then you need to do initialization once again for field GAMNG.

Hi,
Use the Tcode OLI4BW to fill the Setup tables, and follow the steps, these steps are for SD module, but for your datasource, change the Tcode OLI4BW and replace the SD DataSource with your datasource in the following steps.
1. First Install the DataSOurce in RSA5 and see it in RSA6 and activate in LBWE.
Before doing the steps from 2 to 6 lock the ECC System, i.e. no transaction will happen
2. Then delete the Queues in LBWQ like below
     MCEX11 --> For 2LIS_11_*
     MCEX12 --> For 2LIS_12_*
     MCEX13 --> For 2LIS_13_*
Be carefull while doing all these deleations in Production Servers
3. Then delete if any entry is there in RSA7
     Eg:
     2LIS_11_*
     2LIS_12_*
     2LIS_13_*
4. Then delete setp tables using LBWG Tocde and select Application Number. i.e. 11, 12 and 13.
5. Then Load Setup Tables using OLI7BW, OLI8BW and OLI9BW.
   Give Name of run = XYZ, Termination Date = tomorrows date and execute it in background.
   i.e. Program-->Execute in Background.
   2LIS_11_* Use OLI8BW Tcode to fill the Setup tables
   2LIS_12_* Use OLI8BW Tcode to fill the Setup tables
   2LIS_13_* Use OLI9BW Tcode to fill the Setup tables
At the time of setup table filling no entry will exists in LBWQ in ECC for the following Queues.
     MCEX11 --> For 2LIS_11_*
     MCEX12 --> For 2LIS_12_*
     MCEX13 --> For 2LIS_13_*
6. Check the job status in SM37 and once finish it then goto RSA3 and then execute it and check.
7. Then Replicate the DataSource in BW.
8. Install InfoCube/DSO from Business Content or cretae InfoCube/DSO and then Map the ECC DataSOurce Fields and BW          InfoObejcts in Transfer Rules (in BW 3.5) or in Transfermations (in BI 7.0).
9. Map the InfoObejcts in InfoSource and InfoObejects in InfoCube/DSO in in Update Rules (in BW 3.5) or in Transfermations
   (in BI 7.0).
10.Create InfoPackage and Load Init/Full.
11.Using DTP you can load to InfoCube/DSO (if it is BI 7.0)

Enhancements to 2LIS_04_P_MATNR DatSource

Dear Friend, pls tell me how to do the enhancement to 2LIS_04_P_MATNR datsource?.
1.I want to add batch, that is there in communication structure with name MCAFPO CHARG Batch and I'm trying to add from Right to Left it is adding but giving error:
Entries for application 04 still exist in the extraction queue ->

Diagnosis
Changing extraction structure MC04P_0MAT for application 04 is forbidden, because there are entries that have not yet been processed into an extraction queue for application 04 for at least one client.
If an extraction structure is changed to the entries that are still open in an extraction queue, then these are no longer able to be read and can cause terminations with the collective update.
Procedure
Start the collective update using the function "Job Control" in the Logistics Extraction Structures Customizing Cockpit.
To get an overview of the logistics extraction queues, see the Logistics Queue Overview.
I delete all Q's and there is no data in SMQ1/LBWQ and RSA7 also, I did V3 job and extracted to BW and deleted set tables also and tried, but still it is giving the above error.

Repeat delta 2LIS_04_P_MATNR

HI!
Im using the cube 0PP_C10 and this is filled with the extractor 2lis_04_p_matnr, im using the process delta and its correct. The subsequent delta load are correct too.
Then when I load the delta package, this send an error, and now appear a message that is necesary to repeat the delta, I followed the steps but send a message that said that the process delta its not finished, but i have this petition in red.
Im not sure how to repeat a delta for this cube.

I have another question about this, when I tried to set the package not ok apper this message:
"If you set a 'red' delta upload to green,
with the next request, BW sends a delta request
to the source system and this delivers the next delt
The data from the 'red' delta load is then no longer
(even with a repeat). This can lead to loss of data
Do you want to execute a QM Action?"
I have the doubt, because im in productive system and I dont want to lose the data.

Datasource 2LIS_04_P_MATNR inactive

Hi Experts,
We changed a data flow with DSO instead of Cube. I have created a DSO with Datsource 2LIS_04_P_MATNR and it was good. While creating, I have activated update rules which was not required in 7.0 flow. So I deleted that DSO and while deleting deleted the update rules and transfer rules for the datasource 2LIS_04_P_MATNR in Dev and released teh request to Quality. Now I see the datasource 2LIS_04_P_MATNR inactive in Dev and there are no infopackages under it. When I try to create infopackage , it says, No active transfer rule for DS 2LIS_04_P_MATNR and source system DU6CLNT010; create first... How to go about this and activate datasource? Or if I transport the request backwards from Quality to Dev, will it work? Please advice.

Thanks for your response. It's a 3.x emulated Data source, now when I try to create Info package, it pops up a message :
No active transfer rule for DS 2LIS_04_P_MATNR and source system DU6CLNT010; create first...
If so , how to create transfer rules for an 3.x emulated Datasource, I didn't experience this? Kindly do suggest?

DataSource 2LIS_04_P_MATNR

Hi,
I am trying to transport the datasource 2LIS_04_P_MATNR in R/3 DEV to Quality.
I added the fileds additioanlly LGORT, DISPO , TERKZ and some others to the standard datasource.
when i transported objects (ODS, CUBE ) in BW from DEV to Quality i am encountering this error.
Field DISPO will not be delivered from DataSource 2LIS_04_P_MATNR in source system r/3 quality
Field LGORT will not be delivered from DataSource 2LIS_04_P_MATNR in source system r/3 quality
Field TERKZ will not be delivered from DataSource 2LIS_04_P_MATNR in source system r/3 quality.
i checked this data sources in R/3 DEV and Quality .
DEV conatins these 3 fields IN RSA6 and Quality not containg.
What is the reason behind this?

Hi Chandran, Yes the transport is successful,
correct me if i am wrong in transports.when we transport , we do the transfer of datasource active version and we do the extract structure right?.(LBWE)

0PP_C02 2LIS_04_P_MATNR inactive

Hi all,
Im trying to use the cube 0PP_C02 but Im facing hard time to get the update rule 0PP_C02 2LIS_04_P_MATNR active.
It brings an error message like:
"Field /BI0/APP_O0100 is unknown It is neither in one of the specified tables nor DATA statement". It asks me to review the program; however, Im actually installing business content (havent done any customization).

Thank you for such a quick answer. I need to use the cube 0PP_C02 and was installing it from Business Content. Nothing against using any required ODS.
I thought when installing the cube with "Grouping = In data flow before" I didn´t have to worry about this.
Is there an order I should follow when installing the CB OPP_C02? Where can I find such an order if there is any?
