hi gurus,
I posted a more or less query few days back but was not able to get to the solution thne but now it has become critical then. I am extracting 2LIS_11_VAHDR using RSA3.
The same function and the extractor is working fine in develoment and fetching records but in Q§A it gives me a short dump and error as follows:
when importing object mc11VA0HDR_TAB structure did not match the target structure . Error occured in component no 49. possible reasons are
1 structure is actually different.
2 same sequence of components were exported and imported but from different include units.
Now i have compared versions of testing and develoment and i find that everything is same.
can you please suggest me if u have faced like nething this before?

Hi,
I think you have added some Z fields in your Strut MC
and the Currecny field is refering to some other structure currency field.
go to structure MC11VA0HDR
then in Currency/quantity fields..check whether it is
reference tabel field
MC11VA0HDR WAERK

i want to extract data from 2LIS_11_VAHDR and 2LIS_11_VAITM but dont see any data in RSA3.
I have already activated the datasource in RSA5 and LBWE. After running the setup tables using OLI7BW i still dont see any data in RSA3.
Pls advice... is there something i am missing?

Use SE16 and verify that there is data in the MC11VA0HDRSETUP table. If there is no data, then your setup tables were not updated (or the setup extracted no records).
In RSA3, make sure you select Update Mode of "C" or "F". This will check data from the setup tables.

NO DATA error when running init load with 2LIS_11_VAHDR

hi experts,
I try to load initial data with 2LIS_11_VAHDR
the steps I did:
1. 2LIS_11_VAHDR is activated in R/3 Log.Cockpit LBWE
2. 2LIS_11_VAHDR is replacated in BW
3. Setup tables are filled for SD Sales Orders in R/3
4. testing 2LIS_11_VAHDR with RSA7 in R/3 delivers 981 records
when I start the info package with "Initialize delta process with Data Transfer" the error occurs "0 Records - NO DATA"
Any Idea what I'm doing wrong?

Go to bd87 transaction and see any yellow requests..If so select it and process manually.
or
In the monitor Environment->Transactional RFC -> in the source system.
Then give user id and pwd for source system and try to execute...see if any LUWs are pending and process them.

Sales Report problem with 2LIS_11_VAHDR, 2LIS_11_VAITM and other DS

Hi Experts,
I need your help in following topic. I have a requirement to build a big (overall) sales report in BI (NW2004s).
I would like to use BI Content because I'm running out of time and try to use all preconfigured stuff if possible.
In the requirement a bunch of fields of different SD DataSources are used (mostly 2LIS_11_VAHDR and 2LIS_11_VAITM but also some fields of other Datasources).
In SE16 I know how to locate all the field in the tables VBAK, VBAP, KNA1, VBKD,
LIKP, VBRK and of course some texts. Some fields could already be located by me, others couldn't even be found in BI.
The difficulty I have is to bring all the DataSources together so that the data is displayed correct - even if there are redundant parts.
For example:
For sales orders the doc no, sales org, distr. channel (and a lot of other header data) should be displayed in each line together with item data such as item no., material code, quantity (and a lot of other item data). If an order has multiple items each item should be diplayed in one row in the report.
In the Query the report should look like a common table (e.g. as in an ALV Grid if you model a query with SQ01) --> a lot of columns.
I'm not sure if I should use one big DSO with multiple InfoSources or if I should create a MultiCube and add the BI DSOs 0SD_O03 (Orders) and 0SD_O01(Order Items).
I know this is a very common requirement in SD. Do you know how to combine the most common SD datasources that no issues come up?

Hi Horst,
Reporting on ODS / DSo is slow. I'm here at a cleint where we have lots of reports on SD_O01 and SD_O03. The best way to have good query performance is to build cubes on top of your ODS. Build a sales cube on top of SD_O03 with all fields and a billing cube on top of SD_O01. Load the data from your ODS to your new cubes. Then create a multipovider on top of both cubes, identify the keyfigures and characteristics required for your queries. Build the queries on top of the multiprovider.
You can display all items of a bill in one row if you choose drill-across for the irems in the query, instead of drill-down. So it looks for a standard SD report.

DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR does not exist in source system ECDCLNT100 of vers

Hi iam working on BI 7 and ECC 6 system. When i try to install the transfer rules for 2 lis_11_vahdr in BI7 business content, it gave a message that "<b>DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR does not exist in source system ECDCLNT100 of version A".</b> i have done an enhancement for this.I activated them from rsa5, activated both in LBWE as well as activated thier structures too after enhancing. I replicated and did all possible steps still iam unable to find.
Can anybody help me who has faced similar issue.

CONNE_IMPORT_WRONG_FIELD_TYPE with exception CX_SY_IMPORT_MISMATCH_ERROR

I'm implementing IS-Retail in our landscape. After the EhP4 update I've activated the SAP retail framework and when I'm trying to execute the program RSBRAN03 to change the short text after importing the latest update as per the nore 897714, I'm facing a short dump CONNE_IMPORT_WRONG_FIELD_TYPE with exception CX_SY_IMPORT_MISMATCH_ERROR.
I've even applied the correction as per the notes 687827 and 737471 but still the problem persists.
Can anyone of you let me know hoe to resolve this issue ?

Try to import the data to the IT with old structure (say 32 fields)
         IMPORT ty_data = it_temp_old FROM DATABASE indx(sp) TO wa_indx ID obj.
   2. Append the data it_temp_old to new structure it_temp_new.
          EXPORT ty_data = it_temp_new TO DATABASE indx(sp) TO wa_indx ID obj.
For the next time:
Edit the IMPORT statement.
         Import the data to IT with new structure (40)
         IMPORT ty_data = it_temp_new FROM DATABASE indx(sp) TO wa_indx ID obj.
   2. Perform the required Operations and export the same data with new structure(40).
         EXPORT ty_data = it_temp_new TO DATABASE indx(sp) TO wa_indx ID obj.

Install Business content Infosource 2LIS_11_VAHDR on BI

Hello,
When i try to Install the Business content Infosource 2LIS_11_VAHDR grouping function I am selecting "In Dataflow Bfr and Aft"
In the left side under Infosource I selected 2LIS_11_VAHDR then the system is connecting to source system then I have to enter my user name and password then system asking you want to check you have full authorization I selected Yes.

Roshan, Try the following steps again
1) Activate the Datasource in LBWE on ECC.
2) Replicate the Datasources.
3) Find the datasource and try to edit it. If the infosource is not installed it will try to install again.

DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR is not defined in the source system

I have a problem when I had activated the Data Source called 2LIS_11_VAHDR in ERP DEV and then put it in a request to be transfered to ERP Prod
Then I am using RSA3 I receive the following error
DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR is not defined in the source system
I tried to activate this data source several times in ERP Dev and send it to production without any success

I am sure you would have done these steps, but just a double-check.
1. RSA5 - Install the data source
2. RSA6 - Activate the data source
Check in LBWE if the data source is available.
All this will be captured in a transport request(s) - you may may have a Workbench request & a Customizing request.
Also, before transporting, please check in your target system whether the datasource is available or not (RSA5).
Further to the above, do a check in Dev for the following.
After activating it in RSA6, fill the setup tables for 2LIS_11_VAHDR - i.e. thru' transaction OLI7BW.
And check the data in RSA3.

