2Lis_11_VAHDR issue

Hi I am uploading standard 2lis_11_Vahdr from ECC to BI7..I followed the following sequence:
Datasource-> DSO--> Cube
While creating infocube 0LOC_CURRCY, 0STAT_CURR and 0DOC_CURRCY does not transfer into incube from DSO. Even I tried to add 0currency to "unit" dimention of the cube but the system cannot add it. All BI contents are activated. I tried to add them by infoobject direct input but system gives a message: "Not all InfoObjects transferred successfully: Invalid type for context"
please let me know if anyone has any suggestion.

Hi MM,
Greetings!
Do you have any KFs in the cube which use any of the units you have mentioned? Usually you should have KFs in the cube which have these units in theie definition. Once you do that, when you add these KFs into the cube, these units would automatically get added to the Units dimension.

ODP Data Source Delta issue 2lis_11_VAHDR 2lis_11_VAKON

Hi Expert,
I am pulling the data from SAP using ODP data sources. 2LIS_11_VAHDR 2LIS_11_VAITM 2LIS_11_VAKON.
For all the data sources I am doing the initloads. For 2LIS_11_VAITM data source after init load its enabling the delta.
For remaining data sources even if you try to pull the delta it's loading full load.
Steps I am following
LBWG do the deletion of setup tables.
OLI7BW fill the setup tables.
Run the data services job which pull the initial load. It loads all the data.
Change the ODP data source settings to Init load to No (Capture only delta)
In SMQ1 all the delta records will be captured
Run the Jobs which pull the delta records to ODQMON from there if you run Job in data services it has to pull the Delta records.
This is happening for 2LIS_11_VAITM but not for other data sources 2LIS_11_VAHDR and 2LIS_11_VAKON.
Event if you try to pull the delta records its loading all the records.
Can some one throw some light on this

In RSMO, go to the details tab and check in which stage the load has failed. If the issue is with extraction then go to Environment > Job Overview in the source system. Check if this job is complete.
I hope you must have cleared the Delta Queue, so now go and check if any entry is being displayed for 2lis_11_vahdr

2LIS_11_VAHDR Data Load Issue

Hello Gurus,
I have a cube which sources data from InfoSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR. ( It also sources from 2LIS_11_VAITM. )
The data-source, infopackage, update-rules etc. all is inplace.
(a) In Monitor:
Whenever I try to load data, in RSMO, I get - "yellow triangle" - ( 0 from 0 records ).
In "Detail" tab, I see
--- Extraction (messages): Errors Occured (yellow triangle)
Data request received ( green square )
Data selection scheduled ( green square )
No data available, data selection ended ( yellow triangle).
(b) In InfoPackage:
In "Update tab" the selection is "full update"
(c) I tried:
I tried to do "Replicate DataSources", then "Activated Update Rules, as well as InfoSource". Again ran the data load and checed in RSMO ( monitor), still see the ( 0 From 0 Records ).
How do I go about resolving this?
Would appreciate your help.

Hi,
to check the data in setup tables
go to RSA3>give the data source name>click on extractor
note:when using RSA3, find out what the value of the "Update Mode" is before executing. If the "Update Mode" is F or C, it will look at the data from the setup tables. If it is D or R, then it will check the data in the delta queue. Use the drop down menu for the parameter to see what the different values are for "Update Mode".

For the datasource 2LIS_11_VAHDR
take the extract structure name which you can find in LBWE>select your application area>click on extract structures>pick the extract structure name for your datasource
ex:for SD sales BW application area(11)
the extract structure is MC11VA0HDR.
then
Go to se11 give the extract structure + Setup i.e MC11VA0HDRSETUP.
You can see the data.

