Have installed Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended on my PC and now want to put on my laptop. Does the license allow me to do this?

Yes, provided the two copies are not running simultaneously (and they're both for your own use)

CS 5 2nd installation issue

I have installed CS5 (not CC) onto my laptop, as my second install. I am getting the message "One or more files in the Adobe Application Support folder, necessary for running PS, are missing. Please run the PS installer and re-install PS." I know others have had this problem, as well, as I have read many posts in the forum. The problem is that If I uninstall it, I won't be able to reinstall because this is my 2nd install. I'm sure there must be some way to rectify this problem, but I need help from an adobe staff person. Please help!

IMac won't recognize 2nd installation disc for Creative Suite 5.5 Prod Premium

Can someone help me? I bought Adobe Creative Suites 5.5 ProductionPremuim and I'm having trouble. I entered the serial number and product code and all that. It starts to install, and the first Application 1 disc installs just fine, but when it spits it out and asks for the Application 2 disc, it doesn't recognize it and keeps asking me to put in the Application 2 disc.
I know it is not a hardware iMac issue because the drive was just replaced last month, and other CDs work just fine. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Do I need a new Application 2 disc, or am I doing something wrong? Or should I just bypass it altogether and try to download it using the same serial number?

copy both disc's contents to a desktop folder and install from there.

Logic Pro - 2nd installation

Hi,
I need to install Logic Pro 9 (Mainstage) onto a second MacBook for a gig I'm doing.
I understand that my license for Logic extends to 2 installations, a desktop and a laptop, but my first laptop IS my desktop computer, hence the second installation.
It's telling me that the serial number's not vaild, but I know it's correct...
Is there a way around this?

Check that you are not transposing "0s and "o"s etc. If the two machines are not connected to a network together, the number should work.

Failure 2nd installation disc

I wanted to install the IOSX to my imac G5, i installed the cd 1, it was OK, then it asked to install cd 2, there is a failure.
I tried several times to eject the cd, it worked, but on the screen still the failure message impossible to restart the system normally, each time the installation cd 2 is required, how do I erase this message and come to a normal start?? Thankyou very much for your assistance

You should visually inspect that second disc, for any obvious smudges or scratches.
Your profile says you have Leopard (10.5), but I didn't think Leopard came on multiple OS installation discs. Is this an earlier Mac OS X version? If so, which one. I don't know what "IOSX" is...
If the Installer offers an "Options" button, to select what is being installed, it may be possible to unselect some of those options to remove the need to use the second disc.

Problems with 2nd installation of creative suite 4 "design premium" – iMac (end 2013)

hello
have a design premium cs4 installed on a MacBook Pro in 2010. now i've installed this package on an iMac (new home station).
result: any programs are running, any are broken and indesign say no function for the license?!
a valid serial number is available and the license agreement is no problem (same network).
i would like to install the whole package from this online-service now with the available serial number from 2010.
do i have to uninstall all programs before or can i download and install all over the damaged version i actually have?

Problem with 2nd installation

I pay on monthly basis for the Teachers Version of Adobe CC. I installed Adobe CC on my Desktop and want to install it now on my laptop.
Although I have an Adobe ID and I entered the serial number, Adobe CC doesn't accept and I only get an Trial version.

What means in my eyes, that you indeed can use it on WIN and Mac, but not on two computers at the same time, you have to "purchase".

Missing fonts on 2nd installation

I installed ID4 on a new computer and some of the fonts that came with the program when I first installed on a old computer were missing. Same disk was used. Only difference this time was I first installed as a trial version. I was using an old Pagmaker serial # the system didn't recogonize and resolved the issue with an adobe tech from the sign on screen rather than the install screen (as I had the first time). Gary

Minya Nouvelle is a font from Typodermic, created by Ray Larabie. You can donwnload them for free (desktop and web use) from MyFonts:

If I download Mountain Lion on my MBP , can I use the same installer file on a different computer and continue the installation without Internet connectivity?

I have just downloaded Mountain lion on my Macbook Pro(haven't installed it yet) . My question is, can I copy the same downloaded Mountain Lion from the Applications on to an external hard drive and use the same on a different computer? I am having problems with internet connectivity right now, it would be amazing if it can be installed on the iMac without internet connection.
So is that doable?

My PC with iTunes on it got fried (lightning). I have a 2nd PC with iTunes on it. How can I move my devices to that iTunes (I have recovered data from the drive)

I had a primary PC that had iTunes on it that got fried by lightning strike a few months ago. I have several devices (1 iPod, 1 iPad, 3 iPhones) that were synched with that iTunes install. I had a secondary PC with a separate iTunes installation on it (separate music library.) I recovered the hard drive so I can move the music to the secondary PC, but how can I sync my devices with that 2nd installation of iTunes without losing all of the information on those devices? (I haven't saved or synched those devices since the summer.) Can I keep the playlists from from the first PC?

Sorted it out. DNS error when launching Application login page after R12 installation

Hi ,
I installed R12.0.4 on windows server 2003.
After installation when I launch the home page, its giving dns error saying that <domainname>.<hostname> cannot be loaded.
I checked the apache alert log, it is trying to access an IP that is commented out in the host file. I am not sure where it is picking it up from. I installed loopback adapter before the installation and the entries in the host file also seem fine. Please help me out, this is the 2nd installation but the issue is still not resolved. Please let me know if you need anymore details.

Since you were not able to access the application URL using the IP Address then I believe it is an issue with the application/database services. To verify that all application services are up and running properly, please do the following:
- Open a new DOS session
- cd %INST_TOP%\apps\<SID>_<hostname>\admin\scripts
- Issue "adopmnctl.sh status"
- You should get something similar to the following:

I couldn't find any info about this in the 7 Series Config User Guide. Does this apply to the 7 Series FPGAs?

2nd install of CS3?

About a year ago I purchased from Adobe a copy of CS3, and installed it on my Mac Pro. It's worked fine. Recently I acquired a new MacBook Pro and wanted to do a second install on the laptop. However, when I try and activate the install on the laptop, I get a message that all of the installs have been used (doesn't say how many). I know that I didn't install a second copy previously as I didn't have a 2nd computer for the installation. It's also my understanding from reading Adobe's policies that 2nd installs are allowed. I posted this question to Adobe's tech support a week ago, but haven't heard anything. Is there any way to check to see if there are 2 installs of my serial #, and which machines they might be installed on? Any other help would be appreciated.

You need to call customer service.
Please be advised that the license contemplates one user and two machines that will not be used simultaneusly, usually a desktop machine and a laptop.