Transformations for 2LIS_13_VDHDR,2LIS_12_VCHDR/ITM,2LIS_11_VAHDR/ITM

Hello all,
I implementing std sales & distribution module in BI 7.0.
So i am getting transaformation only for 2LIS_13_VDITM.
All other datasources 2LIS_13_VDHDR, 2LIS_12_VCHDR, 2LIS_12_VCITM, 2LIS_11_VAHDR,2LIS_11_VAITM are in 3.x.
i am not getting any transformation in BI contents.
So what can i do now?
can i migrate all these in BI 7 ? if i migrate these to BI 7 , can i get its transaformation , mappings etc after migration.
if i do it manually transaforamtion etc one by one where can i get mappings details for these datasource.
if i migrate these and when i create transformation for it , is automatically mapping will happen or i need to do it manually?

Hi,
We dont have the TFs for those dataosurce.
Activate the Updaterules and migrate them to RFs.Even after migration from UR , you still need to do the coding of start routines,,etc.

LO cockpit extraction differnce between 2LIS_11_VAHDR     2LIS_11_VASTH

I have a doubt reg LO cockpit extraction(LBWE)
1. The SD extractors like
   2LIS_11_VAHDR     Sales document header
   2LIS_11_VAITM     Sales document item
   2LIS_11_VASCL    Sales document schedule line
   2LIS_11_V_ITM Allocation of order item/delivery item
   2LIS_11_V_SCL Allocation of order schedule line/     delivery item and so on ...............
But when i check the latest business content I dont find these Data sources under the below linketc.

ODP Data Source Delta issue 2lis_11_VAHDR 2lis_11_VAKON

Hi Expert,
I am pulling the data from SAP using ODP data sources. 2LIS_11_VAHDR 2LIS_11_VAITM 2LIS_11_VAKON.
For all the data sources I am doing the initloads. For 2LIS_11_VAITM data source after init load its enabling the delta.
For remaining data sources even if you try to pull the delta it's loading full load.
Steps I am following
LBWG do the deletion of setup tables.
OLI7BW fill the setup tables.
Run the data services job which pull the initial load. It loads all the data.
Change the ODP data source settings to Init load to No (Capture only delta)
In SMQ1 all the delta records will be captured
Run the Jobs which pull the delta records to ODQMON from there if you run Job in data services it has to pull the Delta records.
This is happening for 2LIS_11_VAITM but not for other data sources 2LIS_11_VAHDR and 2LIS_11_VAKON.
Event if you try to pull the delta records its loading all the records.
Can some one throw some light on this

In RSMO, go to the details tab and check in which stage the load has failed. If the issue is with extraction then go to Environment > Job Overview in the source system. Check if this job is complete.
I hope you must have cleared the Delta Queue, so now go and check if any entry is being displayed for 2lis_11_vahdr

Hi Abhay,
The data source which you are trying to use is comes under logistics. To take the logistics data from R/3 to BW set up table needs to be filled up. To fill the set up table follow the below mentioned procedures.
First Delete the set up table to avoid data duplication:
Go to T.Code: SBIW -> Settings for Application Specific data sources (PI) -> Logistics -> Managing Extract structures -> Initialization -> Delete the contents of the setup table
Fill the set up table:
Go to T.Code: SBIW -> Settings for Application Specific data sources (PI) -> Logistics -> Managing Extract structures -> Initialization -> Filling in the setup table -> Application specific set up of statistical data
Choose the relevant node to perform the set up based on your requirement.
Remember while filling the set up table no entry sould get posted in the relevant tables. So while you do this in production system, you may have to request for user locking for the relevant T.Codes.

Missing records in 2LIS_11_VAHDR

Hello Everybody
In the outbound queue in LBWQ , I have one record concerning a modification of a header of a sales document. Ok.
When I run the job LIS-BW_APPLICATION-11_xxx to fill the Delta queue (RSA7), only 2LIS_11_VAITM is filled but not 2LIS_11_VAHDR....
This problem is only for specific type of sales document (AUART = 'ZSPE')....
Any idea ??

Go to transaction code LBWE and make sure the Extractor 2LIS_11_VAHDR is active, additionally review if you have marked an init load for 2LIS_11_VAHDR (you should see 2LIS_11_VAHDR on Delta queue-RSA7).