Sales Report problem with 2LIS_11_VAHDR, 2LIS_11_VAITM and other DS

Hi Experts,
I need your help in following topic. I have a requirement to build a big (overall) sales report in BI (NW2004s).
I would like to use BI Content because I'm running out of time and try to use all preconfigured stuff if possible.
In the requirement a bunch of fields of different SD DataSources are used (mostly 2LIS_11_VAHDR and 2LIS_11_VAITM but also some fields of other Datasources).
In SE16 I know how to locate all the field in the tables VBAK, VBAP, KNA1, VBKD,
LIKP, VBRK and of course some texts. Some fields could already be located by me, others couldn't even be found in BI.
The difficulty I have is to bring all the DataSources together so that the data is displayed correct - even if there are redundant parts.
For example:
For sales orders the doc no, sales org, distr. channel (and a lot of other header data) should be displayed in each line together with item data such as item no., material code, quantity (and a lot of other item data). If an order has multiple items each item should be diplayed in one row in the report.
In the Query the report should look like a common table (e.g. as in an ALV Grid if you model a query with SQ01) --> a lot of columns.
I'm not sure if I should use one big DSO with multiple InfoSources or if I should create a MultiCube and add the BI DSOs 0SD_O03 (Orders) and 0SD_O01(Order Items).
I know this is a very common requirement in SD. Do you know how to combine the most common SD datasources that no issues come up?

Hi Horst,
Reporting on ODS / DSo is slow. I'm here at a cleint where we have lots of reports on SD_O01 and SD_O03. The best way to have good query performance is to build cubes on top of your ODS. Build a sales cube on top of SD_O03 with all fields and a billing cube on top of SD_O01. Load the data from your ODS to your new cubes. Then create a multipovider on top of both cubes, identify the keyfigures and characteristics required for your queries. Build the queries on top of the multiprovider.
You can display all items of a bill in one row if you choose drill-across for the irems in the query, instead of drill-down. So it looks for a standard SD report.

DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR does not exist in source system ECDCLNT100 of vers

Hi iam working on BI 7 and ECC 6 system. When i try to install the transfer rules for 2 lis_11_vahdr in BI7 business content, it gave a message that "DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR does not exist in source system ECDCLNT100 of version A". i have done an enhancement for this.I activated them from rsa5, activated both in LBWE as well as activated thier structures too after enhancing. I replicated and did all possible steps still iam unable to find.
Can anybody help me who has faced similar issue.

2lis_11_vascl and 2lis_11_vaitm delta issues

Hi ALL,
I am pulling data from Sales order datasources like 2lis_11_vahdr, 2lis_11_vaitm, 2lis_11_vascl, 2lis_11_vasti and 2lis_11_vasth.
I have some problem with standard extractor of 2lis_11_vascl and 2lis_11_vaitm of not capturing the delta properly. I am currently analysing the issue.
Could any one please clear my below doubts.
1. When ever there is a change to schedule line 2lis_11_vascl to a sales order - does the header and item level also come as a delta?.
2. Secondly i find the delta is correctly captured in Item status datasource 2lis_11_vasti whereas i am missing many documents in item level details datasource 2lis_11_vaitm. Have any one faced this issue. Really finding it difficult to debug the standard extractor.
I could sense that i am missing documents in item level only for a particular item category(Third part order).
It would be great if anyone could explain the above two questions to clear my doubt.

                                2AF_SD_SLS_1 with data. Extraction records are generated for the sales order event.
2LIS_11_V_SCL : This DataSource provides the BW with data from the Sales area and supplies the key figure Open Order
                              Quantity in the InfoSource 2AF_SD_SLS_2 with data. Extraction records are generated for the sales order
                               and delivery events.

Unable to use extractor 2LIS_11_VAHDR with Data Services

Hi,
We are currently trying to use Data Services to extract data from ECC to HANA using standard Business Content extractors. BW is beyond the scope of this project and we want to build a custom SQL data mart using Data Services and HANA.
We would like to use the extractor 2LIS_11_VAHDR to extract Sales Order Header information. However, when we try to fill the setup tables for application 11, we see the error ‘No extraction structure active or no BW connected’:
We have confirmed that the data sources are active in both t-codes RSA6 and LBWE. We are also able to pull the DataSource up in t-code RSA3 but obviously no records are returned because the setup tables are empty.

Please advise as to any other steps needed to allow the filling of the setup tables. Your help is highly appreciated.

