2px Difference Between FF Mac and IE, FF(PC)

The Colored Menu Links on my test page have a 2px difference
in height between FF-Mac and IE, FF-PC.
Any idea what is causing this?
Is it me or should I use a conditional comment?

Starting as far back as I know about. Mac versions of Microsoft Office:
Office 98
Office 2001
Office v.X
Office 2004
Office 2008
Office v.X was basically the same as Office 2001 but ran on OS X rather than OS 9. I am running Office v.X right now. Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Entourage all have version numbers starting with 10.something.
Office 2004 is currently onsale and is the latest version but is only optimised for PowerPC processors. Since early to mid 2006 Apple has used Intel processors. Office 2008 will be Intel native. You can purchase Office 2004 today and obtain a free update to Office 2008 when it's released early net year.
If you are running PowerPC Macs then Office v.X may well be suitable in fact Office v.X still runs fine on my Intel iMac with Leopard.

Two types of MAC implementations are possible with Fit APs, known as the Local MAC and the Split MAC architectures. Local MAC is where all the wireless MAC functions are performed at the AP. The complete 802.11 MAC functions, including management and control frame processing, are resident on the APs. These functions include time-sensitive functions (also known as Real Time MAC functions).
The Split MAC architecture divides the implementation of the MAC functions between the AP and the controller. The real-time MAC functions include functions such as beacon generation, probe transmission and response, control frame processing (for example Request to Send and Clear to Send—RTS and CTS), retransmission, and so on. The non-real time functions include authentication and deauthentication; association and reassociation; bridging between Ethernet and Wireless LAN; fragmentation; and so on.
Vendors differ in the type of functions that are split between the AP and the controller, and in some cases, even about what constitutes real time. One common implementation of a Fit AP involves local MAC at the AP and control and management functions at the AP.

Difference between pocket mac and new desktop manager?

i use pocket mac and its fine for my bberry contacts, etc.should i change to the new software?

I agree with deepblade. I know a few people who downloaded the software without reading all the instuctions, or without doing a complete uninstall of pocketmac. Also some people didn't not check the proper sync services to make sure their device was being seen.
For me pocketmac never worked and completely screwed up my contacts.
Although DM is not perfect, IMHO, its 10 times better than pocket mac.
For those claiming they are going to run out an buy an iphone, get over yourselves. There is no perfect device or associated software that works 100% out the gate everytime for everyone.
I'm sure when DTM for the PC was introduced there were issues. RIM seems to have teh PC version under control and people seem happy. I'm new (6 weeks) to blackberry/RIM but I like my device and I would like to give them a chance and I hope they are reading this board and people are calling/email with issues so that they can be addressed/correct ASAP!

What are the differences between the Mac and Windows version of CS5

Hello. I am considering to buy the Educational version of Adobe CS5 Production Premium (mainly using Illustrator but once in a while photoshop and Premiere). How is the Mac version compared with the Windows version? Is it better or the same? As far as I know, the Helvetia font is available for free on the Mac version. However, there must be lots of other differences. Thanks

I know of no differences with Illustrator. The only difference I am aware of is that Acrobat for Windows includes LiveCycle Designer. I am told it is a versatile and useful tool for form design and it integrates well with larger databases. I have only used the form design tools and I can testify that they suck balls.

I have a Dell laptop which I am extremely satisfied with but recently I am thinking of buying a Mac book Pro.
Please tell me what do you think (based on your experiences) and what are the major benefits and downsides between these two.
Also please tell me what do you think of installing Vista on a Mac book Pro? Is it wise?

Differences between the Mac and PC versions of Premiere Pro CS5

That may very well be the case. I was only in charge of the Premiere Pro documentation for a few weeks (part of June and part of July), and that wasn't enough time to get it into the "I will stake my reputation on it being complete and correct" state that I took years to get the After Effects documentation into.
If you see a gap or error, please leave a comment on the relevant page(s) of the document so that the people who are now in charge will see them. These comments are the most direct line of communication that you have with the documentation team.
Now that I'm in Technical Support, I'll do what I can to advocate for more comprehensive documentation in Help and such.

The Macbook is a computer (running Mac OS X), an iPad is a tablet (running iOS). What are thinking of using it for ? The Mac is more powerful than iPad, so if you need processing power then that will be better suited for your needs. If you will mainly be using it for media (films, music), internet browsing, emails, ebooks, then an iPad would be sufficient.

What is difference between air play and home sharing when wanting to show photos on HD tv through apple tv? Just bought Mac book air and apple tv.

You would have to use home-sharing if streaming from a computer. Computer would need to be on and running iTunes.

In OSX Activity Monitor, what's the difference between 'free' memory and 'inactive' memory

In OS X Activity Monitor, what's the difference between 'free' memory and 'inactive' memory. My daughters 2Gb MacBook Pro is very slow, it probably needs more memory but there is almost 1Gb of 'inactive' memory but no 'free' memory when an application is opened.

Free RAM is the one that has not been used by any application since you started up your Mac, and inactive RAM is the one that was used by an application and it is not in use anymore.
1 GB of inactive RAM is a lot, and it may be the cause of the slowness. There are a lot of apps that allows you to turn inactive into free RAM. I use FreeMemory, but have a look at the Mac App Store.
If you are a developer, you can do that with a command you can type into Terminal:
sudo purge

The shut down turns off the Mac and a log out closes your user and take your computer to the log in screen. To sell the Mac, you have to reinstall Mac OS X erasing the disk. Open  > About this Mac and copy Version

Hello Karen,
If you are using Final Cut Express, then look for camcorders that are AVCHD camcorders. Look especially for the AVCHD logo and specific mention of AVCHD in the specs. Most of the major manufacturers produce good quality camdcorders - Canon, Sony, etc.
Also, be aware that there are a lot of "not quite AVCHD" camcorders on the market (sometimes they say they record video as MPEG4-H.264/AVC) - buyer beware!
Most everything you are going to find on the market today is HD, which stands for "high-def".
Regarding your question about the Panasonic camcorder, it's best if you post that as a separate question, and please identify the specific model camcorder and the Easy Setup you are using in FCE.