We were able to resolve this issue with SAP's help. Here is the solution.
If you want to be able to execute OLI7BW, you need to either connect a BW system to the source system or create at least one subscription within Operational Delta Queue.
If you do not want to connect a BW system, this means you would first have to issue a CDC request from Data Service for a 2LIS_11* data source (e.g. 2LIS_11_VAITM) with an empty setup table.
This will create an active subscription, enabling you to start the setup program OLI7BW.
After this you should be able to request a second initial load from Data Services, by temporarily setting property "Initial load" to "Yes". This will be the "real" delta init, providing the data from the setup tables to Data Services.

Migration of 2lis_11_vahdr DS into BI7

Dear Experts,
I have issue with 2lis_11_vahdr data source.
I hope this DS is not support BI7 directly, I relpicated it from R/3 and Migrated into BI7.
Now while converting the existing Infosource into Transformations Iam getting fully mapped Transfermations.
I have installed 0SD_C03 cube also.
I would like to load dats from 2lis_11_vahdr in BI7 with all BI7 option I mean using Transformation method(if content transformation available plz let me know).
Please help me in this...

Hi APC,
1. Select the required source system in the BI content tab.
2. In BI content, select grouping as install objects Before... search for the Cube you want to install and transfer it for the installation.
3. Select the check boxes for the installation of objects.
4. Check Data flow is avaialable properly from Cube>Updaterules>info source>Transfer rules>data source.
5. Then try migrating in the order update rule> Inforsource> transfer rules and then the datasource.
Hope thses steps will help you..revert the migrated data source back to 3.X form and try doing this.

Issue with 2LIS_11_VAITM

Hi,
we are extracting sales related information from ECC through 2LIS_11_VAHDR & 2LIS_11_VAITM to the BW Evironment. but last few delta runs we are missing new/chanaged records from the VBAK/VBAP.
I am not able to understand why we are missing these documents in the the standard extractor. this was working fine till last week and never had any issues with the missing records.
I have tried to run RSA3 in ECC , but i am not able to get this records in ECC while running the extractor in Full update mode.
please suggest how to resolve the issue.

I have checked with the functional team and they informed, while submitting the sales orders it ran in to Idoc errors, then they have manually processed this sales order via we21.
Moreover there are quite few documents like this are missing in RSA3 Extraction itself and all this documents are from one paritcular date(02/18/2012)
How we can pull this missing records to BW, (i.e. re-running the set up table for the missing records and run the repair full update to BW, is this right way ? if we do whats the pros and cons ?)

Problem to extract data using DS 2LIS_11_VAHDR & 2LIS_11_VAITM

Hello Experts,
my requirement is to extract the SD sales Item & sales header data int BI. while executing the Reports in BI I find some incosistencies in data
Ex: for for some Sales organizations
      0CRM_NUMDOC = 17 and the corresponding   0NETVALORD = 0,00
and for some sales organization
     0CRM_NUMDOC = 0 and the corresponding   0NETVALORD = 5200,00
we are using the data sopurce 2LIS_11_VAHDR to load Document header data and the data sopurce 2LIS_11_VAITM to get Item Net value data. and used two trtansformations to the same SAP standard cubes 0CSAL_C05 & 0CSAL_C03.
asper my analysis in development system I find
       VBAK contains 1405 records but the DS 2LIS_11_VAHDR extracts only 1235 records.
but
       VBAP conains   2665 records and the DS 2LIS_11_VAITM extracts all 2665 records.
is it creats the problem?
I deleted the setuptables and again fill them even thought I have the same problem ?
If you have any idea regarding this issue please share with me.

Check indeed the extraction in your source system with RSA3.
Also perform the load and check your data in PSA (before any transformation takes place).
Are you going to use delta or full loading? I assume it's delta? So if you perform your initial load with data, no use of the setup table is required...
If you have too much data to do this, try an initial load without data, first delta load and next a full repair load (which will read your setup table). Do not forget to fill your setup table with all the historical data you need in transaction SBIW.

2LIS_11_VAHDR want to add order status

I am trying to modify 2LIS_11_VAHDR to include MCVBUK -> GBSTA, which is the overall status of an order. I go into LBWE and click on Maintain. Other fields from MCVBUK are available to move over from the right side of screen to the left. Why is MCVBUK -> GBSTA not available? When I go to SE11 and look in MCVBUK, GBSTA is there. Same problem if I try to add it to 2lis_11_vaitm.
Also, in the maintain screen, the first field that shows for MCVBUK is "MCVBUK /SAPMP/LBASK DTUCSTA", can someone tell me what that is?

About the Issue :
This will happen normally.
Follow the steps.
1. Goto RSA2 -> DS Name-> Goto field Tab->You will see the Field -> For that field Check the column Property -> I hope it will be "A" ( Means hided by SAP for BW).
2. Then goto SE16 -> ROOSFIELD or ROOSOURCE-> PROVIDE THE DS Name-> Chnge the Objervers verion for that field.Your problem will be solved.
If you are not able to see the field in RSA2 also then the problem with the system.Need to inform SAP.

2LIS_03_BF, 2LIS_11_VAHDR and PP question

I'm deriving a report & need following:
1) Inventory - Stock in transit: For this calculation I require issuing & receiving plants. I get receiving/issue plant as a single field (UMWRK) in 2LIS_03_BF, but I want bifurcation between receiving & issue plant & not a single field. Is there any other field in 2LIS_03_BF which gives bifurcation?
2) PP - Production Plant: As per ECC logic I need to identify Special procurement type(MARC-SOBSL) for the Material/Plant combination. Pass WERK & SOBSL from MARC to T460A ( with following restriction MARC-BESKZ <> "E"). Get WRK02 from T460. Do we have a standard datasource which gives MARC-SOBSL, MARC-WERK, MARK-BESKZ & T460-WRK02?
3) SD: I need to derive Sales order Qty with restrictions on VBUK-CMPSB, VBAK-VTWEG and VBUK-GBSTK. I've identified datasource 2LIS_11_VAHDR as this points to header data. I get VBUK-CMPSB and VBAK-VTWEG but VBUK-GBSTK I'm not getting in 2LIS_11_VAHDR. Do I have any other option to enhance 2LIS_11_VAHDR & accommodate VBUK-GBSTK through code or any standard datasource or functionality is available?

1) 2LIS_03_BF clearly gives you the receiving plant and the issuing plant. For eg if you are doing plant to plant transfer there will be 2 entries in 2lis_03_bf , one for issue and one for receiving. You can bifurcate the receiving plant and the issuing plant by using either process key (BWVORG ) or debit credt (SHKZG) (H stands for issue & S stands for receipt).
2) 0MAT_PLANT_ATTR provides you the plantwise specila procurement type
3) you will get VBUK-GBSTK in the standard source 2LIS_11_VASTH . You will have to combine the data at the BW level

Sales Header and Item integration issues.

If I integrate 2LIS_11_VAHDR and 2LIS_11_VAITM into an ODS:
Issues:
1) If I make my SO # as a Key Field: then I cannot capture all my item level details since they will be overwritten as the key is just SO #.
2) If i make both SO # and SO Item # as key fields: I can capture all my item details with out any problem since VAITM will have both SO # and SO Item # but how do I capture specifically header details as header DS does not have SO Item #

2LIS_11_VAHDR - Initialize delta process error

Hi,
I have an issue initializing infosource 2LIS_11_VAHDR for delta process on a new BW3.1c instance created from a system copy. Other delta loads work properly but not this one.
In the AWB monitor, the status indicates 'no data available' even if the source system LIS setup tables have been recreated with some records available. What's more puzzling is the fact that the error also indicates that 'the data request was a full update' even if the update mode is set to initialize delta process.
Any tips would be appreciated.

RSA3 simulated 0 records but the R/3 table had plenty of records to be processed.
But what resolved the problem was deleting and re-creating the BW infopackage and re-initializing the delta process.

New DVR Issues (First Run, Channel Switching, etc.)

I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to find answers through the search with no luck, so sorry if I missed something.
I recently switched to FIOS from RCN cable in New York. I've gone through trying to setup my DVR and am running into issues and was hoping for some answers.
1. I setup two programs to record at 8PM, I was watching another channel at the time and only half paying attention. Around 8:02 I noticed a message had popped up asking if I would like to switch channels to start recording. I was expecting it to force it to switch like my old DVR, but in this case it didn't switch and I missed the first two minutes of one of the shows. I typically leave my DVR on all day and just turn off the TV, this dual show handling will cause issues with that if I forget to turn off the DVR. Is there a setting I can change that will force the DVR to choose one of the recording channels?
2. I setup all my recordings for "First Run" because I only want to see the new episodes. One show I setup was The Daily Show on comedy central, which is shown weeknights at 11pm and repeated 3-4 times throughout the day. My scheduled recordings is showing all these as planned recordings even though only the 11pm show is really "new". Most of the shows I've setup are once a week so they aren't a problem, but this seems like it will quickly fill my DVR. Any fixes?

I came from RCN about a year ago. Fios is different in several ways, not all of them desirable. Here are several ways to get--and fix--unwanted recordings from a series recording setup.
Some general principles.
Saving changes. When you originally create a series with options, or if you go back to edit the options for an existing series, You MUST save the Series Options changes. Pretty much everywhere else in the user interface, when you change an option, the change takes effect immediately--but not in Series Options. Look at the Series Options window. Look at the far right side. There is a vertical "Save" bar, which you must navigate to and click OK on to actually save your changes. Exiting the Series Options window without having first saved your changes loses all your attempted changes--immediately.
Default Series Options. This is accessed from [Menu]--DVR--Settings--Default Series Options. This will bring up the series options that will automatically be applied to the creation of a NEW series. The options for every previously created series will not be affected by a subsequent modification of the Default Series Options. You should set these options to the way you would like them to be for the majority of series recordings that you are likely to create. Be sure to SAVE your changes. This is what you will get when you select "Create Series Recording" from the Guide. When creating a new series recording where you think that you may want options different from the default, select "Create Series with Options" instead. Series Options can always be changed for any individual series set up later--but not for all series at once.
Non-series recordings. With Fios you have no directly available options for these. With RCN and most other DVRs, you can change the start and end times for individual episodes, including individual episodes that are also in a series. With Fios, your workarounds are to create a series with options for a single program, then delete the series later; change the series options if the program is already in a series, then undo the changes you made to the series options later; or schedule recordings of the preceding and/or following shows as needed.
And now, to the unwanted repeats.
First, make sure your series options for the specific series in question--and not just the series default options--include "First Run Only". If not, fix that and SAVE. Then check you results by viewing the current options using the Series Manager app under the DVR menu.
Second, and most annoying, the Guide can have repeat programs on your channel tagged as "New". It happens. Set the series option "Air Time" to "Selected Time". To make this work correctly, you must have set up the original series recording after selecting the program in the Guide at the exact time of a first run showing (11pm, in your case), and not on a repeat entry in the Guide. Then, even it The Daily Show is tagged as New for repeat showings, these will be ignored.
Third, another channel may air reruns of the program in your series recording, and the first showing of a rerun episode on the other channel may be tagged as "New". These can be ignored in your series if you set the series option "Channel" to "Selected Channel". Related to this, if there is both an SD and HD channel broadcasting you series program, you will record them both if the series option "Duplicates" is set to "Yes". However, when the Channel option is set to "Selected Channel", the Duplicates Option is always effectively "No", regardless of what shows up on the options screen.
As for you missing two minutes, I have sereral instances in which two programs start recording at the same time. To the best of my recollection, whenever the warning message has appeared, ignoring it has not caused a loss of recording time. You might have an older software version. Newest is v.1.8. Look at Menu--Settings--System Info. Or, I might not have noticed the loss of minutes. I regularly see up to a minute of previous programming at the start of a recording, or a few missing seconds at the beginning or end of a recording. There are a lot of possibilities for that, but the DVR clock being incorrect is not one of them. With RCN, the DVR clocks occasionally drifted off by as much as a minute and a half.
